An impressive tap list -- over 30 tap handles -- of primarily Mexican craft beer is an immediately attractive feature of this chill brewpub. Food was "international" in appearance with offerings such as pizza, burgers and bratwurst, but with careful Mexican twists applied. In addition to some crisp and fresh brews, we munched on BOCADOS DEL MAIZAL (baby corn with mayo, cheese and salt). The small bites were tasty and a perfect complement to the fresh beer. Loved the neighborhood vibes and lively environment. Too bad the power went out during a vicious downpour and thunderstorm otherwise we might have stayed longer!

Coming from a place without much craft beer, we were excited to find this spot. They have over 30 beers on tap and probably another 50 varieties in bottles. We enjoyed sitting at the bar and sampling a few different styles. Beers are a bit pricey - 500 mL (about 17 oz) averaged around $200 pesos each but the selection and atmosphere made it worth it

Like I said, a bit slow @ the time...

Gringo here! So, I was told this place was outstanding for a beer selection as a bottle shop, it was average for me, small selection. No offense, I live in PDX, sorta spoiled here with the beer scene, my expectations were high going in, sort of like telling someone how great a movie is and it gets built up in your mind......I had a couple drafts, the porter stood out to me, the food was good as well. The service was solid, the girls were nice and accommodating and the ambiance was standard, maybe a bit more lively @ night, once again, spoiled.

The yummy oatmeal stout at Drunkendog

Located in Condesa, this is a must go for any fans of craft beer. They have an amazing variety of all sorts of beer here- many from brewers in Mexico. Stouts are my favorite style, and they have about six on the menu. Their Oatmeal Stout was one of the best I ever had. If you don't like cerveza oscura - don't fret - they have many other styles to choose from. I would be remiss if I did not mention the delicious food. We had tacos, guac, burgers and deserts- all more than met our expectations.

Great selection of beers. Pricey compared to bars, but mostly craft choices. Nice outside area. Service was fine, but pushy for a tip before even completing payment. Yes, I will of course tip, just don't ask for one.

This place was a fun bar we stumbled upon while working around. The beertenders were super helpful and let us try many types of beer until we found what we liked. The recommendations were good and the atmosphere was cool.

    What to choose?

Best selection of craft beer that I've found in Mexico City. If you want to try different varieties of Mexican craft beers...this is your spot.

Excellent beer selection and good pizza. Taking a star off since employees' mobile devices occasionally trumped service.

Definitely not a touristy place, this is where locals go. There are so many mezcal options to choose from, whether you want to try it straight or in one of their cocktails. And be warned--the drinks are strong, as mezcal cocktails should be! They also bring out some complimentary snacks to enjoy with your drinks, which is a lovely touch. Service was excellent--everyone was friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with the mezcal selection. This place fills up FAST. We went on a Monday around 10 PM and managed to grab a couple of high stools at one of the side tables, but not long after, the place was packed and it was difficult to even walk through. Given how popular it is even on a Monday night, I can definitely see why. We walked here, which I'd recommend if you're staying nearby, or consider taking an Uber rather than trying to deal with parking in the area. A fantastic little bar for mezcal lovers and anyone looking for a unique, intimate night out. The atmosphere alone makes it worth visiting!

Overall, liked my experience here. Came here with a friend on a weekend night and it was packed,…read morebut we didn't have to wait more than 5-10 minutes to get "seated". I say seated with parenthesis because most people end up standing here but we got lucky that a couple was leaving as we were right next to them after being asked our drink orders. It's kind of a weird system that they have and I think the staff didn't realize we didn't have our drink orders taken yet and asked the people behind us for theirs which was slightly annoying. It was a bit chaotic so I can see why it happened, but I do think they need a slightly better system. Anyways, the drinks were excellent and I love that they gave us a little small snack that included crickets (which I hadn't tried before yet). The vibes in here are really nice too. I love the dim lighting and the almost rock/clay atmosphere. The bathroom area is smaller than I was expecting but it was ok. I'd definitely return!
