I have used this dry cleaner before and was very satisfied with them. They had excellent prices and the cashier was really nice.
Today I went in and there was a different cashier at the register. Immediately she cops an attitude when I told her I didn't have the ticket with me. She huffs because she has to take the extra effort to look up my information on the computer. Okay, maybe she's having a bad day.
I came in to pick up 5 shirts. Even though I came by several days after they were supposed to be done, they were not ready. The cashier hunts for them and finds 4 of them. When I asked what happened to the 5th one, she says the ticket must have fallen off of it. When I said this had never happened before at this cleaners, she said, "Listen, honey, I've been doing this for 10 years." Okaaaay. Maybe so, but if that were true you'd think she'd be better at customer service and she would have figured out by now how to not lose people's items.
I'm irritated, and I'm pretty sure that was apparent, but what can I do. As I'm leaving, the cashier throws out a snarky, "Have a blessed daaay!"
Yup. Not going back. I might have to pay more somewhere else, but hopefully I won't catch attitude while I'm there and I'll actually get all of my items back. But next time I'll be sure to check the Yelp reviews beforehand. read more
