Had an appt April 10, 2021 @1pm, upon arrival we were greeted by Brandon who was pleasant but rushed. My partner and I were both in the market for vehicles but my partner needed a new license. Brandon immediately began paperwork on my partner with little to no communication while William was assisting me. William was cool and collected. We test drove 2 vehicles in which I decided on the Ford Fusion. I couldn't obtain insurance same day so William instructed me to return that following Monday. I received 2 calls from Destiny on Monday. 1st one to instruct I come retrieve "my car" within 5 days and the 2nd to let me know "my car" was unobtainable due to a dead battery. Their service team couldn't remove the battery so my options were "to wait until the car returns from the shop, in which I have no ETA for ; or you may return to the store to look at other options" Immediately I requested a manager to speak with. Tia, the manager, came to the phone and I expressed how inconvenient this was for me considering I had already paid my down payment and arranged to drive off the lot in my car today. Tia cuts me off to reiterate "I understand your frustration, we can issue you a full refund for your down payment or you may choose another car" . I told Tia i'll be stopping by later that day and provided details alternative option I wanted to test drive as well. When I arrived later that day the car was out front ready for the test drive. It drove well but we had some cosmetic concerns in which Brandon instructed me TWICE "if you are unsatisfied with the car you may get a full refund or choose another option. We are understaffed today and someone will be with you momentarily". We waited about 15 min before Ralph approached and began the closing process. He checked the car thoroughly, was attentive and informative but also hasty. As I read over the paperwork they asked me to sign , including the tag registration, his impatience grew to the point of irritation and he left us saying "I got to go so let me get you a manager to help you" Tia came over with the same haste as I inquired about why my gross income on the contract reflected a much higher amount monthly. Tia reiterated that the bank does the numbers and she knew nothing about that. She also exuded an impatient air and we assumed it was because the store closed at 7pm and it was 7:35pm at that time. Customer service at this location is piss poor and everyone is borderline unprofessional. Overall experience was FORGETTABLE to say the least. I have 5 days to return the car and I just might. I'm already weighing my option at the Union City branch where I'm hoping the service will be up to par so I'll walk away with the car I want and feeling like I made the right decision. read more
