The owner, Pete, was very accommodating and professional about the whole situation and scheduled my drives quickly and efficiently. They give you full driving lessons here, starting with parking strategies and real-world applications of what will be on the driving test at the DMV. They really prepared me for my driving test as well as what I see on the road every day while driving. The instructor that I had was very friendly and respectful towards me. Totally recommend.

Fantastic experience with COOP's! My son loved the instructors both in class room and behind the…read morewheel and we as parents love that they are almost all police officers!!! Very responsive any time I've reached out for help and we've had no issue what so ever scheduling behind the wheel training or make up classes. Make ups can be done either at a couple of different time slots during the week with a self-taught option, or you can wait for that day's class to be retaught in another session and the student can sit in on it. Per SOS rules, driving sessions have to be 2 weeks apart minimum and students have to hold their permits for 9 months, so really there's plenty of time to get drives in unless you have a super inflexible, jam packed schedule. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience - far more convenient than doing it over the summer through the school for my mid spring term bday son and it didn't take up a timeslot in his school day either. Plus, again, the bonus of law enforcement officers as instructors. Win win win all the way around! Highly recommend.

After my child took the classroom portion, I was called to sign her up for behind the wheel to…read morecomplete both parts within 9 months. For several reasons I was holding off on the driving portion, which for any other driving school is fine. I was told from drivers edge that the state would "revoke" my child's permit if it wasn't done; totally false information - after speaking to 2 other driving schools and the DMV. The SCHOOL is the one who revokes the permit. This was a bullying tactic to get my child in within the timeframe so drivers edge could get their money. The horrid office person, Rachel, was one of the most rude, ignorant people I've ever dealt with, and I've been in customer service for many, many years. She refused to give me the number to the state person she told me does the revoking (because she was obviously lying.) Tim, the owner, was very nice and really tried to work things out, but after dealing with such a nasty person that he employs I just couldn't give any more of my hard earned money to support her paycheck. After I told him this and that I was going to take my child to finish up elsewhere, he actually started bad mouthing another driving school. I never told him who I spoke with, but it was the one he was putting down, and the shame is that the other school said not one bad thing about drivers edge. They just gave me the facts that the state doesn't revoke permits, it's either the driving school or the high school (for extremely poor grades.) My advice is ask if they will revoke your child's permit if they don't complete the course within 9 months, because it seems this is the only driving school with this policy. Also, go with someone who appreciates you as a customer and you want to support, not people who lie and are rude.
