I am writing this after actually living with this loan for over a year, because I wish someone had explained this to me before I signed. I bought a used 2018 Nissan Rogue from Drive Casa in May 2024. At the time, I needed a car quickly for work and did not fully understand how expensive the financing really was. Here is the reality in simple terms: * $2,000 down payment * About $11,700 paid so far in monthly payments * Only about $4,600 of that went toward the car * Over $7,000 went to interest and fees * As of December 2025, I still owe almost $14,000 * The interest rate is around 22 percent * The contract now ends September 2028 That means I have paid almost $14,000 total and the balance barely moved. This is how high interest loans work. Most of your payment goes to the lender first, not the car. I am not saying this is illegal. I am saying it is very easy to agree to something you do not fully understand, especially if you are young, stressed, or need a car fast. If I could rate 0 stars I would. Absolutely the worst and least professional "car lot" I've ever been to. Waiting 3 hours for a car to be delivered with an expected time of 30 min delivery. All 3 cars we test drove none of them had working AC and all were poorly serviced. Seller complained and tried to lie to us about how the delivery driver drove the car, once we proved him wrong with the on board menu, he acted like we hadn't been in the building for 5 hours total dealing with this. Delivery guy was absolutely atrocious at his job and floored the car that usually gets 29 mpg on the hwy down to 13 mpg over a 1 HOUR TRIP. My grandmother was with me who's on oxygen for COPD had to wait in the building which was 85 degrees. Absolutely would never recommend this place unless you want a messed up car with even worse customer service and professionalism. ****STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE PLEASE***I purchased a vehicle from their Fort Worth location on the 1st of September. Since then I have invested $2,588 into a vehicle that is now unsafe to drive. I have been trying to contact service for almost 2 weeks (since 27th of September) to have it picked up to no avail. I have called the FW office and spoke to sales who sent an email to service, I have called the payment center who has also sent an email to sales, and have called service 19 times to try to have the vehicle repaired(only spoke to someone twice). I have been told I would be called to arrange pick up(it hasn't been), I have been told the manager would call(they have not) and I am still expected to make timely payments. I get a text message the next day from this number (972) 277-1143. So I call and tell this man that I am still looking for a car because Drive Casa had nothing I wanted. He gave me two options Drive Casa and Auto City... I told him that I was already at Drive Casa the day before and that Fy had just found me something that I was on my way to that location to see this Lincoln he found for me. While getting dressed Frank Lopez calls me and tells me that he is the MANAGER at Drive Casa in Fort Worth and that he has MY DREAM CAR on the lot.. he even sent me pictures.. when I TELL YOU I WAS SO HAPPY AND FELT LIKE THE LORD HAD ANSWERED MY PRAYERS. It was the exact year, color, and interior I have been wanting for over a year now... the exact car on my VISION BOARD.. so I told him I was on my way to Drive Casa to see Fy and he said why would I do that when he has what I want at his location and he is the manager and that the payments I wanted were fine. That the only thing he was going to have an issue with was the down payment and he said that I have to physically be at that location in order for him to call the CEO and negotiate the down payment. But he had leverage with it being at the end of the month they wanted 3000 down but he would be able to work his magic and get it for me at 2200 down with 300 bi weekly payments. So I jumped in the car and drove almost 2 hours to get to his location ONLY FOR THE CAR NOT TO BE THERE. NOW I am a National Sales Manager and I can see right through BS.. and this man is GOOD.. I MEAN HE IS GREAT.. I did not see it coming. I feel sorry for any person looking for a car and this man is their sales person. BECAUSE HE AND HIS MANAGER .. yes I said his Manager.. (he isn't even the manager) are the REASON SALES PEOPLE GET A BAD RAP... so honestly the deceit started when he phoned me and told me the CAR WAS AT HIS LOT.. and it wasn't. We get inside the dealership and he tells me since I was approved for anything on the lot at the other location all I had to do was a paper app there.. So while filling out the paper app.. (the car still not there) now it's like 2 hours and 30 minutes.. and he pulls out the paperwork to show the numbers. And before he lets me see it.. he states well like I said the only thing I have to work on is the down payment and bi weekly payments. I STOP DEAD IN MY TRACKS AND SAY.. You said the payments were fine.. all you had to do was approve the 2200 for down payment. Then he says well I have to call the CEO because they want 3500 down.. now I am LIVID because he told me they originally wanted $3000 down. Now 2 hour and 45 minutes we are at 3500 down ... so I confronted him and I said you lied to me to get me over here.. that is not what you told me. So I walk out and let my husband handle the situation while I took a work call. Then after my call, I signal for my husband to come out of the dealership and ask him what was going on. Then Frank comes out and says he is with his Manager please don't leave and that they are calling the CEO. So Frank comes back out and he says that the CEO says he can do 3000 down and 308.00 in payments. I tell my husband to go inside and speak to the manager after calling Frank out on his lies. I get into the car... shortly after my husband comes back to the car while I was taking a work call. After that call my husband states that the manager said the same thing Frank said.. So then I go inside.. I ask to speak to the manager. I wanted to see how he would handle this situation, manager to manager. He ask me what the issue is. I told him all the lies that Frank told me in front of Frank. Frank denied accountability. Then the manager tells me that he spoke with the CEO of the company and the CEO stated that he could only do the 3000 down ect. while circling.. YES CIRCLING THE NUMBERS as though I was a child and didn't understand. I called him out on that and I told him FLAT OUT.. THE MONEY ISN'T A ISSUE. I CAME IN KNOWING THE DOWN PAYMENT WAS 3000 AND IF I DIDN'T HAVE THAT I WOULDN'T OF WASTED THEIR TIME NOR MINE. HOWEVER INSTEAD OF APOLOGIZING FOR ALL THE LIES (LIES) 1.THE CAR WAS THERE 2.HE WAS THE MANAGER 3.THE DOWNPAYMENT 4.AND THE BI WEEKLY PAYMENTS he wanted to circle the numbers and talk to me slowly as if I didn't comprehend him. I told him how unprofessional I thought their deceit was and I left. As we drove off, almost a mile down the road they call me. I didn't answer. I called Fy Moreno at the Garland location and told him what had just transpired. He apologized and assured me that Drive Casa doesn't operate in that manner and that if I would please not allow their actions to reflect the company.
