In all, I solicited quotes from three local companies and all were very similar in estimated costs. I had John out two more times for quote adjustments, he was always on time (or earlier) and he handled the exceptions well, all things considered. He made suggestions on things to save me money, which was appreciated. Hired them for the job and they were out within three weeks or so to get the job done. Arrived right on time at 7AM, good thing I set my alarm (I work 2nd shift so 7AM is pretty early for me.) Long story short, Robinson was my crew leader and he is THE MAN! An artist in his craft. From getting a couple of MASSIVE boulders out of the way, to his skill with handling both the Bobcat for grading and the hot top machine for putting the money stuff down (not to mention his skill working the vibratory roller in the closing acts...), he CLEARLY knew what he was doing and made my new driveway a work of art! And all of the rest of his crew were highly skilled in all of the jobs which they were assigned. Great people! THANKS Robinson and crew!!! It's just not a good experience all around. I was quoted to have my home power washed. simple right? I sent them pictures ahead of time, and after some back and forth they sent me a quote. I agreed to the quote. It was a bit higher than other companies nearby but I wanted to support my community. On that day, the person showed up late and also didn't even bring a commercial ladder? she had a little tiny step ladder but it didn't exactly do the trick. strange. She proceeds to leave my property with the house only halfway done. She tells me she'll be back. never returns. I get an invoice for double the cost of the original quote. I'm like ummm whaaaat... So you didn't finish the work and now you're invoicing me for double the cost? that's not how this works. so, I finally speak with someone on the phone on behalf of the company to figure out what the heck is going on and they told me that she's not returning, she got very sick and they believe it's because of my house? LOL. and also they let me know that the quote doubled even though only half of the work was done, no negotiations. I tried to reason with them and explain how change orders work etc., To help them understand why this is extremely frustrating for me as a customer. they don't know how to operate change orders. they don't know how to quote it seems... extremely unprofessional. It felt like a bait and switch. It really sucks to have had this experience especially being a queer person myself... I was so excited to work with these folks and then.. womp womp. such a shame. after lots of back and forth and snarkiness and unprofessionalism and arguing , I paid what I felt to be reasonable despite the behavior and the fact that I'm stuck with half of a dirty house because she only power washed the bottom of my house. Yes you read that right. The bottom of my house was beautifully cleaned and white and the top was still covered in debris. so, still an eyesore. It's a shame that it didn't work out with this company because the concept is really beautiful. The execution, not so much. the communication, standard protocol, and the job preparation needs to be worked on. another thing, they tried charging me for a gasoline and also mileage too. seems unethical. anyway, I hope they figured it out since they were last at my house. To this very day, I still never heard from them again. they never called to update me or anything... I genuinely hope they work with a consultant to figure out these issues. They had done such a great job replacing our roof several years ago, I did not think of calling anyone else. In spite of the weather, the roof was repaired in February. A great job performed by skilled craftsmen. Last week, Jennifer called to ask if it was OK for Don and Gary to come by this past Monday at 8AM to replace the siding. They arrived about 30 minutes early, and by 1 PM, the site was cleaned and cleared and they were gone. It was as though the windstorm had never happened. I cannot express how impressed I am with Robert, Jennifer and everyone I have met from Eyles. BTW, though I sent the Insurance adjuster's paperwork with my request, Robert sent a quote that was below the adjuster's estimate. I am so impressed by my experience with Eyles, that as soon as I receive and invoice, I drive to the office to pay it. I want to make sure that they are in business in the future if I need them.

I had jury duty Friday which I notified him about multiple times, I miss the Friday class, but I'm up with the learning and curriculum he expects, second week, I'm not feeling well in the morning let him know I'm puking, text from Jayson, I'm being let go for missing work, this is before it's time to go into work, so I try to work it out and see if there's anything I could do, explain it was jury duty but he said decisions made, it is what it is, next day I ask him about the pay, he tries telling me he does not have to pay me, I explain that under Massachusetts law chapter 149 section 148, that final wages should have been paid on the day of termination, a measly $250 he's refusing by the way , (it's a lot to me but this guy would brag about going to hawaii every year and all his stuff and how well he's doing) he said it was in the employee agreement I signed, I took a picture after reading the whole thing, not anywhere in it does it say that. So Im thinking oh he probably means the pay sheet, NO the only thing stating the first two weeks of training is "250 garentee after first week" I've written multiple complaints to departments in mass gov. I do want to make sure you see this Jayson. switch Your contract if you're going to scam other people too!
