Can't go wrong with donuts! We came here because we found it on an app our neighbors told us about. We placed our order & headed there. It's a decent size place. Some seating & they sell lottery there too! Parking was good. Staff & service was friendly. Just a typical counter & donut shop setup, which allow ease to order. Pick up for donuts was easy & there's a variety of donuts to choose from too. Kids enjoyed the donuts & we were able to share with our neighbors too. read more

Was going to give 3/5, however decided to bump it to 4/5 because of the amount of food. When I first got there, (at 10:15 AM), no one was there and I had to wait at the counter for about 30 seconds before anyone showed up. When someone did show up, it only appeared one person was working, which isn't a negative at that hour for a doughnut shop. The doughnuts seemed to not have much variety for selection but to be fair it was later in the morning. It was fairly warm for that part of the day and obvious there was no air conditioning. I used the too good to go app and was able to secure an entire pink package of doughnuts (about 8 in total) for about 6 bucks which is an amazing deal. The doughnuts were stored in a refrigerator so when I got them, they were cold. I couldn't tell if they were made that day or before based on the refrigeration. I'd buy again if I used the app again, but I wish the doughnuts were not served cold. read more

I visited D's Donuts this week in preparation for a group event. I explained our needs and the staff were extremely kind and gracious, generously providing me with a wonderful selection of donuts for the dads and children attending our event. The donuts were fresh, faithfully and artfully prepared, and boxed and sold with a kindness. The shop is small but the heart and the service are very large indeed! Sooo delish! My husband and I love this hidden gem. It's family-owned, and you can feel the care in everything they do. We highly recommend the ham and bacon croissant sandwich, they use the best kind of cheese for it iykyk. The donuts are always fresh, and the employees are so sweet. The service was great and I hate to leave a bad review because there are real humans who work here, but I also have to be a true voice to the people! If you're looking for a GOOD donut, this place is not it. I could tell as soon as I walked in the door -- the chocolate they use looks like a thick version of Hershey's syrup (you know the kind -- it's watery). And the dough just tasted blah. Who doesn't like a donut?!?! This donut shop has all your typical donuts plus some with lucky charms and other cereals on top. We love supporting this small business because the staff their are always super friendly. We often are given a couple extra donuts holes for our kids. On top of the donuts being good, their smoothies are delicious and their Thai tea tastes kinda like a lucky charms smoothie, maybe that is just me. This is our go to donut place and it will be for a long time. read more

Sweetest old lady running this place, she has the characteristics of the grandma I wish I had and her doughnuts are always fresh. Years ago I came here because my pregnant friend had a craving for a particular doughnut - there was a man working and after realizing they were completely out he made me a couple of doughnuts with pink frosting and sprinkles just how she craved them. He was the sweetest thing, told me he would do it just because she was pregnant and didn't want to leave her with the craving. read more

Picked up doughnuts here one morning to take into work... Many of them didn't make them to work. Das doughnuts is a mom and pop type store but while I was picking up my dozen mixed and bag of doughnut holes (10 cents each, BTW!) I saw at least 5 people come in who seemed to be regulars and that says a lot about a doughnut shop! After I workout enough to burn the calories from my last doughnut splurge/have an event at work to take doughnuts to, I will definitely be stopping here! read more

Weak. The other day went in for a coffee, noticed the coffee tasted burnt and noticed two coffee pots on the burners, one full and one close to empty. Asked her which one she gave and she said the empty pot. Told her that it was burnt and would appreciate it if I get coffee from the fresh pot, she gave me a huff and puff, rolled her eyes and gave me a fresh cup. On other occasions I've seen her dump the stale coffee pot into the freh pot. Cheap ass. Never going back again, should have stuck to dunkin donuts. read more

They are in a very small strip mall with a small lot so parking is limited. There is some street parking on the side streets relatively close by. They (the bakery) either also have a deli or it is merely adjoined to it. Seating is limited in both areas, but probably more capacity than the lot permits. The people in both the bakery and deli were super friendly. They have a good selection of donuts/bakery products. Their baked goods are very sweet. The apple fritter was super sweet, but you could still taste the apples. It was crunchy on the outer ring and soft in the center--just the way a good fritter should be. The blueberry fritter had a different shape from a traditional apple fritter, but similar texture and sweetness to the apple. You could barely taste the blueberries. The banana fritter was similar in size, sweetness, and texture to the blueberry and so not a traditional fritter like the apple. Overall, the apple was best on this visit, but all three are worth a try. The bacon-maple curler was better than the blueberry and banana fritters, but the apple fritter is still my favorite. Their powdered sugar donut holes are about standard. They were fine, but not as good as the other items. They are also not as sweet, so are a good option if you want a smaller portion and/or something not too sweet--you can order them by the piece. Only strange thing was the bathroom. The deli needs to buzz you into the toilet and once inside then you need to press a button on the wall to buzz yourself out! The area does not look like it, but guess they must have a major homeless problem to do such a thing. At any rate, this was an awesome bakery that was worth the super long drive to go try. According to other Yelpers who live nearby, they do sell out of various items as the day goes on. So if planning to go later in the day, call ahead earlier and ask them to save what you want for you--I did this and they saved the three fritter types for me. They had plenty when I arrived, but would have been super bummed to drive so far to get nothing if they had run out. If you are in the area and want a sweet treat, definitely check these guys out!

We ordered a dozen donuts, plus the fritter and two dozen donut holes. Maria was super friendly and helpful and patient as we stood there trying to decide what to get as it was our first time seeing their donut selection. We got regular glazed, old fashion, two types of blueberry donuts, a tiger tail, a cookie and cream (which was very small), a sprinkle donuts, a chocolate donut and a crumble donut. Definitely a variety to try. The total of $27 something (extra charge for card). The banana fritter is good. There's a slight artificial after taste after a few bites but it's still a good fritter. The rest of the donuts were good too, basic and simple for the kids. I didn't see any ham and cheese and jalapeño ham and cheese croissants, just regular plain ones. Not sure if I missed it or it's something you have to order separately and not premade like other donut shops, or maybe it was out since we got there at 930am but that's usually my go to grab & so it was another minor disappointment for me. I got the smoked brown sugar latte which was tasty. If you taste the foam by itself it's very smokey but with the drink it's well balanced. Another reviewer mentioned "coffee grounds" in their drink - pretty sure these are particles from the syrup/smokey flavor. I had them too and drank them, weren't bitter at all so pretty sure they aren't coffee grounds. I also got a croissant which I would agree with another reviewer was a bit dry, possibly a day old. Somewhat limited menu which I hope they expand in the future. Paid about $13 for coffee and pastry. There is a 3% surcharge for credit card. Unfortunately seating is somewhat limited and not the most comfy. Probably a maximum of 20 people can sit inside at once with one small table outside. There are tons of outlets accessible from every seat and they even have extension cords set up for customers. It's moderate to loud and the music/vibe is more rock and grunge. Very friendly service. Small parking lot but street parking available, no time limits. Currently NO bathroom available. Free WiFi available. You can study/work here briefly given the WiFi and outlets but can't stay longer given lack of bathroom and limited seating They sell merch including beans from Iron & Kin for $22 with a roast date within 1 month. Also, the menu doesn't include any descriptions of what's in the ice cream flavors, this would be extremely helpful (especially because I don't think most would expect Cookie Monster to taste like banana).
