They are definitely some of the most expensive tax professionals on the market being 3-5x more expensive than my prior accountants, but considering poor/nonexistent communication and not responding to my emails and calls is what cost me $8k+ in tax penalties, for me it is worth the premium price (although, I have yet to get first bill from them, so we'll see haha). But whatever you do, do NOT go to Daylen at Klingler Associates or Brady at High Country Finance unless you want to start getting a dozen+ IRS letters a week telling you your taxes were done wrong and you owe penalties!!

The meeting was an extreme disappointment! I am sure Janet is knowledgeable in her field, but she was very difficult to talk to. I paid for an initial consultation to discuss tax implications of short term rentals. I wouldn't normally review, but I wish I could have read a review like this before I paid so much! She interrupted me repeatedly when I asked my questions. She would take one word I said and go on long tangents and stories about other clients, etc. What's worse is she was honestly just rude. She got mad at me and seemed appalled at the questions I had. I tried to ask her to look at some of the literature I had read about STRs and she would not, saying that she already knew all about it. Which, maybe she does, but I was there to have her help walk me through and understand the process better and she was not willing to. The entire meeting was extremely frustrating and it took everything I had to not just walk out. I still can't believe I paid so much for such an irritating and unproductive experience. Janet seems very knowledgeable, but did not seem so on the STR side of real estate, she was not very open-minded, did not give good clear answers and was difficult to discuss ideas with - she instantly would balk at any idea I presented, without trying to understand my intentions and instead would tell me how ridiculous or dumb it was and then go on a long tangent about other clients or accountants, etc., etc. If you would like to have a discussion to understand tax ramifications of Real Estate and STRs I would recommend you save yourself the frustration and the money and go somewhere else.

Beehive really did all the work filed anything that needed to be done and then met with us at the courthouse to speak with the judge. In addiiton to that they had reversed several garnishments that had taken place which I was very impressed when I actually opened the mail and saw the actual check. I never thought this was going to happen and I was not expecting it either but they made everyone pay us back after filing. They were genuine and were professional. p.s. they are busy and they have dates and requirements you have to follow through with as a client. they dont have time to check to make sure you did this or that so YOU DO WHAT YOU AGREED TO DO and THEY WILL SEE THE REST THROUGH. Excellent service!

RUN!! FIND ANOTHER WAY!!…read moreSTAY AWAY FROM HERE!! I would give them ZERO stars but you have to give one to leave a review. Trying my best to stay away from curse words I wouldn't recommend them to my enemy. You pay them yet they make you do all the ground work. Then they tell you to keep an eye on your email. By the way, your email explodes with spam. Therefore, every day you are going through thousands of emails to "maybe" find the one they sent you because they will not respect you enough to call you to tell you that they sent you one. God forbid you miss one and need them to resend it because If you call them to inquire about your case they treat you like an inconvenience or talk down to you as if you had no business calling them. If I had to do it all over again, I would go online to find the forms and do it myself. Would probably cost less and have just as many frustrations. I repeat - RUN!! FIND ANOTHER WAY!! STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!

Our family's experience with Mark Barnes, an associate at Michelle Turpin PC was negative. He…read morerefused to give his Utah State Bar number when asked, scheduled a meeting he was 40 minutes late for, then changed the location at the last minute which is very unprofessional and rude. He made unsubstantiated allegations to try to deceptively create evidence in the court case. When his message was presented to police, they explained Mr. Barnes was trying to corroborate his false accusations by using misleading language. While in court he accused his own witness, lawyer Miles Brody of Moody Brown Law, of being a liar. He shamelessly discredited Mr. Brody's testimony in front of the judge, just so he could win his case. Mr. Barnes was unprepared for court, turning his evidence in only hours before the trial when it was asked to be submitted 5 days prior by the court as to gain an unfair advantage. I do not recommend Mark Barnes and would seek representation elsewhere because of his disgraceful behavior in and out of court, not confirming if his facts were accurate, and unable to provide evidence to verify his statements. I am unfamiliar with Michelle Turpin because I only dealt with her associate, Mark Barnes.
