I had contractors come in to repair some of the damage caused (not all) which was higher than the value of the work he did. I still offered to pay him something to at least cover materials when he seemed reasonable about what had happened. This has resulted in insults and possibly threats from him on how he would get his money back. Response to owner: nice mix of truths and outright lies. I've sent over the full cost of the drywall repairs for him to see. The cost I told to him was only for the excessive damage he caused. Not even all of the damage he caused. He never told my wife about the holes in the roof she just happened to be around when they started panicking but she wasn't sure what was going on. I checked later after she told me something fishy had happened and I had to call him after he left for him to acknowledge the holes in the roof.

They open very early in the morning (7:30am) which is nice for stressed out folks like us! We spoke with Rick and explained the situation. He was able to schedule an appointment for 4:00pm later that day. Rick showed up right on time, 4 o'clock on the DOT, and called my hubby for more information on what what happening in mom's home. He went downstairs and checked her circuit breaker and after less than five minutes of investigating he already knew the issue. It was the line outside on the pole, which is an AEP problem. Not only did he call AEP for my mother and arrange for them to fix the outage, but he provided us with the ticket number so we could track the progress. On top of all the good news, he also only charged us a minimal fee for his services. We were so relieved and appreciative and cannot say enough good things about this company. We have some electrical issues at our house that we have been putting off over fear of getting taken advantage of, but it's comforting to know we have a reliable, honest electrician to call now! After hiring him (only because he dropped his price last minute), the job turned into a mess. He didn't have the proper materials or tools, left multiple times for hours with no updates, and at one point couldn't even complete a key part of the job we ended up finishing that portion ourselves. Despite all the delays being caused by his lack of preparation, he still added an extra $50 to the agreed price at the end. Poor communication, wasted time, and didn't honor his quote. Save yourself the headache and go with someone more reliable.
