The air is fresh and it does have roof coverings. The only issue I ever had was going after several days of rainy weather and the road was slick. I really enjoy this range. It feels safer than indoor ranges because the range officers are right there with the shooters. I highly recommend.

I had a bad experience having my boat serviced. I went in saying I am afraid I didn't winterize…read moreproperly which could mean the block was cracked. Brad found the starter needed replacing. Then the fuel pump needed replacing. $2000 later they say my boat is ready. I take it on the lake only to find water mixing with the oil and blowing out all over. So cracked block after all. They should have tested for that initially. But I did go along with it all. I was just excited to think I hadn't ruined it. Also, my boat seems to not be a high priority to them. I had to keep calling back for them make any progress on it. So, if you use them for service be very involved and be careful what you approve.

I've been a to a few axe throwing establishments by now, and was excited to try a pretty local one…read morerecommended by a coworker. If you're familiar with Kersey Valley, they have a broad selection of activities throughout the year, and in this case offer both indoor and outdoor throwing. Our group couldn't get together until the evening, and I was excited to see 8pm on a Wednesday as an option. Online booking was easy, though i did find it frustrating that the minimum number of tickets is 3, which prevents this from being a couple's date night activity. No bother for us, we had three anyways. The instructions in the email said to meet by a light pole with a sign that says "escape rooms meet here". From the parking lot, that made absolutely no sense, and I did not see any signs to guide us. At 8 PM on a Wednesday, the place is vacant and it almost felt like trespassing. But we did find one random person who told us to walk past the ticket booth towards some picnic tables, and we eventually found the sign. When our "Axepert" finally found us, he made it comment that he was expecting us to be in the parking lot. This could stand to be clarified on both ends of the table. The two guys we worked with (one was in training) were professional and very friendly. They walked us down to the axe throwing area and talked about other activities offered at Kersey Valley during the walk. If we were to do it again, it seems like the outdoor axe throwing activity is the better option (more space and variety), but because we could not come until the evening we were limited to indoor for this adventure. The location of the indoor axe throwing is a relatively small building with only two lanes. There is limited seating on the other side of the chain-link fence for a few other people. You're not going to be bringing a big group here. I do appreciate that there was air-conditioning in the space on a hot Summer day. While I know that the focus is on maintaining safety, and that they want to teach you how to do the sport, at times it felt like a bit too much handholding and close direct observation. There were times where that was nice, but eventually it would be nice to allow our group to just enjoy the activity, even if we're not that good at it. I would have preferred about 10 to 15 minutes of instruction, and the remaining hour to be left as free throwing time. Overall, we had a good experience. The staff were friendly. That said, I feel like there are better options in the area which are larger spaces and allow more independent time to play. If you were already doing another activity at Kersey Valley, this would be a fun addition. But I wouldn't make a special trip just for the axe throwing.

Very neat different activity to do and a great place to learn!…read more My wife and I started going to Mickey and Penny's Shag lessons just prior to COVID. She had talked about wanting to learn, and while I had seen people do it my whole life, I knew nothing about it! We signed up for the beginner classes and showed up! The lessons themselves are in the basement of Mickey and Penny's house and it is an awesome set up! Plenty of room, neat lighting and decorations all around! Penny and Mickey do a fantastic job of making everyone feel welcome and helping everyone no matter their skill level! Of course they are both fantastic shaggers that have previously competed, but they are also great teachers of the Shag! It did not take us long at all to at least be comfortable enough to go with a group from class to shag out in public one night! Unfortunately after a few lessons, COVID came about and we were not able to continue for about a year. We have recently started back and picked back up where we left off! Some of the couples in the beginners group are the same and there are some new ones, but everyone is super nice and just looking forward to having fun while also learning to do the Carolina Shag! I would definitely suggest Mickey and Penny for Shag lessons whether you are looking to get very good and compete in Shag, or just looking to learn enough to have fun on the weekends or at a party or two!

They are safe but pretty tired. There is a round pen to use too The women in the restaurant are super friendly and want to please. Usual horseshow food ( burgers, hot dogs,and bbq) Great place for clubs to put on a show
