I recently visited Ds Lin Garden in Kissimmee and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the 4-piece whole wings with house fried rice, and everything was fresh and flavorful. The wings were perfectly cooked crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and the fried rice had a great mix of textures and taste. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and has a clean, inviting atmosphere. A classic neighborhood Chinese store, this place is a beloved staple of the community. Conveniently located near the local grocery store it's a perfect place to grab dinner before or after shopping. They offer up some timeless Chinese-American classics, orange chicken, general tso's, chicken teriyaki. And the quality of their food is top-notch! It all tastes amazing every time we order! Talk about hidden gem !! We're in town from TX at Disney and we're looking for some Chinese food. Tried a place a rocks throw away and it was take out only. We started with some Crab Rangoon's - don't let the fact that they come out as triangles fool you - they are DELICIOUS!! I thought I should have ordered two orders but when the food came out I was glad I didn't!!! HUGE PORTIONS... my wife had the egg drop soup - was good - didn't have any veggies in it (mushrooms, peas... we've had it that way before) but still good and the triple delight which she really liked. I had the chicken garlic from the combination menu and it was ON POINT!!! Huge pieces of chicken so tender and scrumptious!! I added hot oil cause "me like it caliente " came with a fatty egg roll. My son had the General Sao, my daughter the Sesame Chicken and they all came with the pork fried rice which was sooooo good!!! AND to top it all off the you g lady serving us was SO SO SO nice and helpful!! She attended us perfectly and left a pitcher of water and coke on the table for us so we had plenty to wash it down. FINALLY! We finally found a Chinese restaurant that tastes good and is delicious. The Wanton Soup had a great stock and the wantons were well filled and weren't soggy. The fried rice was very tasty, so much so that I didn't even need to add soy sauce. My boyfriend even loved the Sweet & Sour Chicken, he ordered. The egg rolls had great taste, luckily they weren't like all the other gross egg rolls that so many restaurants have been selling the last few years. Even their Fortune Cookies were fresh and fun to eat. Will make sure to eat here again. We are so happy to find a Chinese Restaurant that isn't substandard, like so many have become. Every time we come here and order the Peking duck we always get the side of sauce with it. The one time we forget to check the food they forget it. Our house is 30 minutes away and I'm not going all the way back for sauce. We call to ask about it and the guy says it's not supposed to come with it. I find it to be extremely unprofessional not to answer your business phone 20 min before you close. If you are not taking orders then pick up the phone & say just that. Long time customer and the recent raise of prices has me going elsewhere. The food hasn't been as good as it has been in years. I came from NY and a long time transplanted NewYorker recommended this place. It's the worst excuse for Chinese food I have ever had. The rice had no taste and looked like Spanish yellow rice with onions and peas. The only difference was neither of these items had any flavor! The boneless ribs were hard and about the only flavor there was was sweetness. I had ordered the lunch special with shrimp fried rice for which they charged me an extra dollar I paid almost $8 a plate.
