I have been a customer for a few years. However, I will never take my clothes there in the future…read more They have ruined several of my Jos A Bank dress shirts. The non caring owner claims that this brand of shirts shrink. So, apparently he knew this before cleaning the shirts, before taking my money and never warned me of the shrinkage issue until after the damage was done. What makes it worse is that he never apologized and made me feel as if I was the blame for his error. I'm starting to feel like the other disappointed customers who said that all they care about is your money. They only care until you have an issue. I never had this issue with my previous cleaners. Also, I never had a shrinkage issue with these shirts at Dry Clean World until recently.

Update: See the proprietor's response. What he did is…read moredefinitely not "common sense matters". However, we do know now that it is to him. If you are unsure as to what is correct, go to any store that sells men's suits and ask. Better yet, just do a little google search. New suits (mine at least) have plackets long enough so when hemmed they will not look improper. Sewing them shut is simply incorrect and absolutely not a default choice. No one asked him to create new plackets with extra material. I did not ask him for a cheap option, and I told him to take his time. His dismissive response is misleading at best. When questioned the next day, he used measurements to try to convince me why he had no choice but to do what he did, but those numbers did not check out upon verification at home. Technicalities aside, look at the photos, and think of what other pitfalls you as a customer will need to foresee and avoid. I took the jackets to another alteration shop. As it turned out, Alex had cut out the fabric that was originally in the plackets so his mistake could not be reversed. Another unnecessary violation of a basic rule. The other new jacket, however, has been hemmed properly by her the first time, at a cost comparable to what AA+ charged for the improper and oversimplified job.

Experience Caution: My recent visit to Tower Cleaners fell far short of expectations. The…read moreestablishment does not provide a clear listing of their prices upfront, which led to an unexpected surprise at the time of pick-up--a credit card processing fee among other undisclosed charges. While I am not opposed to paying additional fees, provided they are agreed upon in advance, the lack of transparency here was disconcerting. Prior to my visit, I had done some research--anticipating a reputable service as suggested by online reviews. However, my experience has since cast doubt on their credibility. To ensure compliance with regulations, dry cleaners should disclose their fees beforehand. Charges should align with the provided receipt (it did not). If you're considering Tower Cleaners for your dry cleaning needs, I would urge you to proceed with caution and to inquire about all potential fees before entrusting them with your garments.
