Choosing to be a client was a no brainer! My low back was in such pain I couldn't stand for too terribly long. Thirty min. exercising on an elliptical would put be down for a day and a half. I had terrible Migraines. Worst of all, was that I couldn't sleep through the night! So trying to cope through the day was extremely difficult. Things looked and Felt pretty bleak. After just my second treatment, I was already sleeping better!! I'm still on the road to rebuilding and realigning my body, but BOY! Does it feel great! I can't thank you enough, Dr. Baird! I spent roughly 90 minutes at this office and received about 2-5 minutes of hands-on chiropractic care. Before Dr. Baird had any real understanding of my injury, he was already going over my follow-up visit. He explained he was going to do some vague prodding around my head that could cause unknown reactions anywhere in my body, but that it would definitely be connected to my healing. When I pressed him on that -- the logic didn't feel consistent to me -- he moved past the question with more vague phrasing about how pain can mean you're healing. He then spent a few minutes working my back -- which I could feel helping -- but stopped quickly and moved me to another room for electric stimulation therapy. During the head prodding, when I honestly said nothing stood out as especially sensitive, he eventually commented something like "maybe it really is just your muscle." Combined with how briefly he worked the area that seemed to help, it left me feeling he had a sense of what would actually benefit me but chose a different course. I went home no better than I arrived. After some research, a back roller and massage gun used about 15 minutes twice a day resolved most of my pain within a few days. I'll also note that explicitly Christian music played throughout the visit and spiritual causes for my pain were raised multiple times. For a first visit with a new provider, that felt out of place. The staff were genuinely kind, which I want to acknowledge. My concern is with the care itself and how quickly return visits were prioritized over diagnosing the issue.

Living with chronic back & neck pain since my teens I stumbled across this company on Social Media…read morethat showed an advertisement of a person's neck in a position that allows maximum stretching and proper curvature. A few days later saw a different picture with a person on a table which appeared to stretch the back. Made a phone call, and found that they accepted my insurance. But wanted to do a consultation and take x-rays first. The first appointment they went over range of motion and found the pressure points that caused pain and asked about what I do for work? Told them I sit on a computer many hours a day many days a week. Next they worked up the plan for how many times I will be at the center and what types of things I will have to do at home. They take an alternative approach to Physical Therapy. I like what they do and how they don't mess around with isolating the areas that need some strengthening. Have been to 3 different Physical Therapy places around SLC in the past and they came and went and didn't seem to care. Here they use physiotherapy (not sure how different from PT?) and make sure you are on task and doing the proper procedures as designed. This entails stretching, joint mobilization, soft tissue release, strengthening the muscles, increasing flexibility, and improving balance and coordination. The staff, doctors, chiropractors, massage therapist, and nurses all treat the patients with dignity and respect. Seen a couple negative reviews on where which don't seem to have actually been to the facility except to make an appointment. Some guy named Dust C posted the same things over and over which should be flagged by Yelp for inaccurate review. Have been coming to IG since late July '20 and still go 2x a week now Oct '20. And most days are great for being pain free some days aren't so good but are becoming few and far between. The only negative thing I can say about this place is that they sometimes get really busy, and most of the time it is because I am running late to my scheduled appointment. Highly recommend this facility for those that are suffering from pain that want to avoid surgery or an elixir. :-)

I'd understand if I was just recovering from an accident and insurance was covering it, but I'm just there for a quick crack and dash. She tells me it's required and its an additional $99 on top of the $70 adjustment. No mention of this prior. Good customer service would've been "Hey we'll do this for free because we dropped the ball and wasted your morning.". but no. I told her my frustration and left am hour 20 after I got there.
