The view, the waves, the service, the food... And best of all, no tourists! Chef Alejandro elevates a casual "beach bar" to a fine dining experience. Even the burgers are a cut above. The Paella is a treat and the fish tacos are some of the best around.

Beautiful view, friendly staff. My husband and I ordered a mixed ceviche with fried pana and an order of the shrimp ceviche tostones. Presentation was beautiful, but unfortunately lacked in flavor. Mojito barely had any alcohol! Would definitely return once restaurant becomes more established.

What a fantastic place with a view. I was happy to have found this place. We went during late afternoon, this place looks like it gets busy at night. Location has their own parking. Staff was attentive. I had the stuffed avocado with octopus which was delicious. My wife had a hefty burger. The piña colada and sangria were refreshing. After we finished we walked down to the beach which was quite the view.

This was the first place my wife and I came to after visiting some of her family members nearby. We ordered the ceviche and a couple of drinks. The drinks were made okay. The ceviche didn't taste fresh and was lacking any flavor, but the presentation was nice and the location is clean and right next to the beach!

Fish tacos are excellent. Loved the drinks and great view. Lots of beach chairs to sit in. This spot is a gem Just beautiful. Opens at noon for lunch.

Perfection. 20 minute drive from Condado on the coast. An amazing hideaway in Loíza, with Gorgeous outdoor waterfront patio dining. And bar attached is called Hook'd. Friendly service staff. Delicious and beautiful food. Simple Modern decor. Listen to the waves crash in the sun or shade while enjoying tapas and a cocktail. We enjoyed a lovely lunch and then went down the the sand and rented a beach lounge and umbrella on-site beneath their deck. We stayed all day. A must see if you want to venture a little out of San Juan.

I really don't know how I missed this spot before in Piñones. I mean they have truffle fries!!!! Sick right? It was awesome! They also had an amazing view to the ocean with louche chairs on the grass. ....and let's not forget one of the most famous brunch drink aside from mimosas.... (drumroll please....) BLODDY MARYS!!!! They had them! Insane right? Like it's a locals spot that has t been ventured by too many tourists yet, but lo and behold, the famous brunch drink was present and accounted for. This puts certain Condado restaurants to shame who promote their brunch extravaganza wildly (shame, shame). This sit down restaurant made me not want to leave at all. It was laidback but nice at the same time. Nicer than what you'd expect from a Piñones mom and pop restaurant of course. This was more upscale than that but still laidback. My kinda vibe exactly!

Love this place. Great service. We had reservations but was running behind. They were easy to coordinate with. Great drinks and food. I got the mimosa bucket, my husband had Coronas. We stayed awhile. Friends met us there. Had the conch salad, boletas and fish tacos. Everything was amazing. Great beach set up and ambiance. Oh they had a band the. Waiter and bartender were both on point

This place is spectacular- right on a quiet beach, cute patio and food is really upscale! Had fish tacos, coconut shrimp and Quattro leches cake. Shrimp was so amazing!! Had a couple cocktails - spicy margarita was nice - on the chairs overlooking the beach - perfect Sunday Funday!

Paella was underseasoned and mushy. Service was horrible. Great location but they definitely have a long way to go. Such a shame.

It was recommended by one of our tour guides so it is a great option for both locals and tourists. It had a nice atmosphere and very large menu with many different types of options. The Frutti di mare was one of the best pastas I've ever had! It had almost every type of seafood you could want. A great option for someone who wants to try a bit of everything. It was large enough to satisfy you but not too large where you have to take leftovers it back to your hotel. It also came with a salad and delicious bread. My husband ordered the yucafongo pollo, and was very impressed. It was also filling and well made. The drink menu also had a lot of options. I went with the sangria which was super tasty! It's more on the fruity side. Our service was great and we didn't have to wait long for a table or our food, although it seemed busy. Whether you live in the area or are just on vacation, I would recommended trying it out!

Everything was fresh and delicious! The portions were perfect for sharing and had a wonderful flavor! The shrimp tacos were lightly breaded and had a good flavor. We do travel with a wheelchair. The server was very good and well knowledgeable on the menu. He was even photographed in the menu. We ordered a couple cocktails as well as many appetizers. We didn't order any entrees, as our family likes to try many things. My wife's favorite is ceviche and she was impressed by this dish. (Order it) We also ordered fish bites. Solid choice as the guava sauce was memorable. La arepas de coconut. Solid. The fish empanadas were great. Definitely order those. But calamari was chewy and overcooked. I'd pass on this. Cocktails were amazing. Spicy margarita is spicy!! I had a mojito which was delicious. You won't go wrong with any cocktail. Server was great. He did mention to me that we should order soon as the kitchen will get busy. We waited as we were enjoying our dinner. (We didn't have any problems) I'd go back. I'd also suggest sticking to your plan. It's your evening and don't let service control the experience. At the end of it...you control the tip = thank you.

I also tried the coconut mojito on the rocks, which was a standout: refreshing, well-balanced, and served with fruit (strawberry, cherry, and blueberries) mixed in. My wife had the fish mofongo, which she felt was just okay--decent, but not particularly memorable. That said, overall this is a great dinner spot if you're in the area. There's plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors; we opted to sit outside since the AC inside was a bit too cold. Definitely worth checking out for a relaxed meal and solid cocktails.

We got recommended here from our hotel concierge and she did not disappoint. This place is highly frequented by the neighborhood regulars but it's hard to hide such a delightful gem like this. So not surprisingly you have a steady stream of tourists who are constantly trickling in the entire time as well. The ambiance is a lot to do with the experience here. It is all outdoor seating with 5-6 different spots you can choose to sit. The seats and tables are set up in bare minimum style and they focus more on the food and the local chill vibe they flow through this place. Apparently, the food we ordered were mostly street food appetizers. This was mainly because they had so many delectable options in the app section that we ended up solely ordering a wild medley of their assorted apps. We tried their Risotto & Chorizo Croquettes, Stuffed Fried Plaintains (Spicy Crab, Beef, & Shrimp), Spicy Crab Eggrolls, & Fish Tacos. Everything was good but the Shrimp Stuffed Plaintains were the most delicious. The bonus to this place is that they rock upbeat electronic music like an upbeat lounge you'd come across in New York or LA. It doesn't hurt that you are seconds away from an unoccupied beach front where you can dig your toes in the soft sand and the cool water splashes up to your ankles all afternoon long. It is a mini paradise spot that you must check out.
