We did not even know they were planning to start until coming home to equipment in our driveway. Then, equipment broke down on first day of actual work, rendering our drive blocked for 2 days. This after no-showing the initial start date. The project manager was MIA for over a week without any communication, just unreachable. They eliminated part of the job without discussion, which was the right decision but did not reduce price and was not even a conversation. The project manager offered free sealing to accommodate for the inconveniences and lack of communication. Once the job was complete, he insisted they could only be paid cash/Venmo, despite having my paid-in-full check in hand. He stated his bank was unable to process a deposit due to another large deposit from a separate job. It made no sense, but I wanted to be kind. After being paid in full via Venmo, he requested I recall the payment to avoid fees. After several weeks of back and forth, awaiting my refund from Venmo, I paid him cash. He assured me the company would be in touch to schedule promised sealing. There was no call. I reached out, attempting to schedule the sealing. They completely ghosted me, only responding when threats of contacting BBB were made. They never sealed the drive. The process began well (seemed trustworthy), but ended with a feeling of having been ripped off and repeatedly lied to.

The wall was done quickly and the quality is good per our building inspector, though he did say there were a few things he would've done differently. It is warrantied for 5 years. Shortly after the wall was finished, I provided the final payment with the understanding the job would be finished the following day. Two months later, after rescheduling 5 times for​ many reasons, the driveway patch was done yesterday. They resealed the driveway for free for our inconvenience. I paid $9500 for all work done. I booked my appointment vía Yelp and received a confirmation within 24 hours. About 10 days later, when it became apparent that we weren't going to be ready on our original moving day, I called and asked to reschedule. Ethan accommodated me immediately and sent me a second confirmation without any hesitation. On the day of our move the gigantic truck rolled up 15 minutes ahead of schedule and the guys got to work! And damn, did they work HARD! I was only 95% ready for them so I kept packing up the last minute things while they hauled ass up and down the flight of stairs to our second floor apartment. They took one 15 minute break (No complaints from me! They deserved that, and more!) and then went back to work. At the end of FOUR HOURS the truck was packed and we were off to the new location. The guys grabbed an incredibly fast lunch in between places and were back on the job in less time than it took for Ethan to park the truck where he wanted it and have a look around. They worked for THREE MORE HOURS - again, up and down the stairs - and even took the time to make sure our boxes got to the right rooms. The whole time they worked I didn't hear a single complaint; not even an annoyed look or tone of voice. If they complained behind our backs...WHO CARES?! They kept every interaction professional and pleasant. (If our positions had been reversed I'd have been crying the whole day because I'm weak and old! ) The whole experience was great, from beginning to end. When it was done I felt like my "thank you so much" didn't even begin to express the extent of our gratitude for the amazing job they did. The final price was reasonable and we chose to tip each guy $30 for their exceptional work. In talking to someone later, I discovered that it's not typical to tip movers and all I can say is WHY NOT?! They're working their butts off and I could never have done the move without them! When our house was ready they moved my items to my house. I was nervous about storing our items thar long but i was pleasantly surprised there were no odors or bugs or damage. Very happy!
