Several other electrical companies charged over $100 just to come out and do an estimate before even doing any work - I found this to be ridiculous and decided to go with "James Morrow Electrician and Handyman." I can tell you right away that I made a solid decision as that Jim did a great job from the gecko! He was very responsive, professional and explained everything he is going to do over the phone so that I felt comfortable with choosing him as a professional. When he arrived, he was very respectful to the property. He did not mind me watching him install the electrical outlets in my home and explain how the whole system works. Jim did a fantastic job of eliminating one of my existing electrical outlets and moving it up. He also installed a new GFI outlet in my bathroom so that I can hook up my beloved Japan-style bidet toilet. Overall Jim is very knowledgeable and experienced in his electrical work, as well as very meticulous in little details. He takes pride in his job from start to finish to ensure the job is done right the first time. I felt very comfortable with Jim and "James Morrow Electrician and Handyman." Thank you Jim and I will definitely be using this business for any and all the future electrical work around the house. You can be rest assured that the "James Morrow Electrician and Handyman" is on my speed-dial if any future projects or issues arise. I am very glad that I found a local business that I can trust.

We purchased a whole house backup generator from Monyer in January 2024. Dealing with Nate on the…read morequote & detais was very professional. The install happened over the course of two days; there was a delay in their arrival on the first day, but that was understandable given that a big rainstorm had happened the previous day and many roads were closed. I had to meet them and get them to my house with back roads that luckily were open. The installation team completed the job mostly as expected. A part was not available and had to be installed at a later time, but that went flawlessly. About two months ago the generator reported an error. I was able to schedule a maintenance service with Monyer, though it was delayed as they were short-staffed. In spite of this, the technician arrived two weeks earlier than scheduled, much to my delight. His testing indicated a regulator needed to be replaced. Though it took some time, the office staff was able to accommodate my scheduling needs, and the part was installed yesterday under warranty. Much to my surprise, the generator has actually kicked on several times throughout the spring & summer following storms which caused power outages. In all cases the turnon & turnoff worked perfectly, and we actually had power when some of our neighbors did not. This left us wondering what had taken us so long to get such a generator installed. I would recommend Monyer for your backup generator needs.

Ouch! I asked if…read moreMr. Electric was a small business and was told it was. I foolishly assumed Mr. Electric was family owned or owned by an individual in that I prefer to give business to small businesses. At the time of service with a the arrival of a snazzy truck, I asked again and was told it is a small business and is family owned but it's a franchise. The work was done well by a skillful technician. In my opinion the price was extremely high for the work that was done. I did not get multiple estimates, again my fault, thinking the business was family or privately owned. I have yet to get a receipt, breaking down the costs of equipment and labor. perhaps it's lost in my spam folder. A lesson learned for sure to be more diligent and ask ample questions. I will not be using Mr. Electric again. Lesson for readers, be smarter than me!

This company deserves negative stars. We built our house with landmark and Mr. Electric was the…read moresubcontractor for the electrical work. We worked directly with Tom "TJ" (one of the owners) and Travis. Travis did our walk through where we add additional outlets and lighting. He forgot to include at least 12 items in total through out the house. It really isn't all that complicated to mark the wall and write it down. I politely messaged pictures of the areas missing outlets to TJ through his provided contact and he texted me instead of his employe. Rather than take responsibility for an employee who cannot perform his job, he insults his customer... pretty pathetic honestly. We were initially planning on having them back for many projects. Obviously they lost our business. Landmark was appalled and very apologetic. They were sent the entire conversation. -We closed 3 months ago and they have still yet to install our floor outlet. When you call they say "we will call back with an appointment" and don't. - never installed tv outlet outback. Had to come back. (To name a few) A very long laundry list short- spare yourself the headache and babysitting and go elsewhere.
