Cost for Tokens as of 06/27/25
Teresa L.

I love claw machines, I am usually good at it, but this place is expensive compare to other locations in the Twin Cities. As you can see, it was $20 for 38 tokens, BUT each machine takes like 2-6 tokens--depending which one you want to play. For example, a 12-inch Squirtle (medium size) cost 6 tokens to play while the smaller ones were 4 tokens. The claw didn't grip well. For example, Squirtle fell back down after the claw hit/retracted to the top. It took 4 tries to get Squirtle to move it little by little. The aisles are small and can seem cramp when it is busy. There is a cute shopping cart to place your winnings. Compare to other places like in Roseville or Blaine, it has more prize options. The downside is the cost. For $20 - 38 tokens, I was in and out of the store in 15-minutes. Originally I was hoping to get an authentic labubu, but after it took 4 tries to get 1 squirtle, I left with the plush.

I'd avoid this place until the hype dies down months later. It's a great concept but this place is BUSY and there isn't enough logical space to carry out the idea properly. The machines are in small aisles and there are carts for your winnings, cute in theory but it takes up half the aisle. It honestly feels like a fire hazard with how packed it is with both people and machines. They also serve bubble tea and shaved ice cream. There's a small seating area along the window and a section for sitting in the middle which honestly takes up space that should have been used for spacing the games. It's also pricey. The machines I saw ranged from 2-6 tokens and the gotcha machines were 11-14 coins. We didn't have any luck winning anything but others did. The quality of the prizes seem good and corresponds with the token cost I suppose but some of the machines seemed impossible to win. How does someone win a pull box prize if they're all packed in neat order at the bottom of the machine? It is easy to find parking in the area so that's a plus but for me personally that's about it.

My friend and I arrived on a Saturday around 3pm and had to wait outside for about five minutes before we could get in due to occupancy limits. I'm thankful they had us wait and monitor how many folks are in at once. It was still busy and you had to wait a minute or two to get to the claw machine you wanted, but it wasn't miserable. My friend and I each started with $20 worth of tokens which was 38 tokens. Most of the small plushie claw machines were 3 or 4 tokens to play. My friend won two items right away, while I lost it all fairly quickly. We then each got a Horchata Milk Tea and added tapioca pearls & split a shaved ice. If you're on the fence about sweetness level I recommend you go with a 100% sweetness because my friend got 50% sweetness and said it didn't taste like anything. The Oreo Korean Shaved Ice was 10/10! We sat at a little table along the wall and enjoyed our treats while we watched people play and got to see employees reload & adjust the plushies in the machines. I asked them why they are readjusting and they said if too many are close to the glass the claw can't reach the plushie so they reposition them by putting them in the middle of the machine. After sitting and watching some people tactics, I decided to get another $20 worth of tokens and give it another shot. I then won two plushies from there!! So, $40 I walked out with 2 small/medium sized plushies. I'd give this place another visit in the future once they change out inventory.

We love coming to this location. There are a few claw machine businesses around but we prefer this one because you have a good chance on winning. Plus you are able to trade them in for other things. They also have staff walk around refilling the machines and "fluffing" them to give customers a good chance to win with ease. The staff is always friendly and they also have a drink shop inside. There is plenty of machines to choose from but it can get a little crowded if there is a decent amount of people in there. We have not had that happen yet but i have read other reviews and can see how it could cause issues. Overall we love this place and will be back soon!

This claw machine arcade is bigger than most in the Twin Cities and they do offer an array of toys. Cute aesthetics and they do offer bubble tea. However, it is not worth the money. You spend about $100 and get maybe two toys. The claws are extremely weak, do not grasp well, and not worth the money spent. Also each machine takes multiple tokens to play.

Duck was pretty fun! I love being able to enjoy a boba while playing with claw machines!!! They have cute seatings and also serve shaved ice. We won two stuffies we didn't want to trade. Things were quite expensive and it was a little annoying that most machines required 3 tokens (I feel like it's not much actual plays despite feeling like you get a lot of tokens). Staff were friendly and there wasn't much people when we came and you can take around a cute little shopping cart too!

This has a smaller parking lot and is in a center with other local businesses. I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was busy and loud. This was my bad, and if you get over stimulated I'd make sure to bring headphones or something to help. It's a really small space and I definitely think they could've picked a bigger location for this business. I ordered a small Thai Tea and that was delicious, and it came out quickly for being busy. I got coins next to where you order your boba. And that line was quick. Now for the machines itself, some of the bigger stuffed animals were too close to the plastic that separates where the toy drops in. I tried to get a Bulbasuar but the claw hit the plastic, so then my partner tried and was like oh - that one is too close. I also thought it was a little expensive to have most machines be 3-6 coins. I feel like most other places are 1-4 coins I wish I could do half stars - I would have given this place a 2.5. I rounded up to 3 because of the Thai tea. I'd try this place one more time during the week when school is in session, but I feel like there are other clawcades around the TC area that have more affordable machines.

I had such a fun time here! It's more on the pricier side but this is my first time ever at an arcade shop and it was great! I believe the prices for tokens range from 10-100, I decided to go with the 50 dollar option which gave me around 108 tokens. They have a variety of machines to choose from such as plushies, keychains, and snacks. They also have gatcha machines but they were really pricey (10-13 tokens) but they had a really good selection to choose from! Most machines took (2-3 tokens) and the exclusive prize machines range from (5-6 tokens). You can also trade in prizes for a larger one if I'm correct but I'm unsure how that work, it was a bit too busy for me to ask the staff but I'm sure they can explain! :) Not sure if I was just lucky but I ended up winning over 10+ prizes! The staff were also super friendly and if they notice you struggling, they'll set it up for you to win lol. So sweet of them! My only complaint is that the process of buying tokens and boba was really difficult especially on a busy day. The shop is really small and you need to shimmy around just to get in line. I was unsure where the line even started at first.... I also wish the line for boba and the tokens were separate too. They have such yummy looking boba but I couldn't order any because the line was so long just to purchase tokens. Maybe two registers would work or adding an entire diff booth for tokens. Overall, this place is super cute and fun for everyone! I will def visit again in the future.

We finally made it out to Duck! After seeing it on an instagram reel we wanted to check it out but unfortunately they ran out of prizes. So we waited patiently until our schedules lined up and today was the day! It was busy but not too terrible. We didn't have to wait for any machines but there was slight congestion in some areas. Both my girls won plushies from the claw machines! They are surprisingly good quality toys. The prices seem fair compared to any other arcades in the area. They also each got a smoothie and they were really tasty! Overall it was a great experience and we will be back!

I can see why the kids like this place. It's loud, bright and noisy like Vegas but for kids. Parents prepare to spend a fortune. The 30 minutes I was there we spent over $80. Nice to have a place to sit on the side but there is no escaping the noise. It was packed when we was there on a Saturday afternoon. Be patient looking for parking.

I never knew I loved claw machines until I had a fun little date day at Duck and now I'm obsessed! They have so many fun machines (over 100!) and I love that you can return your prize back for credit so that you can save up credit to get a big prize! The Oreo shaved ice was delicious and love they have all the fun boba options so you can have a little treat while you play the machines. I wish there was a little more room between the machines so you aren't running into people all the time but overall it's such a fun atmosphere for all ages!

Hello kitty prizes

This place was advertised well on social media and it's very pretty to look at inside . There is a fun atmosphere , bubble tea , blind boxes and tempting prizes . I play a lot of claw machines and decently skilled. These machines are hard to win. They take 3 to 6 tokens each per play and the regular to large claw machines tend to have a lower pay out. I have watched several times the claw opening before it even got to the prize chute. Staff was not mean but they were okay. Most other claw machine arcades will help you win with tips and setting the prize for an easy win. Staff won't do that for you. Their version of help is refilling the machine. That helps sometimes . The only machines that had a consistent strong hold were the ones in the very middle with the smaller prizes. They are 3 tokens per play and only worth 1 credit each. I figured out this was the only way I was going to get good credits to get a prize. It's a fun place but if you want your money worth and not to be too disappointed then I would recommend Clawzone Park in Bloomington , Neko Clawww in Roseville or claw zone in Maplewood.

This place is a scam. Fake reviews and machines are rigged to drop or open when the claw is retracted to the top. Do not waste your money.

Okay, giddiness aside if I must, here's what you need to know: *two sizes, served in take-out containers. Small (think a side of rice) - $3, large (think what your last order of Kung Pao chicken came in) - $5 *a TON of flavors including Georgia peach, wedding cake, tiger's blood (yes, you read that correctly), blue bubble gum, dreamsicle *additional flavors or sweet cream will run you an additional $.50 each *they have sugarfree options, which I forgot to explore since I was just too excited, a la Jessie Spano I ordered the small king cake as this is a New Orleans-style sno ball truck, after all. It was a perfect purple sno ball with unidentifiable sweetness. I don't know what king cake is supposed to taste like, but I do know that there wasn't a tiny baby in my sno ball like there are in traditional king cakes. That would have been super creepy. It's finally (maybe, hopefully, finger-crossed) summer in Minneapolis and this should be at the tip-top of everyone's bucket list for the foreseeable future.

Dipsy has multiple ice cream flavors and a plethora of shaved ice flavors. We ordered ice cream and it was great. It was nice to enjoy the flavors in the outdoor seating area, multiple picnic style tables in between Dipsy and the coffee shop. The two young women running the show were awesome! They were very friendly, funny, personable, and bubbling over with energy. This is a nice change. I've had many sketchy experiences at ice cream shops that were manned by grumpy, sour faced kids that want to be somewhere else. NOT at Dipsy though. The women were great representatives of the brand. I really like the design of the shop too. The bright color schemes are very cheery and they work great for this type of venue. I gave them 4 stars because I'm kinda skimpy with the places that I rate a top tier 5. For ice cream shops, I usually reserve the highest rating for the places that take it to another level and operate their own creamery in-house, making their own ice cream on-site. No disrespect to Dipsy though. They do a great job. Dipsy is a wonderful addition to the Hudson food scene. I wish them many years of success. Thumbs up! -Maxx

What I love most is how interactive everything is. Each room is private to your group (up to 5 players), so you're always playing with the people you came with, no awkward mixing with strangers. It makes it perfect for families, friends, or even a team outing with coworkers. The Mega Grid is hands-down my favorite and the main reason I keep coming back. We arrived about 30 minutes early and still felt rushed. The mall directions led us to a first kiosk, but Activate is actually on the third floor, so that added some confusion. When we arrived, there was a fairly long line. I had pre-registered online using a gift card, but at check-in they initially said I owed the full amount. I had to ask them to locate and apply the gift card I had already purchased. Once that was sorted out, each person in our group had to sign in separately, which takes a few minutes per person. They did provide a free locker, which was great. I highly recommend putting all jackets and hoodies in there - you will get hot fast. Once signed in, the instructions are very brief, but easy enough to figure out as you go. We were a group of six and hoped to play together, but had to split into two groups. That ended up being fine because we competed against each other, which was actually fun. There are about 10 rooms, and each room offers multiple game options. Every game earns you points, and there's a large scoreboard showing rankings, which adds a fun competitive element. We went on a busy day, so we did have short waits for some games, but usually only a couple of minutes. One downside: I wish there were a water fountain inside the gaming area. You can't bring water bottles in, and while there is a fountain by the lockers, our one-hour session flew by and we barely had time to step out. Overall, we had a great time and would absolutely do it again. Tips if you go: 1. Arrive at least 30 minutes early to find it and check in. 2. Wear shorts, a T-shirt and running shoes. 3. Drink water before you start. Fun, fast-paced, and a great workout!
