I'm really not a fan of golf spots from the perspective of playing. I'm a lefty and I find it awkward even with the left hand clubs. Maybe cause I never mastered it...ha ha get it, masters...it. Such a fun place! If you don't golf you can still have fun here. I have only golfed twice before and I was really bad at it. I was hesitant to go on this outing with my friends. Twenty-five of us went and only a few were true golfers. We played in groups of 6 and the staff guided us through the instructions. I sucked - my group sucked - we loved it! Basically you just hit golf balls! We also had a buffet lunch that was actually very good - especially the chocolate chip cookies! There is plenty of parking and there is room for many, many groups of friends to play together. There is food available and there is a bar. I first came here for a Yelp event a few years ago. We all had a super fun time. Recently went back with my son and a few of his friends. We all ordered food and drinks. We had the smashburger and chicken sandwiches. They were pretty good. I'm a grip it and rip it kind of golfer, so hitting targets isn't exactly my forte. I've been coming to Drive Shack since they opened and I've always had a great experience. Wednesdays are our new thing there as they are 50% off on game time and pizza. We arrived and had a bit of a wait if we needed to hit the 2nd or 3rd floor. 1st floor was no wait time. We decided to wait as we have a kid with us who needed the extra floor. We enjoyed playing corn hole near the bar while we waited. It was super easy as they texted us alerting us which bay to walk to. When we got to our bay, the screen greets you with your name. The software is very easy to use. We entered players names and selected a game of choice. There is a countdown so you won't go over an hour if you didn't want to. I love transparency. During this time, we ordered nachos, pretzels, a burger and drinks. They all arrived fairly quickly and the 3 of us were able to play and eat all within an hour. Went as a group, some of us have been there and for others it was their first time. When we checked in we reserved the bay for an hour and were told we could easily add on more time if we wanted. We were there on a Monday afternoon so it wasn't overly busy. Near the end of our hour we wanted to extend the time and our waitress/one of the bartenders told us that in the future we need to know how many hours we'd like ahead of time because it's not that easy to add on time anymore. She also added that the front desk person is new. After we added an extra hour the screen kept turning off and the sensors were off/not picking up people's turns. read more

I love that we have a cool option for entertainment that is kid-friendly, active, and centrally located. Located around the corner from PBI Airport, you can't miss this place due to the giant nets visible from Belvedere Road. There is ample free parking available. Drive Shack as a building is designed with thought and attention to detail. The space is modern, clean, and fun. Renting a bay (or two next to each other, in my case) ensures a fun time for a group. Similar to bowling, a group sits together as people take turns using the golf system. It is fun to just sit in the couch and chat with your people even without playing the golf. It's a great way to mingle and mix while also having something to do. The computer system that controls the golfing was, similar to bowling, a bit off when I most recently visited. If our server didn't hit a button in time, all of our info was lost and we had to re-enter names in order to play another round; this doesn't really make sense and is frustrating. My kids really wanted to play the 'hit the monsters' game on the tv screen, but it was difficult to hit the ball forward when the tv screen is behind the golfing area. We also didn't see any kid-friendly clubs, but then just tbh I know very little about golf. The menu served at the bays was not my cup of tea, but everyone else in my party seemed to think it was just fine. I did order pretzel bites, which were ok, but the sauce it came with was underwhelming (and it seemed I would need to purchase a different kind of sauce?). However, kudos to the kids menu for having affordable eats with healthy-ish sides. After his first visit, my 7-year-old begged to return on a daily basis. We will definitely be back, and if the menu changes seasonly, will consider coming more often :) read more

Fun activity to do in WPB, whether or not you golf regularly!! Rent a bay (different prices for different times), and either practice your golf swing or compete with friends and family. I would recommend making a reservation ahead of time. Each bay has a couch (or a high top), everything is modern (on a computer), and it's a great setup for a social environment. People of all ages are here (including kids). You have unlimited golf balls and access to golf clubs, if you don't bring your own (included in the price). They have golf clubs for kids, as well as left-handed people. Several fun games are available on the computer (just note, some require you to hit the golf ball PAST the yellow circles to register the ball/swing; difficult if you're not able to hit the ball hard). Only downfall of this place is they have limited servers, so if it's busy there will be a wait. The wait staff is super friendly though; we really enjoyed having David last weekend. Also, the food is 1/5 stars. Basic bar food, nothing will "wow" you. Best thing on the menu would be the chicken tinga quesadillas and the beef sliders. First time I was here they sat me at my correct reservation time. Second time they sat me an hour after my planned reservation time. Just a heads up if you're on a set time schedule! You are given the opportunity to extend your game once your time is up. I will definitely return here and would recommend to others for a fun day (or night) out with friends! read more

I've been to another Drive Shack a few times before trying this location so I came in with expectations. Be prepared to sweat- there are fans, but it's still Florida in summer. We made a reservation for 1pm and were led to the bay which had dirty plates etc.--I get it, but there were 5 open bays to the left that were clean. The staff was very nice, but there was a disconnect with readiness and sense of urgency (cleaning up broken glass by our table). The pretzel bite and slider appetizers were good and plenty of bucket options for beer or seltzers. Many of the games were fun and it's definitely more affordable compared to top golf. read more

The place is large and clean .And they offer their own clubs so you don't need to bring them. The game choices are many from golf courses like St Andrews to skill games like Darts.
