O'rourke's looks like a place where you'd have lots of fun in the PM - dart board, juke box, lots of brick and wood surfaces with honest evidence of use - but since it's only 1:00 pm-ish today, better to stick with a tall glass of iced tea snuggled up to a really tasty chicken salad on grilled wheat bread. My husband's substantial pizza is probably big enough to count for both of our lunches - so now that I've finished my sandwich, I just *might* help him out a bit!

I was then transferred to someone else, and the attitude only got worse. Every answer came across as rude and dismissive, as if I was inconveniencing them just by asking questions. I was told I couldn't book less than four hours over the phone, but if I walked in I could. I was also told there are no refunds, even if you only end up using one hour of the required four-hour rental. The policies are frustrating enough, but the way they were communicated made the experience even worse. Customer service costs nothing. If someone calls with a simple question because your online booking isn't working, the least they deserve is to be treated with respect. Based on my experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

The place is decorated and the ac was on and it was really cute! The service was great, we got to be seated right away and the waitress was patient and nice. We had the baby with us so he got to look at the lizards on the wall and the paintings. We placed our order and it got to us pretty quickly. It smelled so good and everyone enjoyed their food. We had no complaints of anything being wrong and we didn't have to send anything back! I wish the waitress checked in on us a little more cause we did need a couple extra things and had to wait for her to pop up and flag her down but I know she had other tables to tend to as well so I don't want to dox her for that. She did really well, was super helpful and confirmed everything twice so she did amazing! I highly recommend this place especially since I know they have the police dispatchers as regulars for lunch time everyday! It was a great place to meet for our group of 5 and everyone was happy so thank you to the staff for an amazing time and the cooks for great food!

Pike Street Wine house is everything you want a wine house to be. Cozy, intimate, inviting, and absolutely lovely inside. It's a perfect spot for a date night or a cozy evening with friends. The owners are very sweet and incredibly knowledgeable & passionate about their wine. Runners Ridge Vineyard wines are available here along with several other local options. Everything I have tried has been great (even though I do prefer sweet wines myself). I love that they have started to offer a small menu including charcuterie boards. Occasionally, they host events like Reading between the Wines, where you come and sit with a book (and a glass of wine) and read to yourself silently, along with everyone else! Although I don't get to come here very often, I love that they're here. Such a nice addition to Cynthiana. Cheers!
