Noticed bartender do 2 shots with otheŕ patrons and then cut off myswlf and company after 2 beers and 2 shots between 2 people

I've been stalking Dubbs live music offerings to see when there'd be a group I'd like to see. Friday night they had Funken Jazz. If you like old '70s funk jams, this is a great group to see. I got there around 7:30 before the band started and parked myself at a small high top table next to the pillar which is about in the middle of this place. (I'm glad I did because once the band started the crowd quickly grew.) While the band was doing a soundcheck the bartender came over and took my drink order. She mentioned if I wanted food that there was a food truck in their parking lot where I could order Mexican food and pay for it. (I could then come back inside and the people from the food truck would bring my order to me.) I hesitated for a moment because I had a good seat for seeing the band and was afraid it would be taken if I left the place. But once she brought my drink I figured that would show that someone was sitting at that table. At the food truck I ordered chips and queso, paid and went back to my table. Shortly they brought my food. The place has a long bar to the right when you enter (at the north east corner of the building). Then there are a few high top tables to the left. Between the stage (on the south end of the room) and the high top tables is a pool table. There is another table and some video games near the south exit to the enclosed patio. The management was nice enough to close off the one pool table that was between the audience and the stage so we could enjoy the music undistracted. Once the band started playing a lot of 40, 50 and 60 somethings came to listen and dance. It was a good crowd, great music and an enjoyable time. I'd go again the next time they have a group I want to see. read more

This little Pub has turned up. If you have not visited in a while it is time. Saturday nights Halloween party was turned up. the Band was awesome. Everyone in the place was having a good time. Staff were on top of keeping the drinks flowing. This is for sure my Saturday hang out with all the live bands that are booked. read more

It started out to be a good afternoon but the owner showed up and she pretty much told me to stop laughing because I was too loud. She then went on to make me and my husband very uncomfortable with the side glances and mumbled words under her breath to other patrons. The bartender Taylor was friendly and attentive and I feel bad for his boss being so judgmental to my presence in her bar. I will not go back because of the owner being rude. So sad because every other time I have been here I have had fun and enjoyed the company. F#@/ the owner!!!!! read more

If you don't go there every night then you'll be way overcharged if you want to pay five dollars a beer at a local dive then go there there's at least three or four places up down Broadway. They have a way better price on drinks. read more

It's a dive, and that's the appeal I think. Whenever I show up, there seems to be karaoke and the deep/drunk conversations only strangers in a dive bar can have, which are always fascinating. They're also the first bar I've seen in years with a cigarette vending machine. That's a novelty in 2018. The bartenders surely do know how to make a strong drink, as well. read more

I love Dubbs Pub! Just a mile from my house, I walk in and I'm always greeted with a welcome. I have some really fun times here. I don't really understand all the negative reviews about the building and the decor. I mean, come on people, its a dive bar, what do you expect?! Anyways, Dubbs offers karaoke, pool tables, foosball and a nice back patio where you can smoke. During happy hour, Stella and Shock top are only $3. They serve the Stella out of chilled glasses, its fantastic. The service has always been great, the bartenders are really friendly and I enjoy talking to them at the bar. I came out here tonight because the person I was with had cabin fever and needed to get out of the house. I said, sure why not? I love karaoke and I love a new place where I can try out stuff to see if it sucks or not so my regular bar doesn't have to suffer. Low and behold, this place was a train wreck. First things first, a glass of Coke was $3. Serously, who do they think they are? The Fillmore? It's cheaper to drink terrible beer but I won't stoop to the bargain bin of beers unless someone buys for me and then seriously, don't waste your cash. Second, the karaoke book had a mediocre selection at best. Sure there were a few standards, but a majority of my favorites were missing. For a place that has it 4 nights a week, they need a better selection. Lastly, what was that train wreck of a woman that I saw in there? Seriously, she was wearing sweats with her butt crack hanging out, a tank top type shirt that allowed her gut to hang out and show her tattoo that may or may not have been coming from below the belt.....and I am also positive she didn't quite make it to the bathroom. It hadn't become a urine stain yet, but as soon as it dried it would. Now I must go and get that horrible vision out of my head. How much bleach do you need to wash with to get that site gone? I'm sure I'll get dragged back to this place but I'd rather get punched in the eye than suffer this train wreck again. read more

Three words: Trailer Park Bar. Apparently, this small bar has karaoke 7 days a week. I checked this place out this past Friday with a few friends and although it was busy and full of people, the quality was lacking. Within five minutes of sitting down at our table, some inbred goomba sprayed a can of beer all over my left shoulder. The reception for the TV screens that displayed the karaoke words was quite bad. The music selection seemed decent, but the sound system wasn't all that great. I felt like we were being stared at by the entire bar. I guess it was because we weren't wearing wife beaters, sports jerseys, or muffin top t-shirts with tight pants and we had all of our original teeth/hair. We lasted all of 10 minutes here before running each other over in a race to get the hell out of this place. read more

Dubb's Pub is a small yet obnoxious bar in the seediest part of Littleton, it's also the closest bar to my seedy little apartment on my seedy little street. Are we getting the point yet? Being famous for bad decision making skills, I entered this black eye of my neighborhood a few years back. To my delight, I actually had a good time. It's nice when you walk into a place and instantly feel better about yourself because you are NOT that lush at the end of the bar hitting on the vending machine. After being served a fairly cheap and fairly strong drink in a fairly timely manner, I had settled into the corner by the pool tables, I always prefer to have two walls to my back at this bar. A few cocktails and shots later, I found myself watching Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart" get butchered by what looked like a female doing karaoke. It was fascinating, it was disgusting, it was....Dubb's Pub. I have since gone back many times due to my low self-esteem and always leave intoxicated, slightly more broke, and definitely with a smile on my face. I make karaoke part of my routine since the crowd at Dubb's doesn't really have too many decent singers. I believe this is a direct result of severe alcoholism and developing lung/throat cancer. With that in mind, I certainly don't care about my lack of vocal prowess and continue to put on a show with Billy Idol and Megadeth hits. On occasion, if whiskey is involved, I might even try to hit the notes of "Jet City Woman" by Queensryche. All in all, Dubb's is purposeful. Whether you are a mid-20s college dropout or a down on your luck biker with 3 teeth and 4 fingers, Dubb's is for you!!! read more

This is a absolute dump,that hasnt remolded or even touched up the place since the 1960s or 70's.The worst part is the old fat,mean owner.I guess her daughter works as a bartender too.The owner also lets her 7-8y/o grandson hang out behind the bar,horseplaying with the staff on a Saturday night. What a horrible grandmother!! The draft beer tastes flat. The Mens bathroom is extremely small,dirty,and scummy! Ever walk into a bar and feel as if everyone is looking at you and wondering why you just strolled in? That is how you feel walking into the dive that is Dubb's. The place itself is pretty okay. It has lots of nick nacks all over and photo's behind the bar. The service was quite good. We saddled up to the bar and a very attentive and attractive bartender served us right away. She told us a little history of the place and also pointed out her stalker who brings her a flower almost every night. This made me laugh off my stool. The rest rooms are a riot all spray painted and tagged. Overall quite a dump but one I will go back to again. read more

Extremely rude staff...I went there because I saw them in two local Denver films..thought they were cool..got there and it sucked so bad....I will never go back..especially when I saw a film crew come in that had filmed there before.....and the owner was rude as hell.......will never go back.....and I talked to the film crew they were cool as hell! It's fun to stop in, play pool & have a beer. About 12 of us went Saturday evening for a birthday celebration & karaoke. We had a great time but the karaoke DJ is so very boring and definitely not engaged with the audience. I'm a karaoke junkie and always on the look out for a fun night of singing and this place goes at it 7 NIGHTS A WEEK!! Some friends and I decided to try this place out one night and we had a blast!! It truly is a run of the mill trailer trash redneck bar as the prior reviewer stated but if you're a good ole country boy or girl or just love those kind of folks then this is the place to go!! I've driven by this place thousands of times but never stopped. A friend that lived close by had a birthday during a snow storm so they decided to go there since it was so close. I like dive bars. This place is a dive bar. Good service, cheap drinks, probably the most talented kareoke singers ever - and i dont do kareoke. It surprises me with all of these one and two star reviews. I dont think people understand what a good dive bar is anymore. There are a lot of "hipster friendly" dive bars on Broadway, and downtown etc. This place is a real dive bar...with real dive bar patrons. Its like PBR before PBR became the cool thing to drink. I live close to this bar and was skeptical to try it out based on appearance, but I went with a few friends who had been before and had a great time! The drinks were great, I asked for a spicy bloody mary and she made it perfectly. There is karaoke and pool tables. Perfect for anyone looking for a dive bar, and the drinks aren't over priced. The only reason this place has survived is because they're beating the system. The bartenders and bouncers are paid under the table. Just Within the last year or two they started accepting credit cards. Don't dare ask for a receipt. You'll be asked to leave and sent with a handwritten receipt that has tally marks. Ghetto!!! And don't question anything on your bill or the "Owner" will pull her sweatshirt up off her waist and try to get one of her regulars at the end of the bar to escort you out. Surprised the IRS hasn't figured this place out yet. Just because you wear Miss Me jeans doesn't mean you're not trailer trash. Good luck with your business but being rude to the wrong person might cost you. Had to get the wife's Toyota serviced across the street. I saw all the bad reviews and was ready to see if they were still the same. Tami was my bartender.....she is a true Goddess! Funny and on the job with a great attitude. Love her! The patrons were funny and engaging to the new guy. I won't change dealer locations after this simply not to have any excuse not to come back. meh. glad i had good company while we visited dubbs or it might have been a huge miss. Things I like about Dubbs: chill relaxed environment. Some of the locals there were really sweet and open to new people in their space. the karaoke was super fun and good selection of songs to sing. Lots to do here. They have Foosball, big dance floor, lots of games and pool! Things I don't like about the bar: the bartender. He was really nice at first and super sweet- remembered my drink order etc. Well when it was time to close my tab. My bill was over $60!! I was the only one on my tab except for a Coors light or 2 i bought for my BF. OK- I was drinking vodka sodas w/ splash of cranberry and only had 5. Why was my tab $60?!! So i paid it happily and didn't want to make a scene. Was struggling on what to tip seeing as I felt like I had been ripped off. So i kept scratching out the tip, but finally decided on a total of something like $73. I was pissed. Told my group i was with. My friend insisted we go ask to see it itemized. Well, they don't "itemize" they just keep a running tally mark on a piece of paper. REAL SMART So there were the 5 vodka sodas with cran and then mysteriously like 7 other drinks. they didn't even have the name just $5 and tally marks etc. We kinda tried to fight it (more my friend than me) because i only had like 5 of the Vodka crans . . . well they were like we cant help you, sorry. RUDE! then after he was trying to punch my final payment in, couldn't read the tip amount, came over all huffy like "what does this say?!" UGH! i didn't want to leave a tip and prob will never go back. Unless they get a better bartender and maybe the owner doesn't let her snobby teenager work there. END of story. ugh read more

My husband likes to stop here for a couple of beers because it is literally on his way home from work. He will call me and ask me to meet him there. I generally decline. Most of these reviews are spot on. This is one of the worst dumps I have every been in. It doesn't even qualify as a Dive! More than once, my husband left a cash tip but because he didn't write cash on the tip line when he signed his cc slip, the bartender decided she was entitled to add her own on top off the cash. Now I make sure he gives me all his receipts from there so I can compare it to my statement. I have NEVER had good service here. You're lucky to get service at all unless you're a regulare. It is dirty and dark and hasn't been updated in at least 25 years. The bartenders don't have a clue how to make the old standard drinks, side car, rob roy, etc. we have named it Skankville! read more

Had a blast here but I was in good company. Bring your own friends, kind of place. If you are a regular, I witnessed amazing service. However, if you are like me and only been there a few times, there are a few things to be expected. For example, the lack of service you receive, how many times you sing, and the overall friendliness of the staff lacks. I waited ten minutes at the bar for a Sprite and a water while other people around me would walk up and wait two minutes for three cocktails. I actually gave up and walked away and didn't purchase anything at the bar because I never got served. Plus standing next to the creepos that were plastered and taking inappropriate pictures of the staff, it just wasn't worth it. I guess they didn't want my money. Preparty before this place, great to end the night with. Again, Bring your friends. Good company makes a huge difference. read more

What is wrong with everyone here who gave a bad review? I'm guessing the woman that got thrown out twice was thrown out for a good reason. The staff here is nothing BUT polite and nice. And as for negative comments about the quality of the karaoke singers, get a life! My God! Do you really think you'd sound so great if you got the courage to get up and sing?
