Not only did I encounter some brands I'd never seen before, but they also perfectly hit my prized trifecta/venn diagram of shopping: bold and fun prints, natural fibers, and reasonably priced. The store has tons of floor space and is filled with happy colors, unique prints and a variety of styles. If I lived here this would be on my regular rotation. Staff was kind and helpful. I almost skipped out the door with my purchase, heart filled with shopping joy. I'd forgotten what that was like.

I emailed the store and received the following automatic reply: Due to the long lasting recession and high inflation our store can no longer cope with the dramatic drop in sales. These financial hardships unfortunately resulted in the very sad decision to permanently close the store. This is unfortunately a situation beyond our control. We no longer have access to consignor accounts and all remaining items are subject to donations. May 29, 2022 - Store is under new ownership since about Nov 2021…read more Horrible experience with new owner. Retrieved all my clothes recently when I couldn't get a balance on my account after several attempts. I was told yesterday, that even though those clothes/accessories had sold, they had "expired" long ago and therefore NO balance was owing to me. For the record, I extended the time twice (once they extended it themselves-noted on an email- as their system was down and they were transitioning to a new system). My clothes and accessories were featured prominently on their website, on their mannequins, in their window displays and modelled/featured many many times on instagram, and I could see when some sold - so I question that they were "expired" as obviously they were very much still sellable. Regardless, they sold my items recently or in the last 3 months (many designer - Kate Spade, Club Monaco, Aritzia, BCBG, etc.) and kept 100% of the proceeds - sending me a pittance apparently for items that sold prior to expiry . Do not consign with this new owner! If you currently do - I would pull my stuff from that store and demand a full accounting of the transactions. I will be filling a complaint with the BBB this week. I had to give it a 1 start in order to post this review - but this new owner does not deserve any.

I was assigned to be Agent Hill. Now..... I have to hunt for a costume. I searched and there isn't a pre-made outfit available for purchase. Agent Hill isn't a super popular character. So my only choice is to get dark navy blue cloths and improvise. I came to Ricki's and at first glance, I didn't see what I needed. After talking to the sales person, who was super helpful and helped me find a pair of pants. Yes, that worked. Now, I just need to hunt for a top. Great service! The store, Ricki's is always clean and neatly organized. They periodically have items on sale. Great store. I ended up signing up for their membership card. The store is located inside Core Mall downtown.

That being said, one of the only stores here that carries Levis is Mark's Work Wearhouse. I sauntered over there the other day, having not been in a Mark's for years. Nice! Ample, two floors, well labelled and categorized, high ceilings and good pricing. Of course you have all your working accessories, everything in great quality and work function able. There is also casual clothing here and killer work boots, perfect keep warm clothing paraphernalia for our cold weather. Levis are in both the men's and women's section and average from 35 to 80 dollars. There are your standard button fly 501s in both blue jean and black and 516's. The service is impeccable, I couldn't find the length size that I needed and the sales lady there made phone calls to other stores for me. I finally found a nice crisp pair at $64 and I liked them so much I paid for them, wore them and walked out of the store. Mark's keeps its standards going after 9 years which was the last time I was in a Mark's.

I love my new quilted hoodie!…read more I asked for a quilted hoodie from my husband for Christmas...He got me one from Marks. Unfortunately it was just a zip up sweatshirt...no hood. When I went to exchange it, I found out it was purchased on sale. I was only able to get store credit. I had to pay an extra 40 bucks to have a hood put on. It would have been nice to get the replacement for the same price that was originally spent but...would have been against their store policy. Next time we will just buy gifts elsewhere...Sales there are great if I am buying for myself though.

Got a Marant top, and a brand I'd never heard of, but they had a huge selection of stuff and I wish I'd had a little more time. Things were neatly organized by color and then by style- for example tops started sleeveless, graduating to short sleeves, then long sleeves. But all sizes mixed in- but that's part of the digging fun. Staff was so lovely and helpful, quick to offer a dressing room start seconds after I started carrying something. Also exciting that they have color coded tags. I felt like Charlie looking for that golden Wonka ticket, and was thrilled that my most expensive item was 50% off. Total score. Left there buzzing from the variety of prints, brands, and fabrics. If I were a local, this place would be in regular rotation.

I am writing to share my deep frustration regarding the recent experience I've had with their…read morereview-based rewards program. I am a frequent shopper who values your brand, but the current implementation of their coupon policy is incredibly disappointing and feels intentionally misleading. Between April 2nd and April 13th, I submitted five product reviews. Based on my understanding of the program, I was anticipating receiving my 25% discount code on July 1st. To my dismay, I discovered that the coupon is tied specifically to the last date a review was submitted. Consequently, I am now forced to wait until July 13th to receive the discount, rather than the beginning of the month. This policy is incredibly frustrating for a few reasons: Lack of Transparency: Nowhere on their website was it clearly stated that the issuance of the reward is pegged to the specific calendar date of the final review submission. I feel blindsided by a rule that isn't communicated upfront. Inventory Risk: Because I am now stuck waiting until the 13th, the items I intended to purchase with this discount are at a high risk of selling out or having my size become unavailable. It defeats the purpose of being a loyal customer who takes the time to provide feedback if I cannot actually use the incentive provided. The Logic of the Policy: The current structure simply doesn't make sense. If a customer submits a review on the 30th of a month, they receive the coupon on the 30th--practically at the end of the window. Furthermore, if I purchase an item on the 29th, I am effectively forced to wait until the 30th to review it anyway. It would be far more customer-friendly and logical to have these rewards issued on the 1st of the month, regardless of the specific submission date, so that customers can actually plan their shopping accordingly. I truly enjoy Anthro products, but this experience has left me feeling undervalued as a customer. I hope Anthro will reconsider how this policy is messaged to shoppers or, better yet, update the system to be more functional and transparent.
