This is probably a solid pick for this area as the choices are slim here but we're not from here so…read moreit's hard to gauge so 3 stars for the area but if this were near us in Georgia, I'd give it 0-1 stars. It's a rural area bbq spot, 2 entrees ~$30 before tip which was a bit expensive imo for what you get The chicken nachos were a 1 star imo Pulled pork plate 2 stars The pork wasnt dry but it did have a ton of fatty pieces & it didn't have much flavor but the texture was mostly ok. The green beans taste like canned nothing beans overcooked The hush puppies were actually decent so those you should get if you come here The nachos are thick and the pulled chicken is like if I bought a Costco rotisserie chicken and ripped off all the chicken by hand leaving cartilage and inedible pieces intact. I even found a little bone in "pulled chicken" which is really chunks of rotisserie chicken. The cheese sauce may have curdled a bit or not been blended well A few canned jalapenos and a big blob of sour cream tossed on top The sauces made the food edible but they were very thin and just tasted like vinegar/sugar/ketchup. Or same but mustard for the yellow one The parking is on the street and there's a small lot nearby that says public parking and then you basically have the choice of this or the similar quality Mexican across the street. There's a couple of other shops on this road too Also it's counter service and you clean up after yourself so I guess you're supposed to tip for them to bring your food out of the kitchen? Strange when literally everywhere expects tips

I discovered this gem on a recent visit to South Carolina and I think I'm in love. I had never…read moreheard of Price's BBQ and if it weren't for my brother recommending it, I may never have come across it. Be aware, you don't just happen past Price's (in Gilbert, SC), you literally have to make an effort to go there. But it is well worth the effort. I grew up in Lexington, but have since moved away. On a recent visit home, I brought my youngest daughter with me to introduce her to the place that her father grew up. I wanted to have her experience the sights, sounds and flavors of my hometown. Price's BBQ is NOT a large joint. However, the food that they serve is absolutely fantastic. I would recommend Price's BBQ to anyone that has the urge for down-home country cooking served as an all-u-can-eat buffet. This is absolutely your spot. Price's BBQ is family owned and operated - I can only assume it is by the Price family. I was impressed with the quality and quantity of entrees and desserts. Both were excellent. Note: this is a home style restaurant and if you're thinking/expecting it to be like a Ryan's or Golden Corral, you are in for a completely different experience. The restaurant was clean and presentable. The service was excellent and incredibly friendly. Most importantly, the food was exceptional. I can't wait to eat here again.

There is so much space in the front with cornhole boards or just to hang out. When we walked In I could tell this was going to be amazing BBQ. Writing on the walls and chairs, menus board hanging on the wall and daily specials written on chalk boards. Or orders were quickly taken by a very efficient hostess the. We grabbed a seat. I ordered brisket and pork with collards and cobbler. My wife ordered the same with the grits and my son had the side of Mac and cheese with his brisket. The brisket slices were think and it was really well cooked. The pork was awesome but the sides were out of this world. Every single one of them was perfect. There were four BBQ sauces to choose from, Eastern NC style, hot, mild and mustard. I am not a huge fan of mustard BBQ (I'm from NC, IYKYK) but I'll say this was the best I had. The hot was my favorite and it had just the right amount of heat. For those that may be concerned about the description of the writing on the walls and divey spot don't be. The place was clean and very nice. The health rating was great and it was a really nice place.

I ordered the Barbecue Salmon with Stemmed Broccoli and Hush puppies. This was so good and juicy. It had just the right amount of sauce, not too heavy or too light. It was perfect:) The broccoli was nice and fresh. Omg, the hush puppies were amazing! My husband ordered the Chili the Kid Tacos. The meat he chose was chicken. He stated it had a little spice with a sweet aftertaste. This he loved! The chicken was tender and full of guacamole, pickled onions and salsa. He also ordered Spanish rice and beans to make his meal complete. Everything was prepared well. Customer service was great. The ambiance was well lit, and the restaurant was clean. We enjoyed everything to the last drop!

Medwood popped up on my Yelp feed as a solid option, so we decided to check it out. The Western-themed decor features plenty of dark wood and dim lighting, which created a great vibe. As for the food, the barbecue was good--tender and not too dry or tough. I went with the half rack of ribs while my wife got the pulled chicken plate. Service was attentive, and our dishes came out quickly. While the meal overall was enjoyable rather than particularly memorable, their signature BBQ sauces were fantastic and definitely worth buying a bottle or two to take home.
