I got 2 different piercings done at 2 separate times done by the piercer Nikki and a year later they're still not healed. I'm not a stranger to piercings and the aftercare that comes with it but these piercings were just clearly badly done. They were rushed and my neck piercing is too shallow in the skin. So much so that you can clearly see the metal shine under my skin in the light. It's still inflamed and infected, no matter how long i clean it for. My scaffolding piercing is still not healed either. I do think they were pierced with non sterling silver metal which is unclean and unacceptable. I asked other professional piercers and they all agreed that they were done incorrectly and were shocked at how poorly they were done. The rest of the staff were absolutely lovely. I've had friends who have had terrible experiences with Nikki because of her piercings and customer service. She messed up my friends nose piercing by piercing it sideways multiple times and then with another friend she gave out to her because she didn't believe her that she had gotten a piercing there and refused to charge her the standard piercing replacement charge, nearly bringing my friend to tears. Thankfully Dani helped out and made my friends feel better and charged them appropriately. Nikki seems to take her bad days out on paying customers. I definitely would not recommend Dublin Ink to anyone for piercings. (The tattoo artists are still amazing and I would gladly recommend them) read more

What a great experience. My mom and I were on vacation in Ireland and wanted to get a tatoo that reflected our time there. We had done some research online and walked into Dublin Ink on the one and only day we had in Dublin figuring that we wouldn't be able to get anything done with no appointment. We were greeted by Dani and she couldn't have been sweeter. She told us that Bruno just had a cancellation and he could do our tatoos right then! We couldn't believe it! Obviously it was meant to be. We knew we wanted to get them on our feet and Nikki gave us great advice on where to place them. We gave Bruno a necklace to use as a reference for what we wanted and he drew it up perfectly. While we waited for him to get prepared, Dani showed us some of his work. It was fantastic! He did an amazing job on our tatoos too. Exactly what we wanted and he even graciously listened to us tell him about all the places we had visited while we were Ireland. We even showed him a lot of the pictures of our trip too and may have convinced him to visit some new places he hadn't been able to visit yet! It was like hanging out with an old friend! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Bruno and the staff at Dublin Ink. Best Tattoo Studio in Dublin!!! Without a shadow of a doubt!!! I recently got a tattoo from the Boss of the tattoo world the incredibly talented Isnard Barbosa. His sheer concentration and dedication to creating a kick ass tattoo is out of this world. The whole session was an absolute Joy. Isnard knows his stuff and his sketches and use of line and colour is inspiring. I shared a many good laughs and having the best chats with Isnard for the whole session He is one of the coolest guy on the planet and his work is second to none. Highly recommend him. The staff at "Dublin Ink" where both welcoming and very approachable and the studio is spacious and comfortable and absolutely spotless. Very professional. The whole team where Friendly, honest, understanding, incredibly hardworking and had stamina to burn. A friend and I wanted to get our first tattoos done and had heard good things about Dublin Ink. From the minute we walked in we were talked down to. Two employees - a male and a female - were behind the desk and when my friend went up to ask about our tattoos, the girl responded by saying 'I have no idea what you are saying' and laughed. I then tried by saying 'sorry we were just wondering about prices' to which they responded rudely 'Yeah but what like what do you want? Piercing?? Tattoo??'. So we showed them the photos of the tattoos we wanted (both small enough) which they treated with disregard and barely discussed with us. When asked when we'd like to get them, we told them we'd like them today if we could. The girl again responded very rudely stating that there was no way we could get them today. We were told to come back later on to see if they could squeeze us in, but after that experience I did not feel comfortable going back to them, no matter how good the artists are. I feel that there is a certain way to treat your customers, regardless of whether it is their first tattoo or their 10th. read more

So I went back in to get my leg piece done. I'd sent the images and ideas to the person I'd been recommended by Shane, a guy called Isnard. My idea was complicated as it had a number of cultural references, and the reason I got the tattoo was very personal, so a lot of thought went in to why I was getting it done. Well I was gobsmacked. When I saw the finished sketch it was unbelievably beautiful. I can't reiterate enough the skill and talent of these lot. Their art alone is breath-taking. Their vision is to take the art of tattooing to a new level, and I really believe they are already succeeding. The studio is pristine. Their art is proudly displayed on the walls and if they aren't working they are sketching; in a world of their own. I have another two sessions to complete my piece. Got my first tattoo (7-hour chest session) there with Bruno Santos yesterday. Easily one of the best experiences of my life. All the staff is really friendly, really nice atmosphere and good music! As far as Bruno is concerned, he is easily one of the most insanely talented tattoo artists I've ever seen, though all artists in this shop make an incredible work (go and check the shop's Instagram page)! Everyone out there is really patient and takes care of their customers (additional heating when it's getting cold,...). Finally, all the artists are interested in each other's work, be sure that they're gonna come to watch you suffer and support you when you're going through too much pain ;) ! I went into the tattoo parlour today because I wanted to get a tattoo to commemorate my first trip overseas and my Irish roots. The place was busy but the girl at the desk answered my questions right away. They couldn't take me straight away but Kevin made time in his schedule for me about an hour later. I left him with a design that I wanted and when I came back he drew it up with some minor changes he thought would be better (which I agreed with) then did it up for me. He was quick, professional and most of all made the whole experience very comfortable. The tattoo turned out great and I love it!!! I can't wait to take it home to Canada and show it off. I was watching some of the other artists as well and they all do amazing work and make the sometimes painful process a little less painful for their clients. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and look after you. I faint easily when getting tattooed or pierced and they have always been so patient and kind. J'avais peur de tomber dans un vieux salon de tatouage creepy, en vrai l'ambiance est bonne, et les conditions d'hygiène respectées : les deux aiguilles qui ont été utilisées pour me percer étaient directement sorti de leur emballage plastique, de même pour les deux boucles d'oreilles qui m'ont été mises. I am visiting from Florida and have many tattoos but my experience at Dublin Ink was definitely most memorable! Not only is the entire group of artists extremely talented, but they went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcomed and comfortable! It was so refreshing to be tattooed by Feca and I'm assuming it is the same with the other artists after witnessing them tattoo as well, she is so gifted and cares deeply about what she does, it's a beautiful thing to experience an artists that cares for her work especially when it stays on your body! The experience in itself embodies what my Tattoo means "enjoy the journey" and enjoy I did! These guys have come along out of nowhere with huge egos and little skill...I know a girl that had a tattoo done here, she had asked for the writing "No regrets" BUT Leigh (the owner I might add) spelt it wrong ..spelling it "no regets" isn't that ironic?? They have mocked the work of other artists in the area...claiming their work is superior to anything else around...which is laughable considering the so called "artistry" that comes from this hilarious excuse of a tattoo shop. It is scandalous to mock other shops when they are the ones having to fix the mistakes made here...These boys should have respect for the people that have made this industry what it is today. I previously got a tattoo done by a guest artist Jonas now the tattoo is incredible but I had issues with them Changing the days after me getting time off work secondly I got a quote of 440 and when my tattoo was finished they charged me €650 for a small shoulder piece I couldn't believe it the tattoo artist took two hours to draw out my work and they charged me for that I was their from 12 until nearly 8 he didn't tattoo me until 2 and took many breaks threw out doing it which I didn't mind but one was half an hour next was 15 mins so on and one was to stop and talk to another person about their design for the next day I wanted to get my tattoo done and over with and then the price going up absolute joke!!! read more

Got my first tattoo two months ago by Kevin. I don't know if my pain tolerance is really high or his work is just plain awesome that I decided to have another one. So there, got my first two tattoos just one after the other. Didn't have any issue with sanitation. The entire process was smooth. What even delighted me was the fact that they use this Saniderm transparent patch to cover the tattoo, which has to stay for 5-6 days so you don't have to keep cleaning and changing every so often. Also, the lady at the reception was really kind. Forgot her name. Sorry. I already have a next design in mind and will definitely go back to Dublin Ink for it. I'm so happy I went to Dublin Ink for my backpiece. Could not be more happy with this place. Had a great consultation with the artist about exactly what I wanted and they gave me a very good price for it. When I came in for my appointment I wanted to make a few small changes to my tattoo and they didn't stop until we had perfected it, which really had me at ease. Was there for around 6 hours in total and the whole time the staff were super friendly and chatty. Definitely made being tattooed less painful when a group of lads are havin the chats with you. The hospitality and customer service is out of this world, everyone is so friendly and they just always manage to perfect whatever ideas I came in with and helped me to find a suitable artist or style. I've had two tattoos at this studio, one last summer of small/medium size done by a guest artist, and more recently a very small tattoo done by resident artist Kevin. Every time I've been in the shop for consultations and the appointments, or contacted them via email I have been so pleased with customer service! Every person I've interacted with has been very friendly and warm! The space is clean and open and very comfortable to be in! Both artists were fantastic and did amazing work! Walked in just wanting to get an idea on price and design ect. Was greeted by Danielle and Matt who were both very lovely, told them my idea and they were super supportive of it. I was then told that Isnard was free and could do it right now otherwise I'd have to wait a few weeks until an artist was free so I was straight in the chair getting my first tattoo.
