We heard a random pop and all the power in the apartment cut out. Turns out the timer on the immersion had blown and we had no hot water. I rang John up Sunday evening and he arrived by 8am today. He told me that our current timer had been recalled about 5 years ago (had no idea) and he could replace it as well as the cables as everything was burnt once he removed the timer cover (a bit scary, could have possibly started a fire!). I would thoroughly recommend John Rogers of myelectrician.ie. He responded quickly to a request to replace a fan in the downstairs bathroom. He notified me when he was 20 minutes away.
