My family and I went to this dentist for a few years. He seemed like a nice guy and there was a…read moregreat view from the chair. That was before his receptionist messed up, went psycho over the top mean, and then billed me after lying and then tripping up and admitting she lied about appt. reminder. I'll be honest, just like I was with her, I have to have a reminder call. The receptionist called me at home and wanted to know why I wasn't at the office. I fumbled and apologized and said, "did you call? I was home all day, I didn't get a call." She then (lied) said she called and then went on to say she had left a message on my cell phone as well. When I started using their office, I had them make a note on my chart that they could send texts, but that I don't take messages by cell ( we're a rural area and cell phone coverage is unreliable). I took her at her word, apologized, said I'd pay and asked to reschedule. She continued to be extremely unkind, after I apologized. At the end of the call, I asked, "are we good?" She made it clear we were not. So after I got off of the phone, I checked my caller ID and saw that she had never called. He psycho act was a ruse to cover her screw up.... she had never placed the reminder call. At that point I called her back, told her I'd checked my caller ID, and that she had never called. She lied and said that it was noted in my chart that "texts were OK," and that reasoning led her to leave a message (verbally) on my cell phone. I explained that I had been home all day the day before and she had never called and caller ID proved it. She then said that she'd only called the cell and left a message. lie after lie after lie. I then cancelled all appointments for myself and my family into the future.... and then, even though she caught herself in her own lie, his receptionist still sent me a bill. Miller is an Okay dentist who used to be reasonably priced.....but he doesn't work on fridays, his prices keep going up...we've waited an hour for every appt. for the last year and his receptionist is a iar.

I've been going to this office for 5 years and have never had an issue until recently...I get to my…read moreappt and they are seeing an issue with my insurance and i figured it out...It was her mistake of not charging my insurance at the time of visit. Not only did she not do this, but she then had my ss number on a sticky note along with my BD and Phone# AND first and last name....I asked her to shred them and this caused an issue. She refused to shred it, she chose to tear the sheet in half leaving my identity exposed... After I explained my concerns she then asked if I would like to shred it together...as if I'm a child. She was very rude during this time and my returning visit.

You are rolling the dice with this office because they do not check coverage or network eligibility…read moreprior to you showing up. You can take off work and drive an hour or two only to find that you must pay out of pocket when the office can easily run this stuff in advance. You may show up and find out you have to pay cash which is a significant advantage to his practice at your expense. He may have quality care but his office doesn't do much to avoid unnecessary out of pocket expenses that are avoidable. They also can't handle being called out for this practice because they know it is reprehensible. All of this is avoidable. I made an appointment for my elderly mother who was in need of dental care. She could not get into local providers so we made an appointment with Dr. Forsmark's office which is quite a distance from her home. I offered to provide the insurance information through UPHP and Delta but the office said they did not need it now. Mom shows up to the appointment and finds out she is not covered at Dr. Forsmark's office and they never tried to run coverage prior to her showing up. I am sure at this point you can understand the frustration. Dr. Forsmark's office was not sympathetic in any way and were in shock that I would call them out for the practice.
