We chose the arch topped pattern; we were able to use our original pretty backplates and knobs; we did update with hinges that were internal and more modern in appearance. Within the next month, a carpenter arrived to measure precisely for the project. When the big day arrived, two installers came promptly at 8 am. In two and a half days, the kitchen looked beautifully refreshed and new! Cody D. and Greg C. did an exceptional job installing everything! When they left, the kitchen was spotless! We were informed of the where things were in the process the entire time. The installation guy came into our home and took great care of our home. Floors were covered so they weren't scratched, things were cleaned as he went along, and he made sure we were satisfied before he left. Blaming a potential customer for your neglience is tacky. Tim told me he was going to check his vm to see if I left a msg and call me right back as if I was the one who stood him up. HE cld back on Sunday morning at 8 am, didnt lv a vm and when I tried to call him back he didnt answer the phone. This company wasted my time all last week. Would NOT recommend and will let others know about the unaccountability for his mistake and not even attempting to fix it even after being cld about it repeatedly. I had left my house while they were packing up my home office so…read moreI could work from a second location and told them to call me when they were done and ready to go to the new house. They called after they had already arrived at the new house, so I stopped by the old house to make sure they had locked up. Turns out left my front door wide open (not just unlocked actually OPEN). I didn't want to make a big deal of it so I locked up and met them at the new house and mentioned quietly to one mover what had happened. They were very apologetic. The next day while unpacking we noticed things missing, so I went back to the old house to see if anything had been left. They left 2 carloads of stuff in the house, and left half the windows on my second floor OPEN. It got to -13 degrees that night and my windows were open. I called the company to complain and was told they would call me back. I waited a week, called again, was told they would call me back. Waited another 2 days, called back and was told "The movers don't open windows. They don't lock/unlock doors. It's your responsibility to make sure they remove everything from your house." I was told I could come in and have a meeting with the movers, I'm not entirely sure what that would accomplish since either they lied to management or management is lying to me. Manager at the company told me if I wasn't willing to watch the crew like hawks and basically be their supervisor I shouldn't have hired them. I wish someone had told me that before I paid them nearly $3000. Manager told me if I wanted to tell the world about my experience to go right ahead, and if I ever needed to be moved again to call Mayflower. I suggest you all do the same.
