Looks like my review has been deleted on google reviews but here's my backstory.
I'm not normally the type to make a review like this, especially since I brought both my vehicles for an alignment and was told this is a good spot to get one. I'm not sure if it was only my alignments but after looking at the FDs, Subarus, and other cars these guys work on im pretty confident they do have top notch workmanship. But here's my experience.
I brought my 97 pathfinder here to get it aligned after I did the whole front end with brand new parts and a high quality lift kit from australia. Was told the alignment wouldn't be straight even though I used camber bolts and all the right parts. Had the vehicle aligned before and it was perfect straight, ( this time I changed a CV axle ) hence why I needed an alignment. After driving the car for a couple weeks i noticed how it pulls ever so slightly to the right, and steering wheel shakes.
I brought my fully built 1997 GSX here as well, had it aligned, steering wheel and car drove straight. Still had excessive camber. They put the car on the hoist, even showed me why they thought it can't be adjusted and kept suggesting I needed adjustable arms. The technician who took my car off the alignment machine stalled the car and grinded the hell out of first gear trying to get the car going it literally made my back shiver listening to how bad it was, and mind you this is a custom transmission put together which cost over 7k. Longer ratio evo 1 first gear, HD 3-4, 5th, R. Not to mention riding the hell out of a $3000 triple disc clutch off the ramp.
Took it to another shop that had previously done my pathfinders alignment and had everything 0 out perfectly. Car drives straight. No issues at all what so ever. As for my GSX, upper and lower control arms were loosened, upper had adjustable OEM arms ( loose two bolts and the arm moves in or out) and the bottom arm every so slightly loose. Camber was minimized instantly. It was so obvious to them after seeing drivehards alignment on paper that they didn't do anything for camber adjustment.
I wasn't going to make a review but after opening my transmission casing to get the 3-4 gearset face plated I saw small metal shards where it
Grinding on first gear ( all on the neodymium magnet) Now this is a piss off as I'm stuck trying to find something to work for my first gear, not sure if it's still usable or not which is going to be a huge setback as it took me a year to source parts for it. I work in a shop myself and honestly would never let myself or anyone drive a customers car if I knew they weren't capable of doing so.
Update: excessive positive camber in the front destroyed $1500 Cooper STT Pro tires and wrecked the wheel bearing on PS front. They have done nothing to contact me for a resolution or reimbursement. Very unprofessional shop. read more
