I've been going to different Drybar locations for 10+ years when I travel and this location truly stands out as exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by how beautiful, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed the space was. You can immediately tell the team is on top of every detail. They are on top of getting you a welcome drink right away. The receptionist was incredibly kind and welcoming, and Gabi did an absolutely phenomenal job on my blowout, one of the best I've had in a long time. 3.5 stars The store itself had plenty of parking and easy to find. The inside was clean and well organized. I felt like the customer service was fine but expected more. I was seen within a few minutes of arriving and seated. I gave some direction but really wanted my stylist to come up with her own style for me (mainly because I'm not that creative). In the end, i told her what would work. I added a bow for $10 and she was able to do a half up hair do. She was quick with the work which i appreciated but sometimes it is nice to have someone spend time on me. My hair style was fine but again had higher expectations. I felt like my friend could've done this for me. I'll come back to try a blow out but I'm questioning how practical this is based on the amount spent. read more

I have been going to DryBars for years in various cities. It's always a nice treat when traveling so you don't have to pack hair products and tools. I was thrilled when this location opened in Montecito because now I can go anytime, whether it's getting my hair done for a fancy event or just for fun! The owner and all of the stylists I've met are super friendly. The shop is so welcoming, clean and well-decorated, including the powder room! They also offer a complimentary glass of wine while you're getting your hair done and I love that it's all local wines! The membership is a great value and gives you a good excuse to go regularly! read more

I have been going to this Drybar since it opened and it's gotten better and better! The stylists are all really good but I have especially loved the way Alyssa, the manager does my hair. Aly is her name and perfection is her game. I would not be able to achieve this look on my own. I couldn't believe how much confidence I had throughout the night, and even until the next day. The compliments wouldn't stop coming. I was pleasantly surprised about how much the curl held up after all the dancing all night and day. Her vibe is UUUHHHMMAZZIINNGGG. The prettiest cool gal ever. No star if option was available. My phone experience was appalling. The staff I spoke with were remarkably unfriendly when I inquired about scheduling a blowout. They even hung up on me abruptly after answering a simple question when I had more questions! Where did drybar find their staff? I have never encountered such an unpleasant salon. My experience started with a call pushing my appt. as soon as i arrived at the parking lot as soon as i arrived, checked in, sat around for another 10 minutes until i was called to start the process with my long hair being washed as water splashing all over my face, it's a good thing i was not wearing any makeup; i sat around for another 10 + mins. all to get my hair roughly brushed out and pulled (not gently) into partings for my disappointing frizzy ends blow out!! read more

My friend booked us an appointment & I wanted to love this place! Blowouts at the surrounding hotels are very pricey! Unfortunately I walked out very unsatisfied. Although my stylist was nice, she was inexperienced and did not give me what I asked for. My friend had to put her hair in a bun because her curls fell straight. I wanted to go back and tell the girl at the front but after reading reviews the owner doesn't seem to take any accountability. So it made me uncomfortable to give feedback to the front desk. The salon felt uptight and unwelcoming. I was the only one there for most of my service. I could see the employees through the swinging doors to the back room, chatting loudly and eating. My stylist did an okay job but was pulling on my hair, which made me very uncomfortable. I won't patronize here again. read more

I enjoyed the girl doing my hair but the little interaction I had with the manager was very unwelcoming and you can just tell she's one of those women who does not like other women. I haven't said the worst part yet though. When I was walking to my car after I saw her sitting in her car smoking weed. Right outside the dry bar in plain view. If the manager is doing that then what's to say the employees aren't as well and doing all these clients hair high as a kite.Completely unprofessional. Don't waste your time. read more

Weird experience. I went to the wrong location. I called at 6:03. No one answered. I left a voicemail. I made it from Montecito blow dry bar, To the correct location by 6:08. Having called 3x on my drive there. No one answered. I arrived and no one one was present for at least 3+ mins. I'm wandering the dry bar confused. Finally I start just saying hello loudly, when someone comes out of the room in the middle. I explain my situation apologize for being late. Im told to wait and my stylist will be out. No problem. Stylist comes out a bit later. I'm sat infront of the door to the back where I can see the security cameras. Making me aware that they were watching me roam around the store wondering what was going on. If you didn't want to help me bc I was late then say that. I would understand. Service was fine. Not sure why you can't see the style until it's done. My style was off. I ended up redoing my buns and curls at home. I just wanted out of there. It was my first time here. I tried to book online to begin with but it kept erroring. I called in. It was my mistake to have the wrong address. But not exactly a place I would ever go again. I am honestly shocked by the reviews. I have come here multiple times and loved it every time! The manager did my hair and she did EXACTLY what I asked for both times. I was nervous because it was for my wedding weekend and I never like my hair, but both times it was beautiful and lasted so well without any upgrades! I had my first blowout here this past Saturday and I was absolutely thrilled with the service and I walked out feeling like a million bucks. It is probably one of the best blowouts I have ever had and I get blowouts regularly at salons in Montecito and Los Angeles, and I frequent the Drybar in Dallas on occasion too. My stylist was really friendly and understood exactly what I wanted; she was patient while I described exactly how I wanted my hair to look and also feel (not crunchy with spray). She did a great job and my hair even looked phenomenal the second day, after sleeping on it. I literally got two nights out on the town with this blowout style looking fresh and beautiful. The salon is bright and spotless clean, with great music and a fun movie playing while you sit. I was even impressed with the price. The only hiccup was waiting about 5 minutes for my stylist to come out and start but if this is a brand new business and that was the only hiccup, I would say they are rocking it. I plan on buying the monthly pass or the packs and I can't wait to go back. read more
