Please also check our chat history, some small jobs agreed for 120euro, fixed led ring holder, fridge light, cooker, Joe asked for 60euro deposit in the 1st place, then asked for another 20euro, paid him from on line transfer. Agreed get the job done for my tenant next day. Then next day he cancelled this appointment, try to rescheduled another time with my tenant. then he came back to me ask me for the remaining 40 Euro payment. at this point this guy haven't made a single visit to the apartment yet. He try to justify he gave me a very good price quote, i should have show him the appreciation pay ALL THE MONEY UPFRONT, i felt really uncomfortable with that, i told him to get the job done we will make the remaining payment. Then this guy start abusing said "who the fuck you think you are??? called him at the 1:30am, i didn't call him at 1:30am, only responsed to his miss call from whats app and texted you back. and then he says"you woke me up, fix your own cooker for cheap money", Try to leave it more messages on whats app i get Blocked, and tried to call also get blocked. I am currently away from Dublin , there is very limited i can do about this fraudster, when i come back i'll raise this matter to Garda Síochána , consumer's affairs. Hired this guy to complete a tiling job. The quality of the job was a shambles from start to finish. He said that he would work 10-6pm but worked about 3 hours per day. He always had an excuse to leave early. He asked initially what I wanted to pay for the job, which I didn't reply to. I didn't grasp it at the time but when the contract was terminated by me, he laughed in my face, "I did ask you if you wanted to pay a lot or a little, cheap job/ cheap quality work..." Hired to do some jobs around the jobs, agreed on a quote and gave him some cash to get materials, as he claimed he had no money to get that. Not only he did not get any materials, which I had to get in the end, he also kept that money. When I asked for it back, he said he had no money on him and when I told him about there being an ATM nearby, he just increased the price of the job on the spot and complained about not getting a tip. Here's another victim of this con artist... I has taken me a while to write this review as my experience was so upsetting... A couple of months ago I reached out to several tradesmen to take on a few jobs that I had around the house. Nothing too complex. Dave was the only one who responded. He gave me a quote which I had nothing to compare against and insisted that I put a deposit down so that he could book the job. On the day, he showed up 2 hours late and kept asking for tools that he didn't bring along... He finally started painting a room and when I went to check how he was progressing I found him standing on my furniture as he didn't bother bringing a ladder and I didn't have any. I was not exactly thrilled to see the floor and light switches covered in paint. When I mentioned it he acted like a bully saying that he was not going to put up with "woman like me who have no idea of what they are talking about". I was shocked when he said that he refused to finish the job and to return any money. I am certain that he did that mess on purpose to have an excuse not to work as he already had the money. After what happened I made some online research and came across this page. I found several other listings where he calls himself Dave, Alan or Joe. They all use the same email alldublinhandyman@gmail.com and phone numbers 0899859351 and 0899595076 and have a handful of positive reviews showing extravagant praise to trick people so seriously, stay away from this scammer! read more

Avoid! My elderly parents found this guy on Google. His name is Joe 089 959 5076 from Fairview, an Iranian man. She asked him for a quote he came to my parents house. And asked for a €350 deposit as he said people always cancel on him and he is left short. They hand over the €350, he says they will have to buy the materials themselves. He goes with my mother in his car to buy the materials, while there he asks her for €100 to buy a saw. He says this will be taken off the total bill. She gives him the money thinking he will buy it and get to work that day. Instead he drops her home and says he will come back tomorrow. He then says he has an appointment and can't come. After reading the below reviews my parents ring and cancel and ask for the money for the saw back. He says he will come and give them all their money back, when asked he tells us he never bought the saw, my parents wait for him to come and he doesn't show up. He has taken €450 from two pensioners without starting any work at all. Scammer! read more
