Its suburban but there is a lot of money in this pocket of the Shire and the cafe is constantly busy when its open. Seems they open and work hard , then close. Ive not sat in and dined but takeaway is exceptional and caring . They do catering for private functions too

What a great little Cafe hidden down in Burraneer!…read more We arrived and found a park pretty easy which is always a great benefit over the inner city or even Cronulla! What we found was a bustling little shopping complex with a vibrant busy cafe at the centre of it. We grabbed a table and ordered at the front counter where we saw the kitchen well and truly in action! I love being able to see where the magic happens! We sat and our drinks came out quickly. My wife with a tea which was nicely made, not too strong :) I had a double ristretto and a Picollo. My ristretto was a bit long, more like an espresso, but well balanced and full of Flavour. My Picollo was equally as nice. Well balanced, good Flavour and not too weak. Our food came and YUM! I got the ricotta pancakes which were delicious. Reminded me of good home cooking! Not too fancy just good honest food! My wife got the poached eggs, bacon avo on sourdough! Exactly what was promised and CRISPY Bacon! Nom nom nom! A great atmosphere, and experience, we will definitely be back. :)

Mint Organics is located at Cronulla on Nicholson Parade opposite Gunnamatta Park…read more Plenty of parking over the road, & you'll find it perched on the corner, & waiting for you to pop in for a coffee or a bite to eat. A friend & I popped in here for a quick bite of breakfast after an early morning of exercise at Bass & Flinders Point. There was plenty to choose from on the menu, making the decision a little difficult. However we'd both been drawn to the specials board we spotted on the way in & opted to try the halloumi & chorizo stack on sourdough with Avo, rocket. It was one slice of sourdough packed & stacked with plenty of flavour & good value for $9.50. It satisfied my hunger & I'd happily have it again. The coffee's & other treats in the cabinet looked great & worth popping in to try or meet friends for a coffee. they had banana scones on the counter for tasting & I had a sample & would happily eat a whole one :-) There is also a small grocery section of organic products to purchase. If you're in the area & looking for a healthy option for lunch to meer friends I wouldn't pass by MINT, it's worth popping in & enjoying the warm, friendly atmosphere.

The strategically placed sign on the corner promising 'Haloumi & Chorizo' lured me in with the enthusiasm of a kid hyped up on candy at Disneyland. An Aladdin's Cave of health food, this place has charm & enchantment packed to the gills. Taking a seat overlooking Gunnamatta Park, we both order the above mentioned 'Haloumi/Chorizo Stack', a special served on sourdough with avocado, roast capsicum, rocket & aioli. With a great range of smoothies & juices, as well as the temptation of coffee, I probably should have made more of an attempt to explore the menu, instead settling on water. Suffice it to say, the Haloumi/Chorizo Stack was extremely tasty. While a little heavy handed on the aioli, it was still thoroughly enjoyable. In hindsight, I probably should have chosen something a little more conducive to my morning run, but them's small hairs to split when talking about chorizo right? RIGHT?! A great little find here at Mint, undoubtedly I'll return in an effort to explore more of the menu.

Depending on what type of plate you get determines how many choices you can have. I wanted a light lunch so got a small plate and chose 3 different types of food. Seriously it's true, they say so themselves. All things aside, they cater to the vegan, lactose free, gluten free... free free free.. Well no, it's still going to cost you, but it covers all the strict dietary requirement people well & not a home made knitted cardigan in sight. There are plenty of yummy offerings on their menu & in their window of salads & hot food. I had a 5 option mixed plate, & chose 5 for $15, choosing two salads, & three hots. I had a pumpkin salad which was tasty, a beetroot & walnut salad, which was lacking something... but still lovely & fresh, the mint dressing I opted for gave it a bit of a lift, which it needed. The hot food I chose was a red curry tofu, which was very tasty, a lentil dish, yum yum, & chickpea & cabbage kofta with fragrant tomato sauce. They were very tasty & I could have eaten a whole plate full. They are open from 7am, & serve from a breakfast menu as well. I had lunch there & there's plenty on offer, from soups & sandwiches, to the salads & hot food in their counter window. There are cakes, biscuits, & all sorts of sweet treats, to have with their coffee & chai, which is homemade. I'm quite sure they know how to milk an almond at Heart & Soul, & it is a lovely cafe atmosphere with plenty of seating, & an extensive menu that caters well to those with strict eating regime's & dietary needs. It's not your place if you have a hankering for a dirty big egg & bacon roll with barbecue sauce, but it is your place to try some great, fresh produce well prepared with thought & care. I'll be back next time to try something sweet & a coffee.

The place itself is quite minimalist, which is something that I also really like, especially when it is done well, as is the case here. Run by the amazing Suzie and her brilliant team, Sisterfox aways produces high quality espresso and home made delicious (albeit simple) food. For $5 I can get my morning ristretto which is made on a different bean each day (delicious, fun and educational!) and morning picollo! When the team at Sisterfox sees me coming they know what I have and begin to get it ready! Such amazing customer service! Without doubt my coffee is ALWAYS delicious! Quality is something that is synonymous with the team here and although their food is simple (the focus is on the coffee) it is honestly YUM! The BAT sandwich, pulled pork burger or homemade muffins (often GF/DF) are the perfect compliment to their well made coffee. Suzie has done an amazing job in producing a high quality, all round great cafe with a brilliant friendly atmosphere. Thanks for always making my mornings better!
