I went to Drybar over a week ago to do a trial blow-out for my Son's April 30th wedding here in Las Vegas. The manager Rakierre provided the service which I liked although I didn't like all the products they used so said I would use my own products at home and come with wet hair. Rakierre and I confirmed via several texts that I would come in the morning of the wedding with my hair shampooed and ready for the blow out. When I arrived, the receptionist said the manager wasn't there as she had to leave for an emergency. She did not explain what that emergency might have been. There were two others working that were busy and the receptionist did not offer to have anyone else do it. I was livid and told her the manager knows this is my son's wedding day. The next day I texted Rakierre and asked what happened. I received no response. If you need a blow out for an important event, DO NOT go here. They don't care. I wasn't really all that thrilled with this. My stylist from Square Salon was out of town and at the salon I work at all the stylist were busy. I was in desperate need of a blow out before a trip and thought I'd give this a try. I think if you have Caucasian hair it might be okay for you, but it isn't for ethnic hair. I'm Filipino with coarse somewhat wavy and straight hair that needs to be tamed. I would have been better off going to a professional salon with the right products for my needs. If you are out of town and need a quick and less expensive hair wash and blowout it might be okay or if you are causation with silky thin hair. read more

Nice and quiet environment. Enjoyed the shampoo and conditioning. However, service was not the best. Went in for an uptini for myself and a blowout and style for my mother in law. The finished product needed some fixing by myself. Had to clean up the wispy hairs on my uptini. And my mother in laws style needed to brushed out and styled to look more finished. My uptini was loose and I had to add more pins and spray to keep the hold. read more

Love that there is a Drybar now in Henderson! The location was beautiful and very clean. Everyone from the front desk to my stylist was friendly and so nice. I loved how my hair turned out and the complimentary mimosa was an added bonus! So nice to be able to get my hair washed and styled before events. Can't wait to come back here!! read more

If I could give less than 1Star, I would. This is the second time my booked appointment has been moved last minute (and three messages giving different reasons why)- putting me in a bind for an event. The first message they attempted to say I "accidentally" booked it wrong, then changed their tune by the third message. The last time, they actually charged me TWICE for a cancellation and it took them two weeks to credit it back. The customer service is awful and the blow dry quality is a hit or miss. read more

Just left after a blow out with Rakierra and I'm very happy! I am a hair stylist myself but really hate doing my own hair so once and awhile I treat myself to a nice blow out. She was very thorough, did a great double shampoo because I requested and my hair which is very dense was blown out and curled in 50 min. I will definitely be back and I suggest you ask for her; she's the manager so easy to remember! read more

The absolute worst experience of my life. If you have texured hair don't bother. Yep i get it i am African american, blonde, with Extensions, I have extremely thick hair and yes it's not easy. However I am a hairstylist, I have guest with my hair and if your properly trained you should know how to handle textured hair. The stylist... bless her heart rinsed my hair for 2 mins before adding shampoo. I have thick hair i needed my hair to be saturated before washing infact anyone with thick curly hair does. I knew it was all bad from that point. However I was hopeful.... 2.5 hours later My roots were still wet along with my wefts. I added a dry styling and my hair was poofy and not smoothed with the curls. I proceeded to ask for a manager HUGE mistake there, she was the rudest i have ever came across. I wish they wore name tags because i would def. blast her out. She was so rude told me my hair was damaged. She took zero responsiblity or even apologized for me not being happy!! I have never been so insulted!! I have been doing hair over 20 years and I would never blame my salon guest hair on my lack of skills ( if there were some). I took a chance ( something i never do) I heard positive things about this company and this specific location, however you have missed the mark. Such good customer service! I'd tried doing my hair for an event and it came out horribly. I rushed over there and immediately was helped. No actually SAVED. The girls at the front desk were very sweet and gave me champagne. Allison was my hair stylist. She did a great job as quickly as possible and was such a pleasure to talk to. Had my hair done yesterday. It looked great until the next day I realized that some shampoo or conditioner had not been rinsed out completely. I called to explain the situation and asked if they could redo. Drybar would not take care of the situation because I waited a day to report it. My experience here was HORRIBLE! I have healthy platinum blonde hair with beaded weft extensions. I use very good products on my hair and take very good care of it. Because as we all know blonde hair is expensive to upkeep. While blow drying my hair all I could feel and hear was her ripping my hair the entire time. She kept getting the brush caught in the middle of my hair and also caught on the beads of my extensions. You are supposed to brush hair at the ends first then the top to prevent breakage ESPECIALLY FOR BLONDES. OUR SCALP IS MORE SENSITIVE. She did not do that at all. Blow outs are supposed to be sleek and soft when finished. I left with a frizzy mess. I don't have frizzy hair... I didn't walk in with frizzy hair. EXTREMELY angry and disappointed with this service. I don't recommend going to this salon if you care about the well being and health of your hair. Now I have breakage. I had somewhere to be today and now I'm dealing with a tangly frizzy mess. The breakage cannot be undone! When I looked at her brush it was full of all of my hair. Half way through I had contemplated telling her to just stop and go home and do it myself. read more

I have been to drybar several times and have had some amazing stylists. I have also been there and some of them weren't so great... no big deal. However none of their stylists have ever been as awful as Airika. Typically when you get your hair professionally done the stylist will talk to you a little bit about your hair and how you like it. Red flag number 1- I asked for flatiron curls(curls done with a hair straightener) she admitted that she did not know how to do that. Ok moving on... we go to the shampoo bowl. Red flag number 2 Airika gave the laziest wash ever. Not enjoyable or effective whatsoever. Ok don't complain it's fine. Red flag number 3- we are back at the chair she asks if I am ok with products... I pointed out what I like to use and asked her not to spray the root lift directly on my scalp but rather spray into hand and rub into my scalp. Airika ignores me completely and does the opposite of what has been asked of her. The blowout proceeds she started in the front. A blowout consists of a blow dryer and a round brush which is what was done in the front. Red flag 4- Airika moves to the back completely rough dries (doesn't use a round brush) the remaining hair. Now for those who don't know the reason for a round brush is to smooth your hair as it dries, giving you a beautiful shiny finish. At this point I am furious. I excuse myself to the restroom, I returned a few minutes later, she is ready with her curling iron. I asked her to take the rollers out of my hair and that I wasn't interested in using a curling iron. I asked her what kind of blowout she gave was. She replied with "it's the one I gave you." I apologized for bothering her while she was at work. I mean who do I think I am wanting MY hair done a specific way. A client?? I get out of her chair and head to the front desk. And just when I think Airika has reached her lowest point she begins to shout at me literally yelling at me telling me to leave. She is a disgrace to the hair industry. Moving along, the front desk seemed to be a decent young lady, she tells me my price.. I am in shock knowing that I'm not paying for this poor service. Front desk agrees with me but needs to confirm with management. Ok no problem. Low and behold it gets worse... The shop managers name is Rakierra, she claims that I need to pay because the service was partially completely!?!? You're joking right. Like I knew the stylist would do a terrible job. She offered to have me taken care of by another staff member... Right like I feel comfortable staying in an environment where I feel threatened. Needless to say I did not pay. It was the least you could do Rakierra. I would have preferred a blowout, By a stylist who has talent. For everyone reading this please know this is not my usual experience at drybar. Like I said before some are excellent and some are new hairstylists. They at least try. Airika didn't try or even listen to what I wanted. read more

I highly do not recommend coming here. I had an awful experience and don't plan to ever book an appointment here again. I made an appt for an up-do for an event I had to go to - I picked my specific appt time so I would have enough time after to finish getting ready in time. I arrived 10 minutes prior to my appt and the first thing I noticed when I walked in was how loud the music was, I could barely hear the person checking me in. Then, I was taken back 40 minutes late which was absolutely ridiculous, I should have just left at that point. I showed my stylist exactly what I wanted, a video reference and explained the details. She said ok and got to work. Halfway through doing my hair, she asked another stylist if she was good at braids which I was confused about because why do you work at a styling salon if you can't do a braid... anyways my stylist ended up saying she would try on her own. Unfortunately I could not see anything she was doing to my hair because there was a huge tv screen blocking the mirror in front of me. Later into the style another stylist had to come by and help her pin my hair up, which should have been another red flag to me. After pinning everything she said it was done but did not even offer me another mirror to check the style. Since they took me back so late I ended up saying ok, paying and rushing out so I wouldn't be late for my event. Within 15 minutes of me leaving the salon, I already had pins falling out of my hair. As soon I got home, I went to check the style - my bun was falling out because the pins were coming out and the look was nothing like I showed her, it was basically the opposite of what I said. With the style completely falling and coming undone I was forced to take the whole thing down and start from scratch. To say I was livid is an understatement considering I had less than 20 minutes to fix my hair, do my makeup and get dressed before leaving for my event (which would probably not have been a big issue if I was taken back on time). This appt turned out to be a complete waste of my time and money ($118!!). I reached out to customer support but of course they never got back to me, very disappointed in the whole thing. it was ok but not that good. The strip is better with handling textured hair. We came twice to this location since it is closer and both times was similar experience, including when i brought my daughter. I had to straighten her hair better and straighten the roots of her hair especially in the middle. The locations everywhere else do really good jobs. read more
