A warning, sometimes they can be closed for weddings or other events. There is plenty of parking on the property. Bottomline: these cider donuts have got to be the best in the city!

The little tasting barn wasn't the nicest, it's sort of just a space. However, our hostess was awesome, personable, and helped make everything really fun. I really enjoyed a few of the wines! I'm not normally enamored with Kansas wines, but there were a few that were absolutely hitting the spot on this summer evening. There's not really anything to tour, so if you come out when there's not live music there's not much to see or do. Plus the staff really were not very nice. Our friends didn't know and tried to bring their own beer. This staff lady yelled at them like they were kids in front of everyone. Then threaten to kick them out if they didn't dispose of the beer immediately. Later we found out from someone else that beer violated their liquor license and they could get in trouble. So why not calmly explain that and ask them to toss it. Rather than yelling at them in front of everyone. Would have left immediately after that but had promised our buddy we'd stay to hear his band.

Which I liked since it helped give it a barn chic and it's a bit of a distance from downtown KC. I came for a wedding and I really liked the venue but it wasn't a breathe taking venue since it's beside the main road coming in and out of Weston from the highway. Apparently, it's hard to get a spot to reserve for the venue and I somewhat see why.The parking area to the main venue area is a climb especially if you have heels and/ or older guests with you. Do I recommend it? Yes but I might want to look other places since I don't feel like it's unique.

Now this ranch is more than just Horseback Riding, they offer date nights, which is where you and your partner(or a few friends) take a ride around the ranch on the horses and end the night eating a candlelight dinner outside. They even attempt to cater to you when it comes to drink and/or alcohol beforehand. When we went, it was getting darker than normal, and close to pitch black by the end of the ride - they admitted they'd probably have to move the dinner nights earlier to compensate for the next date nights. Also don't rely on being able to obtain your group pictures - as we never saw ours get uploaded. But these friends who are turning this ranch, which has been passed down from family, into something new and different - are doing an amazing job.
