We watched many other homes and builders struggle with severe delays, subs, supplies, and incomplete or inferior results. However, due to Acklins experience, common sense judgment, relationships with sub-contractors, hard work ethics, and expert knowledge, we watched our home translate from architectural plans into a structurally sound and magnificent one-of-a-kind home that was nothing short of spectacular. The drywall and insulation was removed down to bare studs. 3/4 of the way through, the construction manager was fired, then the company went out of business. a friend recommended I call Sabian Vasquez from Vasquez Construction. Unfortunately, the visible black cord that was on the side of mailbox looked increasingly tacky each time I looked at it. My husband and I racked our brains on ways we could hide/camouflage the cord and we finally decided the best way would be to dig out the mortar between stones and hide the cord that way, running it to the back of the mailbox . I email Crosby Home Services and Chris responded within an hour. He was able to come out the same day to look at the job. We discussed what I wanted and he and he gave me a quote that I thought was reasonable. He said he would call me on Friday and let me know when his crew would be able to start. He called on Friday and scheduled the work to begin the following Tuesday. His crew showed up at 7:00am and started putting the wall up. These two guys knew what they were doing. Very professional, answered all of my questions and did a great job. I will call Chris again for future projects. Chris dropped the price because he had quoted for three guys to come out and he only sent two. I like dealing with honest people.
