I'm an out-of-state student in the area and thought I had a filling fall out, so I booked an appointment here. It turns out it was just a piece of the bonding material that I lost and that was fine -- but while I was there, Dr. Zarella caught a cavity on x-ray that my regular dentist had missed. It was an important one to fix asap, so I had it done right away. I usually have a hard time getting numbed but he made sure I couldn't feel anything before starting, and the whole procedure was super easy. I know I should expect to have a relatively painless and comprehensive visit whenever I go to the dentist, but it doesn't always happen. It did today! A secretary answered the phone with an attitude. She was rude and condescending. She didn't even listen to my questions and rather put me on hold. Would not go here if I were you. Unless you want to be treated as a second class citizen. I can't say the DMDs are in on it. But it's bad for business if you are making clients feel like beggars. read more

Although I've never met Dr. Light, the office staff and Dr. Conforti are superb to say the least. Everyone there is so friendly and on time, and it seems like they truly love their jobs. Dr. Conforti looks young, but he is so much wiser beyond his years. He spends a great deal of time on me every time I go in, whether it's to get cavities filled or any other dental/jaw complaints. I don't know how he spends so much time on me when he has so many patients (the charts in the office can attest to that)! He explains things very clearly, and he makes sure you know what he's doing so that he doesn't charge you for unnecessary procedures. He also makes sure that I don't feel a thing when I get my cavities filled. I know I can trust him with my teeth. On top of that, he likes tennis, my favorite sport! I recently scheduled an appointment to examine my TMJ, which was hurting. I scheduled the appointment for 1:45 pm, but I got caught up in work and totally forgot. Luckily, a staff member called me at 2:00 pm to ask if I was still coming. I apologized profusely and got there at around 2:15 pm. I was 30 minutes late, but somehow Dr. Conforti still saw me when I came in, and the hygienist was able to give me a cleaning after a 30-minute wait. I have to say, Dr. Conforti is an amazing dentist. I hope he and Dr. Light stay here for as long as possible. My experiences with this practice have always been excellent! EDIT: Dr. Light is also extremely friendly (not a surprise) when I saw him to touch up my night guard. These two professionals make an incredible team! read more

I just took my 7 year old daughter to Dr Conforti For the first time to treat cavity. He did an amazing job making her feel comfort and calm. He explained carefully the procedure and made sure we understood all the procedure and steps. He gave her local anesthetic and did not use any general anesthesia. Very patient and kind. read more

Dr. Conforti is the best doctor I've had as he is super professional and caring. Along with being highly skilled and dedicated to executing every procedure with extreme care, he is incredibly friendly and personable throughout every appointment. Unlike other doctors that merely go through the motions, you can clearly tell Dr. Conforti goes above and beyond in which he actually cares about every patient like family as he takes the extra time/effort to ask about how you're doing, what your concerns are, etc... The office staff and hygienists are also ultra nice and courteous. Dr. Champagne was very funny, nice, and straightforward. Unfortunately, today was his last day at the practice, as he is retiring. Today was my first day at this office and I thought that everyone from the reception desk, to the dental hygienist, to Dr. Champagne were all very friendly and helpful. Saw the reviews on Yelp a while back and decided to try out the office. I usually avoid dental trips unless something hurt... badly lol but I had been missing a tooth and really wanted to have it replaced with a fake tooth. Well after getting a warm greeting when I entered, I have to cautiously admit that I felt much more at ease. Dr. Conforti was able to see me right away and explained options I could have to replace my missing tooth. The one that sounded the best to me was the implant. The office has a CT machine in it and while I was a little skeptical about the necessity of that X-ray, once Dr. Conforti showed me the 3D images and explained to me how these pictures helped make my procedure as safe as possible, I was sold. The implant procedure took 30 minutes and I was done!! I was a little sore the day of but the soreness was similar to a cut you'd get by biting your cheek, really not that bad. All in all the office gets an A+. Everyone was great but most importantly Dr. Conforti. They gained a long term patient! read more

I've given this office 5 starts because I am an extremely happy customer. I have had multiple Dentists over the years including both military and private practice. Dr. Conforti is the best of them all. Anytime you have to give up control and let a Doctor work on any part of your body it can be a bit unnerving. Though I'll never be completely relaxed at the Dentist Office Dr. Conforti and his staff make the experience very pleasant. I try to take very good care of my teeth so I'm usually in an out in no time. I especially like the tv's in exam rooms. All the staff at the office are very warm and welcoming. The office is very easy for me to get to right off of the highway and free off street parking in the back of the office is a plus. Dr. Conforti is a wealth of knowledge so feel free to ask him any questions about your current teeth cleaning regiment and he will give you the scoop on what you are doing right and what can be done better. Phobic? Some of us 50s era folks had BAD DENTISTS as children; enough to put you off going for life! But as my friend Heather says, gotta take care of your teeth because your mouth's a closed system; get something going in there and egad your brain is right next door! So: my husband shoving me from behind, this May I was pushed into Dr Jason Conforti's examining room. I promise you, however phobic you are, I'm worse! That appt, we just talked while I took measure of the vibes. His trusty sidekick Maddie and Dr Conforti listened to my wild tales with close attention and concern, unalloyed by even the teensyest hint of condescension. I've been going practically weekly ever since, fixing one tooth at a time (my choice) and we laugh, talk movies, swap jokes. I'm in my forties and have had four dentists in my life. Dr. Light is by far the best I've ever had. Great chair-side manner, super-knowledgeable and highly skilled. The only downside is that he isn't a member of any insurance network. His office will bill your insurance but you don't get the in-plan rates. But he is so good that I pay the extra. If you need a dentist, I doubt you'll find better. Voted as one of the top dentists in RI by RI Monthly Magazine. He's the real deal. read more

After years of going to the same dentist (that shall remain nameless) and being dissatisfied I decided to try this office one day after strolling around Wayland Sq. I must admit it was the cool looking outside glass windows that got me inside, but it was the level of care, respect and courtesy that made me decide to become a regular patient. I was greeted happily at the front desk when I explained my situation that I was coming to the office because I was dissatisfied with my current provider and just wished to try someone new. The receptionist understood and explained to me the process that was necessary if I wanted to switch, but said I could book a consult to meet with the doctor and possibly get a cleaning, sounded good to me. The Doctor I met with was Dr. Conforti and I gotta say he was pretty cool. He made me feel at ease right away and before you know it we were chatting about sports like old college buddies. He asked about my past experiences at the dentist and why I wanted to change and treated me like I was already a regular patient. I admitted that I never really was fond of the dentist and felt the offices really sterile and impersonal. Dr. Conforti assurred me that this office was committed to making all clients have the best possible experience and it sure felt like he was sincere. I mean I wasn't even a permanant patient yet and here was the Doc spending like 20min. with me talking about my concerns! What!? My experience was always to see the dentist for like 5min. at the end of my cleaning to just hit my teeth a bit with his tools and send me on my way. Plus the office was well lit with natural light and a cool flat screen TV to watch, this was defintely not my typical dentist experience. Anyway, I had a cleaning which went great! ( the hygenist was equally awesome) and I completed the transfer process and am now a regular patient at the office. Dr. Conforti even convinced me to get two cleanings a year (previously I was a once a year guy) and I can honestly say my teeth have never looked or felt better. The Dentist used to be a dreadful experience, but definitely no longer! Keep up the great job guys! read more

Dr. Conforti and his staff are absolutely amazing! I was so scared to see a dentist after not seeing one for over 5 years. Between work, starting a family and just life in general, I just let myself go. I knew I needed a lot of work and was afraid of what he would tell me, but after my first meeting with Dr. Conforti, he made me feel relaxed and reassured that together we could come up with a plan that would best meet my needs. He had a way of explaining things to me that just made sense and made sure I was always involved. I can't tell you how good it felt to finally understand what was going on in my mouth. It's been 2 years since that first meeting and I've never been happier about my mouth and my smile. I brought husband and kids to the office and Dr. Conforti sees them too. He's been especially great with my youngest Annabelle who's only three. She actually enjoys going to the dentist, just like her Mom! read more
