Once he saw where the leak was coming from in the basement, he went into the bathroom, turned on the water, and quickly diagnosed that the "arm" pipe that connects to the shower head was cracked, allowing water to seep through and run down the pipes behind the wall and into the basement. Simple fix. He had a part that would fit in his truck, but said it was chrome, not the "satin nickel" finish of the other fixtures. He returned in about 2 minutes with a satin looking finished arm and said he used some sandpaper to replicate the satin finish. Who does that? Looks perfect! He was very reasonably priced, really nice knowledgeable guy, and very careful and neat with the work. I will absolutely be using TJP the next time I have any plumbing issues.

I'm sure there are more plumbing problems in our house that haven't been revealed yet. Our GC (who was awesome) fired them in the middle of the job and replaced them with StraightEdge Plumbing. The StraightEdge team is everything CZ is not - professional, reliable, and knowledgeable.

We called on a Friday in the late afternoon and in 2 hours Riley was there and couldn't have been more pleasant or competent. He came up with a temporary fix that allowed us to turn the water back on until we could have ductwork removed to give him access to repair it permanently. He tested the area with air, so he wouldn't risk water leaking. He went through the whole house to make sure there weren't any other leaks and even checked the water meter to make sure water wasn't leaking where it couldn't be seen or heard. He was there for just under an hour. They are very fairly priced, although we weren't in a negotiating position. That's extremely unusual for the Hamptons. I recommend them without reservation!

We had a very shaky toilet that another plumber "fixed" 5 months prior. Mike got down to the bottom of the problem and gave me updates on what he was finding every step of the way. There were some major issues that needed to be fixed and Mike did not take any shortcuts, he was very transparent from start to finish. Our flange was rotted and Mike removed the broken flange put in a new flange set in concrete. He put in a new toilet and sealed it with silicone. This review is 1.5 months late because I wanted to be sure that the repairs made by Felip at GME Plumbing held up after he completed the plumbing work. I took pictures and sent them to Felip and he provided a reasonable estimate which included parts and labor, so we hired him. Felip and his helper did excellent work, left the place clean, and took away the rubbish. We paid the price in his estimate; there were no surprise extra charges. He 1) Repaired a leaking shower, replaced seat of valve with a special tool. Two previous plumbers only changed the washers and the leaks never stopped. 2) Replaced washing machine valves located behind shower wall. 3) Removed an old leaky toilet and replaced it with a new toilet. It's been over a month since the repairs were completed and there have been no leaks. The water bill is 40% less because of the repairs Felip made. We are very happy with Felip's work and will definitely use him again should we have further plumbing issues.
