If you are looking for a topnotch contractor to support your home improvement or renovation…read morerequirements, I highly recommend considering Pine Ridge Renovation & Construction, LLC. Fred Aziz is the owner (General Contractor ROC# 350558). Fred is personable, communicates well, timely (keeps his project schedule commitments), affordable, and, most importantly, produces top quality results. We were fortunate to find Fred after interviewing several contractors for a major renovation project on a home we recently purchased in Hassayampa. Fred is very "hands-on," completing most of the work himself (i.e., very few, if any, subs). He frequently updates you on progress and seeks your input on materials and design considerations. Fred is relatively new to the Prescott area (having been here about one year), but he is not new to construction. He has years of experience, including running his own business in Thousand Oaks, CA. I can't think of anything Fred isn't capable of handling. He has a wide array of talents and skills. Prescott is filled with a lot of mediocre contractors (from landscaping to roofing, you name it). Fred is the needle in the haystack! Again, highly recommend Pine Ridge. Call Fred at 928-450-6577. Or you can email him at pineridgerc@gmail.com. You won't be disappointed.

We interviewed 11 other builders and we were so grateful we decided to contract with Gary and Glenn during the unpredictable economic times that started almost as soon as our build began. We watched many other homes and builders struggle with severe delays, subs, supplies, and incomplete or inferior results. However, due to Acklins experience, common sense judgment, relationships with sub-contractors, hard work ethics, and expert knowledge, we watched our home translate from architectural plans into a structurally sound and magnificent one-of-a-kind home that was nothing short of spectacular. We can't say enough about Gary, Glenn, and their team, especially Anthony and Marcus, who were there every step of the way. They went above and beyond. The Acklin Brothers team are honest, dependable, and just plain good folks. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

My advice for anyone looking at Pelleco:…read more 1. During your walk through, check to see if the design ideas are being written down by the contractor. 2. Do not let construction start until you have your approved design plans / drawings in hand and have personally inspected cabinets (and other elements) in-person prior to installation. 3. Check to insure that sub-contractors are licensed. 4. Be aware that YOU need to contact inspectors to inspect the work, Pelleco will not do that for you. 5. Safety items: Tile floors can contain cancer causing materials. You need to ensure your home is ventilated with an industrial fan during demolition. 6. A few other notes: A) Pelleco does not use a dumpster. Your home is the dumpster, until they can pick up the garbage. B) A portable outhouse will not be provided by Pelleco. C) You will have to inspect the work and notify Pelleco if something is done incorrectly or missed completely--there is very little inspection of work completed. D) Floors will not be leveled unless you specifically require that before the project begins. E. Workmanship requirements, as listed in ROC are unknown by the contractor and will not be managed to ensure a high-quality installation. F. Pelleco told me repeatedly that I expected perfection. I didn't expect perfection, but I did expect the work to be done correctly. I think anyone can see, from the attached photos, that this job was far from perfect. G. Expect to be asked for payment prior to the completion of each phase and the completion of the work overall. Don't fall for this as it will leave you with little leverage to ensure your job is completed and completed correctly. Our job was not completed and warranty items were left to me to repair. Just in case the contractor responds with "changes were made". Every change was done in writing and approved prior to installation. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I've attached a few pictures here.

Gary was great at explaining how our project would go, and was patient when we were deciding on what materials we wanted to use on our new deck. He followed up with us as well. We are going to hire them again, to stain the deck after the waiting period for wood is up. Highly recommend this company, and would use them again in a heartbeat. Thank you Crosby Home Services!

I email Crosby Home Services and Chris responded within an hour. He was able to come out the same day to look at the job. We discussed what I wanted and he and he gave me a quote that I thought was reasonable. He said he would call me on Friday and let me know when his crew would be able to start. He called on Friday and scheduled the work to begin the following Tuesday. His crew showed up at 7:00am and started putting the wall up. These two guys knew what they were doing. Very professional, answered all of my questions and did a great job. I will call Chris again for future projects. Chris dropped the price because he had quoted for three guys to come out and he only sent two. I like dealing with honest people.

I wanted my new home to reflect my own taste with modern updating and style. A friend recommended that I contact Mitchell Development. I'm so glad I did. During remodeling Bill discovered several problems and safety issues that had not been addressed in the past. There was a leak in a water line that was causing damage to my wood floors not to mention mold and a damp, musty odor. There were plumbing and electrical issues that needed to be brought up to code and made safe for me and my family. They fixed everything, they didn't just patch over it. I was kept informed every step of the way. It was a pleasure to work with a company with integrity and they stand behind their work. There are so many decisions to make during the process and they guided me easily from beginning to end. They even suggested some design elements that I had not even considered. I'm thrilled with the result. My new home turned out better than I ever imagined.

I lined him up in November 2019 for a deck extension to accommodate a new hot tub. By the time the tub was delivered in early December, Billy still hadn't started on the deck. So I impressed on him that we needed it done by March so we could have it ready for rental season. I checked on progress on March 31. He still hadn't even started. I leaned into him about the horrible schedule slippage and lack of communication, and I offered to pay the $18,000 in advance so that my project could get his attention. He agreed to get on it. But the next day, he texted that he was quitting the job entirely. I called, but he wouldn't take my call. I asked for a reference to another contractor, and he wouldn't give me one. I should have gotten Billy under contract, but I trusted his word that he would complete the work. Good guy, but unreliable at his word; if you use him, get a contract and manage him to it.
