I was recommended to come here from a friend to get my work uniforms dry cleaned for an upcoming event. I came in later on a Tuesday afternoon and I was told they could be ready for pickup Saturday morning! I was so impressed with the turn around time especially since I needed them for an event on the following Monday. I completely spaced about coming to pick up the uniforms until right after they closed. I frantically called the store and the owner said not to worry and would stay open a little longer so I could come pick up the uniforms. I was there 10 minutes later and everything was ready to go! I was so thankful because he saved me a whole lot of hassle from my employer! Plus, the uniforms look fantastic and the price is the best in the area!! I will definitely be coming back to this dry cleaned business and will tell all of my friends to come here too! 10/10 Recommend! read more

Total Rip Off!! I started going this cleaners as it was conveniently located a few blocks from my house, although it was a little pricey the closeness of it's location made it sort of ok for me, until the last batch clothing.. about 5 pair pants , 16 shirts two jacket cost me a total of $240.00 Yikes!! I have never paid that much for dry cleaning before ! mr Leng who is apparently the owner reaction was " well I only get paid $13.00 an Hour!! I will never patronize this establishment again!! I needed a shirt to be dry cleaned and ironed but it came out looking more wrinkled than when I gave it to them. The cuffs were a mess and the arm holes had a wavy pattern. Take your clothes elsewhere; their don't care about the quality nor do they care about their customers. read more

I have been going to Mr Leng for years. He is very friendly, and runs a great family business. He has recently renovated the entire shop to be environmentally friendly, eliminating all the old style chemicals. I personally enjoy patronizing a family business rather than the chains. Leng is 76 years old and works his buns off. He is always willing to redo a garment if its not perfect. read more

Be careful if you go here for the Yelp deal. I dropped by here because its near my office and needed to get some pants dry-cleaned. When I went to pay I mentioned yelp, and that I would give him a pretty good review because he got some gum out of the pants. He then said that I can't have 15% off because I didn't mention it when I dropped of the pants. Are you serious? I said I was a first time customer, and would like the discount. He acted like he didn't know what was going on with the machine, like it was the computers fault. Worse, I noticed when I got home that he short-changed me $10 with the change he game me. I should have double checked there, so that's party my fault, but he obviously was not good at counting. read more

Used to use Rose Cleaners till about five years ago, when I had a bad experience with a destroyed blazer and slacks, which they took zero responsibility. I will only go to Dryclean City for my drycleaning and laundry needs. They handle everything from down comforters to silk ties and it all is on time and perfectly done. I'm just going to keep it short and simple. Brought two suits here, both returned damaged and required me to take it to my tailor for repair. The worst part is that they attempted to conceal the damage made to one of my suits, I was simply at a loss for words, initially was wondering why my lapel was pressed to be made so small. Just shady. In an industry where trust is drives your repeat business, this business lacks integrity. Lesson of the day, don't settle for convenience, if you have to drive another mile or two, always go the extra mile for quality. It cost me repairs and one of my favorite suits. read more

I'm a longtime customer and have been generally pleased until this past year, when they shrank or otherwise ruined many pieces of my clothing. I gave the owner, an seemingly nice man, an opportunity to replace a few of the pieces that were replaceable, thinking I was being generous by eating all the other pieces, but he made no effort. I went back last week -because the place is conveniently located- and got stung again. They shrunk a jacket. Also know that if you have shirt laundry done here, they tend to iron in a funky bend in the collars that doesn't allow them to lay correctly when unbuttoned. I won't be going back. read more

Simply put, hold on to your receipts because they loose items and deny it. And when they don't deny it, they do NOTHING to rectify the loss. Several suits ruined when one piece went missing, usually trousers. There must be a graveyard outback for lost/misassigned items never claimed due to their inept system. I had a wonderful experience here with my wedding dress. It is plain stretch crepe material without any decorative trim, minimal and elegant. The short train was covered in dirt after our having an outdoor wedding and walking on dirt paths. As well I had a grass stain on it. I brought my dress in with hopes of just getting the grass stain out so I could wear it for a reception the next day. Not only did he get out all the dirt on the train and the grass stain, it was beautifully pressed and ready 24 hours later in time for the reception. After the reception back to the cleaners again! This time with beet juice from a salad and chocolate cake frosting. Once again 24 hours later, all the stains were out and the dress was beautiful again! The prices were reasonable and the turn around was SO appreciated!! That's what you get when the cleaning is done on premises, so rare nowadays. Support this business! I do not live in the area but if I did this cleaners would be my go to!!! read more

We've been going to this cleaner for several years given it is right in our neighborhood. The prices are typically lower than the other cleaners close to here and the service has been fine, quality certainly adequate or better for the price. Today the man at DryClean City went so way above and beyond that he restored my dwindling faith in the kindness of people in this era. I needed "emergency" clean pants (OK so that's a long story) and he came through. I tried to pay him extra and he refused to take it. We were already "regular customers" and this has insured our continued business. Let me start by saying my wedding dress was EXTREMELY fancy. A million layers, a million beads, sheer bodice, 4k. I sold it after my wedding so I needed it cleaned, but the other quote I got was for $500, which was 25% of what I was selling it for, so that didn't happen. Here, they charge $90 to clean a wedding dress and tacked on $10 because mine had so many layers. This was an AMAZING deal. The only bad thing I had to say was that they kept giving me different answers on alterations. My dress had two beads that needed tightening because the thread was loose. First, on the phone, the guy said they could do alterations in-house and my dress wouldn't go anywhere (that was important to me because I was a little anal about not wanting it to get lost). Then, when I dropped off my dress, he said they would have to ship it somewhere, but not to worry, it would be nearby. Then, when I picked up my dress, the alterations hadn't been done. I let him know, and he said OH! No, we don't do alterations at all. It made me feel a bit like I was in the Twilight Zone or going crazy, because I specifically remember having two other conversations with him and showing him the loose beads, and him saying they would totally take care of it. So I ended up having a coworker who sews tighten up the beading for me. BUT it was so affordable that I still give it 4 stars. Just don't do alterations here LOL. They may or may not do it in or out of house. read more

This place is like an old pair of slippers to me. I've been using them for many, many years. (A few months ago I brought in an item and when the owner of the store looked at the old laundry label on it, he said that it was from the early nineties--and the shirt still looked new.) The people are very friendly and accommodating. I have never had an issue with lost items. They have always taken care of special favors like mending and alterations to clothes when I ask. The location is perfectly situated at the corner of Blossom Hill and N. Santa Cruz/Winchester Blvd. I find my shirts and slacks to always be perfectly done. I highly recommend them. read more

Wow, where do I start? I was referred to this cleaner by a coworker nearly 10 years ago. This is by far the best cleaners I have been to. Since then, I have moved to Sunnyvale yet still hoof it out to Los Gatos once a week to drop off my cleaning. Mr Leng the owner is one of the nicest person you will ever meet. You can tell he has a excellent rapport with his customers. Numerous times I see people just plop their bag of clothes off with a nod and a smile. Did you forget to drop your clothes off last week, and have a flight out tonight for a meeting? No problem Mr Leng will take care of it. His same day service is faster then advertised and even includes Saturday.. He's personally saved me quite a few times. In my experience his prices have been very reasonable. He was one of the first adopters of the Organic Cleaning process that I know of, but his prices are ultra competitive even with cleaners that still use the environmentally-unfriendly process. My clothes never come back with that "smell" . I have not had to remove the garments from the plastic to "air it out" since I have started coming here. Stains? If your like me you wear your dinner on your clothes. Mr Leng has gotten practically all my stains out. If he thinks something is untreatable, he will tell you prior to accepting the garment. This alone has saved me money that otherwise would have been wasted. The sincerity and honesty is what I look for in a small business. I had been taking my clothes here for about a year and one day I got my shirts back and a new blue dress shirt was bleached badly. The shirt was ruined. I took it back and as I go in the door with the shirt still on the hanger and still wrapped in the plastic, the owner started verbally attacking me. I was pretty calm for a while but he refused to acknowledge what he did and told me never to come back.
