Marisa and the team at Drywall Envy were excellent to work with. I had them remove wood paneling and install drywall, tape and mud in my house. Marisa was communicative and always available when I needed to reach out. Her team worked quickly and efficiently, completing the project on time. I'm very happy with the quality of the work and would call Marisa again. read more

Finish result was better than I imagined. Schedule and change orders were clear and understandable. Highly Recommend. read more

Following up on my write up from a couple of weeks ago. They finished the job and it was satisfactory. But overall, they were sloppy with my home and I was not happy with the mess. I will not hire them again. read more

We hired Drywall Envy to redo our old outdated garage. Marisa came over and discussed the project with me. She quickly provided me with a quote for the work, which was more than fair. Her crew was clean, courteous, efficient, and performed a great job. Our garage is way better than I expected when we started out. They added all my strange design requests, insulted, drywalled, painted, and cleaned up an electrical mess that was causing many problems. I would definitely hire Drywall Envy again as I have much work still to complete in my home. It is also great to see a incredibly competent female owned and operated company in a field dominated by men. Nice to have a reliable contractor that goes above and beyond to make her clients happy. Thank you for your quality work and professionalism. read more

We are first time home buyers and reached out to Marisa and her team to help us fix drywall holes, nail holes, and texture and paint a few rooms and places in our new home. She came out and did a walk through with us and covered all of our needs and even offered some welcomed suggestions. She was responsive and understanding throughout the whole process, including when we had to shift our schedule to accommodate other work. Jose did such an incredible and thorough job when he was at the house. He painted and color matched so many different spots around the home and you can't even tell they were ever there. We will definitely be hiring Marisa and Jose again when we get more adventurous with our painting and minor construction needs! read more

Drywall Envy is a very reasonable and professional contractor. I was initially skeptical about the owners bid; until I had an in-depth conversation about her experience. The short of it ... the owner started a new business after working for her father's 30 year old Drywall business. She has a lot of experience and knowledge about insulation and types of Drywall. The owner came out to my Pasadena property and actually measured my project vs. other contractors who gave me a bid after I sent photos and a guesstimate of my square footage. Also.. unlike other companies that sub-contract after making sure the price includes a hefty fee for you calling them to reach their sub-contractors. The owner was on site working with her team everyday. Don't be fooled by the limited reviews on Yelp and other sites. You need to call Drywall Envy and keep some of your hard-earned money in your pocket. I will call Drywall Envy again for any further projects. read more

So glad I found these guys ... and gals! Woman-owned and operated! I hired them to remove, replace and repaint the drywall and insulation in our garage that had been damaged by last winter's heavy rains. Out of the five other companies that gave me an estimate, Drywall Envy's was the least expensive by a wide margin. All I had to do was supply the paint. Definitely will hire again for future projects. Thanks, Marisa! :D read more

Great operation that goes above and beyond for customer satisfaction down to the little details. Super happy with drywall repair and painting that was done after a whole house replumb. Great pricing as well. Totally recommend. read more

Marisa and her team are our trusted, go-to contractors for all the projects we do in our home. My first experience with Marisa and her team was in Mar 2022 when she did all the drywall in our bedroom following acoustic ceiling removal. Since then, we contracted around additional drywall projects, recessed lighting in several room, TV mounting, updated electrical outlets and switches, and flooring with a bunch of other projects slated. She has extensive experience in home renovation contracting projects and a skilled team which makes her an amazing person to work with for all of our renovation needs. The work is always excellent and overall, I find Marisa to be expertly knowledgeable, reliable, and trustworthy and SO easy to work with. Marisa is always my first call when we have a new home project! Highly recommend her. read more

Found DryWall Envy through Yelp, actually their other family business Lomeli in Ventura was my original contact. Response was fast, estimate quick and exact, work was done quickly, MUCH more affordably than other businesses quoted, and the job was done well and included clean up. The business owner was amazing, the guy who came to do the work was amazing, and they never forgot to close my front door so the cats wouldn't get out. I've already recommended them to many people and am so happy I found this business! I live in a condo on the bottom floor and my unit has had 11 leaks so I really need affordable service. My picky neighbor saw the work completed and will be using them for the same issue. Thank you so much for making this stressful time so much less stressful. I got multiple issues fixed during this visit. I will definitely use them again in the future. read more

A pipe burst in my attic, which led to a water damaged ceiling. I had an insulation company come out, and they were nervous about replacing insulation in the water damaged area. A relative checked the area out and said I should call a professional. I called Drywall Envy and got an immediate response from Marisa. I sent pictures and a video, and within an hour she supplied an estimate and day/time the work could start. Marisa is friendly and easy to talk with. This is so rare in the world of home repair. Marisa and two workers showed up as expected and immediately inspected the ceiling. I appreciated that she gave me two options after the initial inspection, one of which was to salvage most of the sheet rock since the damage wasn't too bad. We opted to salvage and use a stain blocker, and there was texturing to our ceiling. Her team got to work covering the area with drop cloths before starting the ceiling work. I had to turn the A/C off while the work was done, which meant the two workers had to work in hot temperatures. They dealt with everything professionally despite things taking a little longer to dry and being so warm. They cleaned up very well upon completion. Marisa kept me informed the whole way and invoiced me promptly. She even gave me a recommendation for an HVAC company when I asked the next day. This is one of the best experiences I've had since being a home owner. I highly recommend Drywall Envy. read more

We had a pinhole leak in the copper pipe above our living room ceiling causing a lot of collapse and damage to the drywall. Drywall Envy was one of the companies who we called for a quote and I am so glad that I selected them to do the work. Marisa was a true pleasure to work with. She came right out to see the scope of the job and the quote was more than fair. Communication was outstanding throughout the whole process. Jose is an excellent craftsman and did an exceptional job. and every precaution was taken to protect our floors furniture and walls and most importantly the ceiling turned out perfectly. read more

Marisa is wonderful to work with and has done tons of great work around the apartment complex I lived at. She is super responsive and does great quality work with a real attention to detail that is difficult to find with drywall installers. She can do it all from Stucco to patchwork to new drywall installation. She's even given us guidance on problems beyond drywall as to how to best handle them. Give her a call if you ever need anything drywall related! read more

They did an amazing job repairing/replacing drywall in my house. The team was very professional and communication was great!

Highly recommended. I had several quotes to smooth my popcorn ceiling and Marisa's professionalism combined with the estimate she quoted had me sold. Jose did an amazing job. Very clean and smooth, professional work. He also installed some lighting and relocated some other lighting in a bathroom. I have zero complaints. read more

Where should I start... We bought our house 5 months ago and Marisa was one of the contractors we needed help in the beginnning with a garage project. She provides honest opinion and helpful recommendations, she wants us us to know the options before we make decision. She's professional, very responsive, and also super friendly! We end up having her team doing projects and projects in the past 5 months (from the drywall projects to handyman jobs), this is how much we trust her and love working with her. More projects to come and she will be our long term partner for sure. We love you, Marisa!! read more

Drywall Envy did a nice job patching holes at my home. They were professional and tidy. Good value. Thank you

Had Marisa come over for a quote everything seemed fine she said she would have a quote for me in a day, this was about 4 to 5k worth of work. Text her a few times and she ghosted us. I guess she doesn't care for money or clients. When she was at my home every time I would ask about cutting in the paint she couldn't answer my question, I'm glad she never responded maybe that was a sign not to go with her. read more

We had a small drywall repair job and Marisa was very helpful and cost effective. Besides giving us the best pricing for repairs, she was professional and thorough in making the patches match the existing walls. She also communicated very well about timing of arrivals. I highly recommend her! read more

Lowes hired a horrible subcontractor who severely damaged our kitchen drywalls when installing new countertops/removing old backsplash. We needed to have them replaced and Drywall envy was one of the few who was willing to do a virtual quote over facetime (which was super helpful given my wife and I both work). Communication was amazing throughout the process and the work was outstanding! Jose did a wonderful job with our drywall and it looks great even though he knew we'll be covering it with a new backsplash. We ran into a misunderstanding with costs (mainly due to Lowes) but still felt it was fairly priced given the high level of craftmanship. read more

I love this business. I had a water leak from under the floor in my kitchen and I called thinking I just had to replace the drywall. Marissa the owner was so gracious to video call me and help me diagnose the issue. She helped me understand the work I would need and the cost without trying to gouge me for a price. Genuine whole hearted woman owned and lead small business. I recommend highly! read more
