Ended up joining up to the annual pass today as its only £7.95 per month and includes unlimited visits, priority entry, 10% discount from the cafe, four (one-off) guest passes and a refund the entry for th day you join. Considering the price without membership it is definitely worth it, it would have cost my daughter and I £15 today so it is already cost effective! Great day out for kids (especially when weather is bad) lots to keep them entertained, soft play, bumper cars, ball pit and a huge slide. The cafe offers the basics such as kids meal/small hot mealsd, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, crisps, juices, tea/coffee etc, pricey but does the job when in need. Toilets are plentiful and usually clean and tidy. Tables and chairs are set to one side so adults can relax while watching the kids, although in peak times they get filled very quickly. I'd advise you to book during holidays/weekends as it can get very busy with queues out the door. Would highly recommend for anyone with young kids.

The participants are taken downstairs to a cellar like place with pillars and hiding places. The session consists of two teams, red and blue, who are equipped with a jacket each with sensors on and a laser gun. The gun has to be charged from a wall unit, then it is a free for all as everyone tries to shoot someone on the opposing team to collect points. At the end of the session each player is issued with a print out to show how many ponts have been scored and which team has won. There is a refreshment area upstairs where mums and dads can wait while the games are taking place.

Upon booking I was given an electronic invitation to print and give to each guest, and was explained the £17.95 party package offered for 7-12 year olds. Each child was played 245 minute games, separated with food and drink (choice of burger, hot dog, chicken dippers or vegetarian plus unlimited orange or blackcurrent squash) in between the two. The staff were professional, and treated the kids well whilst supervising the games and explaining the rules. For non players (parents and family), there wasn't much except for a small waiting area with some arcade machines, but this was full during our visit, so we had to wait at the party table. My only real complaint was the lack of carpark facilities the carpark was full, small and cramped and not a realisitic option. The driveway entry was actually the front of a car dealership. A recommended party venue and the kids had a good time, but they would have liked some cooling fans as it can get quite hot running around for 45 minutes!

Every exhibit has multiple viewpoints here. There were plenty of opportunities to easily see all the animals here. The enclosures were extremely well kept and I think all had an indoor and outdoor area for the animals. There are multiple play areas throughout for kids here too. My kids also enjoyed the animatronic dinosaurs here (very cute). Food here was reasonably priced but we ate outside the park. Parking was free. They offer a lot of different animal interactions here. The prices for all were pretty high but for a special gift I'm sure they are totally worth it. You can also buy carrots to feed the animals in the petting zoo.
