My 5 year old and I have been taking piano lessons for about 8 months with Lisa, and she has been truly amazing, she makes learning fun and entertaining we have learned , music theory, Lisa is a brilliant instructor I never thought I would ever understand music theory, but Lisa made that possible for me and my kid. We are learning piano and to see my 5 year old recite her musical notes is truly amazing. If you want to learn an instrument, this is the place to learn.

I liked my other teachers but they either moved too fast or weren't able to teach the techniques, songs, or styles that I wanted to learn. I'm learning finger style guitar and my teacher is Clint. Aside from being a really cool guy, he's an accomplished musician, patient, and willing to spend some time familiarizing himself with the songs and artists I enjoy. If you enroll in lessons, you'll no doubt meet Noah, who is the administrative staff. He's friendly and reliable, if you ever need to contact him to cancel or reschedule a lesson. As a child, I took drum lessons for 10 years and enjoyed that feeling of developing a skill. I have this same feeling again, thanks to the school. If you are considering enrolling in the school, have a brief conversation with Noah, so that he can hook you up with the teacher who will best meet your needs (style, scheduling, etc.). When you have your first lesson, have a similar conversation with your teacher to make sure he/she is aware of your goals, the pace at which you want to learn, type of music, and your expectations. I believe you will have a great experience at this school!

It's…read moredefinitely been tough during the pandemic, and so we were a bit cautious of an in-person music class, but definitely glad that we went ahead and participated. Our daughter was about 18 months at the time, and I would say that overall, she really liked it! It's a bit on the pricey side, honestly, but if your kiddo isn't normally exposed to live music or musical instruments, I would definitely check it out. Bill is a true musician/artist, through and through, and opens up the rest of the rooms after the class for your kiddos to explore. you don't have to worry about "oh no, what if my kid touches something??" Bill welcomes kids to explore and play --- incredibly inviting environment. Julie did a wonderful job creating a sense of community in the class. she has an amazing voice, and engaged us in some fun songs. After some songs, my daughter would say "more!". The only part that made it a little tough was that the sound was quite loud and so was Julie's voice, so it actually made my daughter cry a couple of times (she is a bit sensitive to noise, though!) My husband is a musician of sorts, so our daughter has been exposed to several instruments already, but this place has quite a few more :)

YES A GOOD MUSIC ACADEMY!!…read more So my family has been trying to find a good music academy. We finally found one after tons and TONS of researching as well as referrals and I cannot be more please. Took me a while to get this review up but I thought I might as well since I've been active today on Yelp! This academy goes above and beyond. The teachers are kind and my kids love it here. Super nice academy and when I sit in on their lessons, my kids are so so happy! I have a little on at home and want them to be more involved since they're not all about sports at the moment. Honestly 10/10. We chose here instead of a local place because of some concerning rumors and we couldn't be happier!

We were lucky and got to experience Liron Man play for us since he was here for a music convention. He's been playing for 20 years and you can definitely feel how much heart he puts into his music. It is Dave's shop and he was very sweet. He actually makes the hand pans which is very cool. Daniel was our instructor and he was very engaging and funny. I loved his energy. He told us about the different types of handpans and went over the rhythm, melody, harmony, and silence. Daniel was kind and went around the room to individually help everyone. I'm so glad I got to try it out. I'll definitely be coming back as it's $75 for an hour lesson. It's also $150 a month to rent out a handpan which also goes toward the payment for if you decide to buy.

After a quick introduction, the story, and the lesson, I realized I indeed wanted one... just a matter of when. The lesson here was amazing. I didn't leave playing a full-fledged song (I'm a first-timer), but I left with knowledge, motivation, and a thirst for more. There was no pressure to buy any instruments or to sign up for any products. The only difficult part was finding parking. The plaza is U-shaped, with businesses along the U but not much parking around for customers. Some cars were parked in unofficial spots, so I would recommend planning for parking during your visit.

I was checking out a couple of music studios in the area for my then 8-year-old daughter to study…read morevoice & piano and came to visit here. Upon arrival for our appointment, there was no one to greet us as the entire place was empty. I thought it very strange that the door was left unlock - anyone could've cleaned out the place. After sitting in the waiting area for 30 mins (I don't know why I even bothered waiting that long), I finally decided to email back the contact I had been corresponding with (as they never left me a phone number to call nor did they ask for mine; I had no idea who I was corresponding with as they never addressed himself/herself). Additionally, I decided to text the number listed on the business' Yelp page as it looked like a mobile number, hoping it will get to the same individual. They eventually texted me back they were running late (50 mins after the appointment time) and to help myself to coffee in the conference room. A gentleman comes in another 10 mins later, apologizing that the manager got sick and sent him to meet me in her place. He escorted us to the conference room to go over the program and the classes they offered. To no fault of his own, I can see he was trying his best to sell the school but at that point, I was already turned off and found the whole establishment unprofessional. Even my daughter said she preferred a different studio than this one. I'm sure they have great instructors/staff but they really need to work on improving the administrative/customer service aspect as that is the first impression of all potential clients/students. He mentioned there was a registration fee, but after the appointment debacle, you would think they would've considered waiving it. Additionally, if the manager was going to be late, the only decent thing to do was to notify me. This is a good example of why you need to scout/visit different places before just settling on one as reviews can often be skewed.

I called them finally on Tuesday and she said she got my message and was "getting to it", then they said my child just had to miss her lesson for that week when we have already paid for 16 weeks. Also, if your school has a break or holiday, don't expect to receive all of the lessons you've already paid for, they just skip those and don't give makeups for them. Futhermore, they do not let you communicate with the instructor directly at all. I was trying to text our instructor to let her know what days we're available and the person from the office said No, I do the instructor's schedule you don't need to contact them. I think the price is pretty good for in home lessons though. My issues are not with the instructor at all she is lovely and knows all types of instruments.
