(I posted a negative review on Yelp regarding that roofer). Since I needed help selecting a roof shingle for my home, I called Grandview. He started the work within the following 10 days, and he completed it to my satisfaction and in a timely manner, even during a rainy day. The roof looks fantastic; they cleaned up after the job was done. His crew was polite and diligent, and I highly recommend his work.

I noticed the workmen seemed to have a pleasant attitude and were very kind and friendly as neighbors walked by, which I really appreciated. Everything about working with Rogue Home Repair was exactly what a homeowner wants: a professional attitude, clearly communicated expectations, and great work. When I requested an alternate quote with details of what I wanted left out, I was ghosted for another month. Even worse, I was working directly with the owner. He could have at least given me and ETA of when to expect the quote or informed me that they weren't going to work on my house. My impression is that this company's tactic is to wait long enough that the client forgets what was discussed and then up-sells without discussing. Then if the client calls them out on the up-sale, they're ignored. I will never consider doing business with Better Built again, and I will share their unprofessionalism with everyone I know

The overall interior painting project turned out quite nicely done; however, upon closer…read moreinspection, there were several areas where greater attention to detail would have improved the final result. While the main work was completed satisfactorily, the finish quality was inconsistent in several spots, including uneven edges, missed areas on the trim, paint on adjacent surfaces, and other minor imperfections that detract from the overall appearance. Mostly, couldn't believe they didn't cover/protect my main living room window from paint splatters. I had to have a trusted window cleaner remove them. Found my vacuum cleaner was used (not a shop vac) to vacuum drywall. This in essence kills a vacuum as cleaning it is difficult if not useless (and I consult a vacuum cleaning shop). I bought a new one. A more thorough inspection by the contractor after the crew considered the job complete may have resulted in a more professional outcome and reduced the need for return visits to address these issues. Realize Ryan, whose company it is, doesn't do the work but also doesn't oversee the crew he sends out. There were multiple areas with uneven coverage and details that appeared neglected. Given the company's strong reputation and ratings, I expected a cleaner finish and more rigorous quality control. While the overall result is good, the project would have benefitted from greater care and attention to detail throughout the finishing process.
