Terrible communication with this company let alone getting a hold of anybody who can give you…read moreinformation. Signed a quote with the over a year ago January (quote was in January and contacted them late spring / early summer) and mysteriously our quote was never turned in. Made a copy of the quote, details and plan layout and dropped off at their office in person and was told they would turn it in. Called at least 5 times last year saying they would call me back. Only received 2 calls back, and communication about my project was minimal. Kept getting excuses everytime I called. I'm sure my little $5000 project just wasn't enough that they wanted to do. Very poor customer service and extremely poor communication. Will not be using or recommending this place to anyone. Our project was the 1st phase of many which would've been quite expensive by the time all phases were completed, but I will be taking my money elsewhere.

After thinking we found our new lawn and landscape care company I was sorely mistaken. Last years…read moreservices were nothing but disappointing. Main problem: they became busier than they could handle. Everything started to go wrong at the beginning of last spring. We had them come out to start up our irrigation system. They were hard to book. Didn't end up coming until June. Then parts on the irrigation valves had to be replaced even though they replaced them the previous spring. I'll explain more about the irrigation in a little bit. We booked them for all our lawn fertilization and weed control needs. There were supposed to be at least five applications. We only received three. They just couldn't get to us. My dad experienced the same problem at his house. At the beginning of the season they sent us a flier for care for ash trees. Saying they would come and put a protectant on the tree to protect it from ash bores. My husband called them on it twice. We never heard back from them. My husband called for a load of river rock to be brought to the house last summer. The receptionist told him she would not be able to schedule it. They were just too busy. Not let me give you a call later... Just no. So back to the irrigation. This spring we contacted a new company to start up our irrigation. Turns out the valves they replaced TWICE were installed upside down. So again they were busted and would need to be replaced. Nightmare. We literally spent thousands with wapsie pines in the two years we worked with them. But their I experienced workers and inability to take care of existing customers sours me. We're done with them.

Unbelievably unprofessional. . very cheap and flimsy materials. Does not install enough line…read more Sprinkler pipes are only 1 inch below depth and should be at least 6 inches minimum.

I use SprinklerMan for both starting up/blowing out our sprinkler system as well as fertilizing…read more The people that are sent out every year to start the system up actually check each zone for misaligned or damaged heads, and the repair costs for anything that needs replacing are always minimal (pretty much the cost of the part at Lowes). Also, when they installed my system (11 zones over half an acre), I was given several options for cost vs efficiency, and their crew that showed up was professional and working at 6am. The estimate I had been given assured me that it would only take a day, and by 6pm, they were cleaning up and explaining the various features and capabilities of the controller. The lawn fertilization is where I really have come to enjoy them. I always try to shop and hire local, and over the years it seems that lawn fertilization has become my annoyance. Whether it is Trugreen/Chemlawn, Scott's, or the local mom and pop shop, no one arrives on time. The treatments start a month late, then no one shows up for two months, and when I do call to inquire where they are, the services typically give me the same response - 'Oh, we were coming out in two days'. Then at the end of the year, I get three treatments in rapid succession. Spinklerman shows up in the Spring as the ground is getting up to the proper temperature, their applications have the proper 6 week spacing, and when they complete the application, their staff cleans up the sidewalks and driveway of any excess. In short, hire with confidence.
