Quality: 5/5 Service: 5/5…read moreValue: 5/5 ----- Recently, my stylist (Lindsey) moved here, and so I had to come visit and leave a review! I've reviewed her before, but long story short -- there are only about a billion good things to say. Headwaves has a model where each stylist has a little station within the salon, and they manage their own schedules and are generally more independent than at other salons. I personally love that model, because the service you get feels more personal. It's definitely a lot quieter and less busy than a lot of other salons that are open-plan layouts, so if you love that, this is the place for you! I love knowing that everything I pay for at the end of my visit goes directly to my stylist. I've been with Lindsey for years, all through college and now grad school, and even though I live in Dallas, I only schedule hair appointments when I know I'll be home in Little Rock. I've followed her to this new salon, and I would follow her anywhere! She's so good at knowing what I prefer, what looks good on me, what products are best for my hair, etc. We do cut and color almost every time, and I think she does a great job at balancing trying new things so I don't fall into a rut with my hair, while still keeping the basics strong. She's also great at helping me find products that work well and are worth their price tag. I would LOVE if she decided to relocate to Dallas, but for now, I'll keep making the 5 hour drive.

I was losing hope when I messaged the ladies at Anue salon but they were so accommodating!! Did I mention the wedding was on a Sunday and the salon was closed? Hannah and Maddie took time out of their weekend to come and do makeup and hair for 6 of us. They were so kind and professional and fun!!! We had a blast getting ready and they made us look beautiful! I absolutely loved my updo and makeup! Each of us had something different done and they were so good about doing each unique thing we asked for. From makeups to blowouts and updos, they did everything perfectly!! I called at around 9am to schedule an appointment, and they got me in for 9:15am. I was seen quickly after checking in at the front desk & filling out some paperwork. I was given a skin consultation, and the student recommended a "relaxing facial" based on my current skin condition. Getting situated to get the facial was quick & easy, and the facial itself was amazing. This facial also included arms, hands, neck & shoulder massage which was so good! The process lasted about 1 hour, and at the end of it, the student went over with me a couple skin imperfections she noticed under close examination. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience

Was NOT a great haircut or color and highlights and she was 40 minutes late even getting to salon. said she was shopping for salon. I told her I understood it may take more than one visit to get used to my haircut. I brought pictures and the formula from previous hair stylist but second visit STILL was not better. But I kept going back for several months but she did horrible cut and color and highlights! more than that she was late for every single appointment, sometimes over an hour!! Last visit she was late and kept leaving me answering phones, cleaning but mostly talking to other hair stylist instead of paying attention what she was doing. I was her only client but she had me in the salon for 7 SEVEN freaking hours for one appointment!!! so much chaos in this salon!!! will stress you out if you dare make an appointment!!!!!! When it was time to wash out the color, she yelled from the other side of the salon that she was ready for me. I should have left then - but I didn't and she butchered my hair so badly that I tear up every time I look in the mirror. Cut off about 4 inches when I said I just wanted 2 inches, and cut uneven layers in my very thin hair. The root touch up looks like someone dumped brown paint on the top of my head - not blended in, color is too dark. Unless you get a personal recommendation for a particular stylist, I'd be wary. Now I have to try to find someplace else where I can go to get it fixed.
