The glowing reviews, informative website, and ability to communicate via text message for appointments is what got us through the door. I mentioned my partners fear which resulted in her not going to the dentist in almost 10 years (!) during the initial phone call to make an appointment. The entire staff was understanding, thoroughly explained everything step by step all to ensure my partner was 100% comfortable throughout the entire process. Dr. Shah's ability to connect with her patients, the family like dynamic with the entire staff, and the overwhelming amount of knowledge the entire team has is why I would recommend Dr. Shah's office to anyone! I couldn't be more grateful that my partner is no longer afraid to goto the dentist because of Dr. Shah and her amazing team!

He treats his staff with the upmost respect, creating a positive environment for everyone. His assistants only assist with Dr Goldstein in the room, compared to other offices where untrained assistants complete procedures without the doctor. I feel cared for on a personal level even though he is just one doctor doing everything! Dr Goldstein always has a positive attitude, he always makes jokes and sings little songs while working. It's hard to find a doctor who cares and does the most for his patients. You can tell that he does all of this for his patients and not for himself. He will give you an appointment out of his lunch break to accommodate, he will drive to the office if it's 12 in the morning to help with a lip injury to avoid any surgery in the ER, he calls patients the night of getting braces to check how their feeling, doesn't charge for missed appointments or broken braces. I could go on for years on how good of a doctor he is. If you're gonna get braces and you don't go to Dr. Goldstein expect to not see this level of care anywhere else.

I did not have a pcd chosen because my last dental experience was horrible and I basically have been neglecting my teeth since that visit two years ago. I'm so happy that I choose Brighter Dental. My visit on Monday was quick and to the point. I did not wait long to be seen after arriving. My xray technician was so professional and pleasant. I believe her name is Camille. She was patient and I could tell that she wanted to make sure I was comfortable. Dr. Lyons looked at my teeth and gave some recommendations. I was lucky enough to get an appointment for an extraction 2 days later. I was so nervous leading up to the procedure. I've had 3 prior extraction experiences. The two where I was awake were super painful and I was expecting it to be the same way. I was completely wrong. Dr. James Kang is the GOAT!!!. I felt nothing. He said my roots were very deep but again zero pain!! He has great bedside manners and I felt very at ease and comfortable during the entire procedure. I highly recommend the office to anyone in doubt.

Dr. Viechnicki is has probably the greatest bed side manner of any doctor I've ever met in my entire life hands down! I'm not sure how he always manages to be so unimaginably calm and gentle and reassuring, but he never fails. He explains all the procedures in detail at every visit and is more than happy to answer any questions. My son absolutely adores him and appreciates the fact that he always tells him what's going on during the adjustments and prepares him when he might do something that might hurt. Kayleigh at the front desk is incredible as well and worked extra hard to make sure I am getting the most from my insurance. She is always friendly and helpful and was incredibly accommodating the one time I needed to come in for an unscheduled appointment to fix a brace that had come loose. There are also fun little touches that the staff does like "coins" earned for each appointment, "guess the # of candy" contests and meticulously writing up each kid's name on the front board during their birthday month. I've take both my kids to Smilelogic (My first son was thrilled with how his teeth turned out) and I've never had a bad visit. I couldn't recommend them any more highly :)

There is poor communication between the front and back staff, with appointments being changed last minute even after confirmation. We are also notified at the last minute of a change in charges that were never clearly explained upfront, and different staff give different answers. As a manager at a major dental insurance company, I recommend parents choose a practice where transparency, communication, and children truly come first.

The woman who initially answered the phone rudely told me she couldn't see my child at that office and they couldn't open a new chart for her and tried to dismiss me; this was specifically after being told by the North Brunswick office that the treatment my daughter needed could only be done in the Greenbrook location. After calls going back and forth between North Brunswick and Greenbrook, Greenbrook finally called and said they would see my daughter, but I had to register her as a new patient, for whatever reason they would not transfer her file. It finally comes time to make her appointment and there are insurance issues. The office was completely unhelpful in trying to resolve them. The issue is finally resolved, and I made an appointment for my daughter two weeks or more ahead of schedule. I called to confirm the appointment, confirm the insurance, and let them know a different family member would be taking her. My family member showed up with my daughter only to be told they wouldn't see her- again because of insurance. When I called to find out what was going on, I asked to speak to the office manager or the person who handled the insurance, which I know to be a woman. Instead, after some whispering the young man who answered the phone came back on claiming to be said person. I was then told that someone tried to contact me and cancel the appointment but my mailbox was full. There were NO MISSED CALLS of any kind, my voicemail box WAS NOT FULL, and even if that were the case there is a secondary number and email to reach me. Smile Express knew full well their contract with HBCBS would be ending September 1, and my appointment was scheduled for September 2. Their attempt to contact me was on August 29th. This office is full of nothing but disrespectful liars and I pray that no one continues to use them.
