I come in twice a week to see Cashay for a round brush blowout. I'm obsessed with her! Literally favorite place in the world lol

First timer here at Dry Bar. I typically go to my regular hair stylist for stuff like this but she wasn't available. Made an appointment online specifically for a morning before an event where I knew I would be in a lot of photos. Ultimately, the service boosted my confidence and got compliments, as I had hoped. I liked the stylist I worked with (Kheava, she was great) and the location itself was clean and convenient. I got the Cosmo style and would recommend my stylist specifically. But I don't know that I would come back. My initial impressions were negative, as I wasn't greeted and staff didn't seem ready for my appointment. I called on my way because I couldn't find the building (it's over by Cycle Bar) and no one answered - the ringer appeared to be turned off. Not a good look. I had an appointment (as did the lady who entered after me) and for whatever reason, there was no receptionist and the two stylists who saw me didn't say anything. I realize hair dryers are loud but we're talking zero acknowledgement. Not a good vibe. When the male stylist brought his client around from the wash room ten minutes later, he was the one to greet and welcome us. I booked here based on the company's reputation and felt the service itself wasn't up to par. Their monthly memberships aren't a bad deal but there isn't a location convenient to me on the NW side and I would expect longer lasting results - my hair only held up for the second day. When getting blow outs from my regular stylist, I can stretch it for nearly the full work week. Other recent reviews mention this as well. Also, the website and in-store signage indicate that there should be some sort of discount for first timers, but at no point was I able to find a discount code nor did anyone mention anything. Using new contact info to schedule should automatically qualify me.

Drybar Henderson has upped their game! I won't go anywhere else anymore. Stylists are top notch, service is on time and friendly. Love it here. And as much as I want to keep her to myself - shoutout to Deana. A gem, and one of the many reasons I'm keeping my membership. Also, this place is a VIBE now.

Liked the music and the vibe. The wash and style was ok. I will definitely give them another try. Oh and as a bonus they do "happy hour" with $5 off your blowout Monday-Thursday from 11am-3pm

My stylist on April 10th 2022 did a wonderful job! HOWEVER, front receptionist 0 stars. I delayed this review because I didn't have time to dwell on this negativeness. I was about 5-10 minutes early to my appointment. I waited for my stylist to finish her guest. I waited about 10 minutes past my appointment time at 12:15pm. So at 12:25 ish I was seated with my stylist. Upon checking in I was greeted by the receptionist, she stated I was here for a blowout however in my appointment you can see I booked a dry style, I corrected her and she didn't say anything. Once I was finally seated and by the way my stylist did an amazing job per usually with dry bar stylist she literally only took 15 mins for my hair and I was out by 12:40 . I was pretty happy with my hair as usually Dry bar stylist never disappoints! Then, once I went to pay the receptionist stated my hair was wet and I never saw any communication my stylist had with the receptionist or any statement saying from my stylist I was wet. Also for reference my hair was dry but I did put some in some products due to the texture of my hair which needs the protection and extra help. But again my hair was DRY. The stylist asked if I wanted to use blow dry or straightener I said whatever you think ! I ended up being charged for a blowout. If that were the case I would have just had them do my entire wash. I have had many other blowouts and dry styling and was super disheartened with the dishonesty of the receptionist and horrible communication. I didn't let this bad location/receptionist ruin my love for Dry bar. However I will never support this location. I tried to contact Dry bar to speak about it but there's no contact information and you have to just speak to the specific location which obviously won't solve any issues that arises.

I requested loose beach waves and instead received curly Sue curls... this was my first time at a dry bar. I also requested moisture and hydration treatment and it was merely a leave-in spray. Disappointed and will need to fix my hair for my photoshoot. Came home and brushed out my hair to hopefully loosen the waves and it just turned out flat. Doing my hair again before my photoshoot...

I hate to have to give an updated review of 2 stars when my first review was 5 stars. Even my 2nd visit here was great but my 3rd visit which was just on 10/09/2022 was just horrible!!! I made my appointment online in the late AM of Friday. I did request Katie but unfort. didn't get her, she wasn't working. I got Joanna. I showed her a picture of a cosmo that I had done there by Katie & Jasmin & told her that was what I wanted. I got a cosmo about 1 mth ago @ the Drybar in the Cosmopolitan hotel & the girl there didn't curl a lot on top of my head so it made my head look really big, which it isn't....lol I showed her that picture & told her that I didn't like how the top wasn't curled so I didn't want to end up with something like that. Joanna was very confident & told me she would do what I had asked for. This made me feel good! Once she was finished I had her take a pic of the back of my hair. I was in shock when I first saw it & immediately I didn't like it. It looked nothing like the photo I showed her. I was honest & told her right away that I didn't like it. She asked "what can I do to fix it?" Wasn't sure if this was a trick question because she's the one doing my hair?? LOL Told her it didn't look like the photo I showed her & I wanted it to have more curls so she worked on that. Once she was done & took another pic for me & I looked @ it............OMG it was worse!! My hair looked so messy. I told her again "I don't like it." She wasn't sure what to do, told me she was going to go talk to someone & see if she could get help. She came back alone & tried to fix it again which it still looked nothing like the photo I showed her. At this point I'm so upset. I was going to a concert that night & wanted to get my hair done for it. The last thing I expected was to have such horrible results. I was thinking to myself I'll just go home & try to fix it. I mean what else could I do if she couldn't fix it & didn't have a solution? I felt bad telling her I didn't like it but I needed to tell her to see if she could fix it? She did a good job with my bangs though. The reason for my 2 stars today is what happened when I went to check out. Per my receipt the girls name is America S. Immediately when I went up to the counter I told her "I don't like my hair" I told her this several times. I showed her the picture of what I wanted & the pictures of what Joanna did. I was praying that this girl would help fix the problem. Well she did say "I'm sorry" which was appreciated (thank you) but then says "that will be $55.00." I was in shock like OMG, "hey I'm sorry you hate your hair but please pay $55.00 now." I was in disbelief. She told me she could put on my file to never get Joanna to do my hair again. I was just getting ready to ask to speak to a manager & another stylist Sol came over & asked if she could help me. I quickly explained to her my situation & she took me right over to her chair to fix my hair. The girl working next to her had told me she saw my facial expressions while I was talking to America & knew I was not happy so she told Sol to go over to me. OMG Sol did an AWESOME job & fixed it!! She made it look like my picture. I was soooooo happy!! I wanted to give her a cash tip but needed change. I asked America for change & that's when I found its cash only. Luckily I was able to add another tip onto my transaction for her. So once I left there I headed to a few stores in the district & when I was in Sephora I went to check out my hair in a mirror & noticed it was flat. UGH!! What in the world?? Once I got to a restaurant to grab some lunch I had an employee take a picture of the back of my hair & pretty much most of the curls were gone 2hrs post blow out & my hair was flat. OMG what happened??? I've been to a Drybar 5 times & this was the 1st time that this has happened?? Was it something Joanna washed my hair with, put in my hair..IDK??? I know they have their own products but I don't have a clue what went wrong?? I ended up having to curl it once I got home. So unfort. my other reason for giving my review 2 stas today is because of the outcome of the style. I'm not sure if I will go back her for my next blow out?? Check out my photos so you can see what I'm talking about. I did see that this happened to another girl & was in disbelief that this could happen until it happened to me. I'm so disappointed in this. :-(

Can dry bar, blow out thick long African American type 4 Hair?

Would i be able to bring my own haircare products for my wash & blow out?

No, but drybar has amazing products free of harsh chemicals and safe for all hair types.

I have two type of extensions. I have about 6 clip ins, and I also have a "halo" extension. Do you work with these types as well and if so, is there an additional fee?

They will work with them and can put them in for you and it's $20 add on fee!

What is the direct email and telephone number to this store? I had a incident happen today that is very serious. The manager was supposed to email me with the details and claims from the stylist Drew, but I have not recived anything .

    Do they take walk ins?

I have tried walking in twice and they weren't able to take me. I think it also depends on the location and day of the week. I wouldn't try walking in fri-sun

If nothing else, I hope this is the only review you'll need to come here…read more For reference, before I came here my stylist would do my money peice. We would do a double bleach process, using olaplex to protect from breakage, no heat, followed by a 1:1 ratio of Matrix SPV toner and clear to get a white hair streak (think Sabrina Carpenter blonde). Out of the blue she decides to do a career change and now I'm on the hunt for a new hair stylist. Every stylist I would sit with, I'd tell them the process and products and they would agree to the service. Every time the day of our appointment came around, without fail they would say, "I'm not doing a double process I need to protect the integrity of your hair" and every single time I would leave the salon with dark yellow banding and gray toner in an attempt to cool it down and hide it. My dark Latina hair is stubborn af so a double process was always necessary. They also would use heat, something I did not want to use, with one stylist breaking my hair so bad that I had about 1 inch of hair sticking up on the front of my hair. I went 4 months slicking it down into a bun or hiding it under hairbands. I had soo many consultations (one guy was late an hour and a half to our consultation which pmo) trying to get someone to listen to me and just do what I was asking. Now let me tell you about Casie at Salon Rose. She not only listened, she delivered. Every time I asked to try a different toner combo (since they didnt use the Matrix brand) she was down for. She NEVER argued with me, talked down to me about a process I used on my hair for 2+ years, she was ALWAYS down to try new toners, and delivered on that second process (using my k18 of course to avoid breakage). On top of that, she makes the effort to talk to her boss/coworkers for advice to help me get where I wanted to be. And I respect that because she wasn't pretending like she always had the answers, and made sure I went home with what I asked for. Plus it was great seeing the teamwork environment of the salon. The biggest takeaway from my experience here is, not only do I get what I'm asking for, but I'm being listened to and validated. Having reached out to and spoke to about 8 stylists before coming here, it is such a relief finally being in a place where I'm validated. Shout out to Casie for always being kind, a great conversationalist, for listening to my needs, in doing everything to deliver.

I was visiting family in Las Vegas and booked a last-minute appointment at Salon Rose for what was…read moreclearly confirmed in writing as "Base/Full Highlights" with Anne Norton. I selected a full head of highlights through their online booking system. When I arrived, I was informed that at this salon a "full head" consists of only 30 foils total. At the end of the consultation, Maya explained that if I wanted fuller blonde coverage, I should have booked a separate "Full Blonding" appointment instead. To be clear, I do not mind paying for quality work or premium pricing. The issue is not the cost -- it is calling 30 foils a "full head" of highlights. I have been getting highlights for years and have never encountered a salon that defines 30 foils as full coverage, especially for medium to thick hair. That number is typically considered a partial highlight at most salons. Because I was genuinely confused, I had my assistant contact 10 other salons in the Las Vegas and Henderson area to ask how they define a full head of highlights. Not one defined a full head as 30 foils. The consistent response was that 30 foils would be considered partial highlights, and a true full head involves significantly more coverage. I do want to note that the stylist who was scheduled to perform my service was not rude. However, the interaction became uncomfortable when another staff member spoke loudly about the situation in front of her own client. That felt unprofessional. The salon itself has a very neon pink, basic interior. It is not a luxury salon environment, which made the pricing structure and upsell approach feel even more surprising. What adds to the confusion is that while "Full Blonding" is listed as an option in their booking system, there is no description explaining how it differs from "Full Highlights." There is no breakdown of foil count or coverage level, so a client has no way of understanding that 30 foils is what they consider "full." If a salon chooses to structure services differently, that is completely fine -- but it should be clearly explained at booking. Clients selecting "Full Highlights" reasonably expect full coverage. I would strongly recommend clarifying foil count and service differences before scheduling here.

After doing some research, I found Yuri Hair Salon and decided to give it a try--and I'm so glad I did. I reached out online and got a quick, friendly response, which made booking super easy. I ended up scheduling with Risa for a wolf cut, and wow... she is AMAZING. She's from LA and totally gets that soft, layered wolf cut style. Honestly, she's like a hair wizard--she gave me exactly what I wanted (which never happens!), and I left feeling so confident. This is hands down my favorite hairstyle I've ever had. The whole experience was just really nice from start to finish. The salon is clean, welcoming, and has such a good vibe. I loved that they have a private area to change into a smock--it's those little touches that make a difference. Daniella greeted me right away and gave me such a relaxing hair wash too. And I have to say... if you're looking for an Asian hairstylist or that Korean/Japanese-inspired look, this is the place. They even had K-pop music playing, which made the whole experience feel fun and added to the vibe. I walked out feeling like a new person. Definitely found my new go-to spot. Highly recommend!
