We've used Drum numerous times successfully in the past but lately the service has been poor to nonexistent. Now Drum doesn't communicate issues, shows up at unexpected times usually very late, and even says unprofessional things to tenants. I had used Mr. Drum a couple of years ago. Then, he was very fair and the consummate professional. He was willing to come within hours today but suggested I call the city wastewater division first. The city to my surprise came within 45 minutes. The problem was in the main line. According to the young man from the city , was we use too many wipees. Who would've thought!! We had an issue with our upstairs Townhouse kitchen sink. I was abit reluctant to call a professional after having two "handymen" check it for us. The sink was still backing up, draining so slowly. Drum came out the next day, wasn't real sure what to expect, however trusted the reviews I read on line. Mike came out, very professional, nice man, straightforward and honest. The owner was rude during his initial inspection. I caught him in a lie and he became defensive and argumentative. The guys he sent out to complete the repair were late and didn't even know what they were there to do so apparently he is unorganized and does not possess leadership traits or management skills. I have never been treated like this by someone who claims to be a businessman. I can't even talk about the actual service because it didn't go that far. They came out to do camera view of drain pipe. Invited me to view the screen. There was some blockage and drooping of the pipe causing water belly. Instead of expensive replacement, they recommended periodic clean out, until clean out becomes ineffective. Could have up-charged for replacement, but didn't. read more

Mr Drum is the most honest trustworthy person I have encountered in this profession. He works very hard to resolve difficult plumbing issues. He has kept our home from flooding! Mr Drum isn't afraid to share his knowledge. He has repaired a major (attic) hot water heater leak, replaced sink faucet fixtures, repaired our leaking sprinkler system., while remaining the most efficient professional, period. Mike Drum on a Saturday morning answered the phone and then showed up at my door before noon. Two and one half hours later he had replaced a leaking drainpipe in a wall. He tried minimum repair and when it wasn't successful he reattacked and succeeded in stopping the leak. Very professional, knowledgeable and very personable.
