No, it's not an English themed pub, but it is a very good Southeast Texan sports bar. They have plenty of beer and liquor options, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I've been going to this bar since I moved to Texas from North Carolina (best state ever.. oops did I let that slip in?, don't worry Texas is a very close 2nd) back in 2008. Sometimes you get lucky and there's food but if you go at night it's probably been sitting out all day so I would not recommend eating it at that point. I will say that the bartender I have had a slight problem because depending on which one it is if you go and try to close out or get a drink she will get the order for the woman before the man even if they're there at the same time. Because me and my husband's friend each went to go close at our tabs before all of us left and she closed out my tab before she even got his and after she handed me my receipt to sign she walked off and started pouring more drinks which is honestly honestly rude.

We waited 10 minutes for the bartender to stop flirting with the guy sitting next to us, then the bar tender decided to ID my wife right there for a non alcoholic beverage. My wife forgot her ID and we were asked to leave quite rudely. I spoke to the owner and he said this was their policy and blew me off. Basically my issue is the fact that this business obviously has a policy that they do not know how to enforce. If everyone in the bar needs to show their ID then they need a door man. Realistically if I had gotten the drink for her or she decided not to drink that night then we wouldn't have been asked to leave.
