That alone was unreasonable, even for after-hours service. When I questioned the price, the technician didn't handle it professionally--he became defensive and argumentative instead of explaining anything. After I declined, he stayed parked in my driveway for an extended period. When I asked about it, the situation felt uncomfortable and unnecessarily tense. Between the inflated pricing and the way the situation was handled, this was not a good experience. I would not use this company again and would suggest others proceed carefully. Update to my previous review: After being quoted nearly $800 for what I was told was a "necessary" PVC repair, I got a second opinion the very next morning. A licensed plumber completed the entire job for $229 in about 30 minutes--start to finish. Let that sink in. Not only was the original quote wildly inflated, but the repair itself didn't even require what they claimed. Instead of overpriced PVC work, the actual fix was done properly using copper piping--at a fraction of the cost. To make things worse, the owner later called me and doubled down on the pricing, citing his "30+ years of experience," while also claiming I was rude. If questioning an $800 quote for a minor repair is considered rude, then sure--but most people would call that common sense. Between the aggressive pricing, poor communication, and overall experience, nothing about this felt honest or customer-focused.
