These guys are problem solvers and will work with you. The initial consultation was thorough and when mold was found, I was devastated to learn how costly it was to clean. Once Bryan broke it all down, I saw the workload and realized that I did not want to undertake such a job. I agreed to get it cleaned but not sealed. Michael explained everything before work began, and Michael and James dealt with unforeseen issues and worked with me when I requested different jobs. December 2021 We chose DryPatrol of Delaware OH to complete the clean-up works after a fire that caused smoke damage through part of our home, storage areas and garage. They were chosen based on their reasonable quote, their wonderful reviews, and their quick response to questions during the estimate process. They were the only company that capped their estimate by providing a range of what they expected the final cost to be. We didn't want to hit the high cap, and we wanted the process to go as quickly as possible so we cleaned nearly all of the items instead. Their estimate did not specify what the cleaning estimate was specifically for (items vs structure). So we were still a little nervous about what the final cost would be. During the clean-up time their workers were communicative, polite, and friendly. We always knew when they would be arriving, and when they were leaving. They always left the messy situation they were working on in good shape at the end of the day. The final product was great. Everything was ready for the reconstruction work. The final bill after all of their work and ours....unbelievable. It was LESS than their low estimate. I've never had that happen. I only hope they were not disappointed. So thank you DryPatrol. We were referred to Dry Patrol through Home Advisor after our Sump Pump backed up and flooded our finished basement. The owner called us back right away and was incredibly helpful and informative. We agreed to have his crew out to our home the next morning, which was a faster than expected turnaround time given all of the rain and number of homes being flooded in and around our area. The two-man crew showed up, as promised, with all of their gear and were not only very professional but also extremely courteous and patient with all of our questions and concerns regarding the process. The team took great care to protect all of our floors and walls leading to the basement so that none of their equipment created any further damage to our home. Subsequent to a plumbing repair of a significant upstairs water leak, we called Dry Patrol of Columbus for help in drying out the damaged areas. They were prompt in their arrival, described exactly what they would do and how long it would take, removed damaged flooring, wall board and insulation and set up the necessary equipment quickly to prevent mold formation. They returned each day at a set time to check on the progress and ran tests to ensure that structures were adequately dry to begin restoration. Dry Patrol was a great help - we had 5 inches in the basement discovered on a Saturday - they came recommended by Basement Doctors. They had us drained by mid afternoon and set up drying equipment and dehumidifiers before they left.
