When my urinalysis showed no Butrans, he booted me out without explanation nor me being able to get a word in, questioning the testing facility and methods. Five minutes of web research disclosed dozens of others whose drug screening missed the Butrans, and a study by the US NIH stating that only 44.7% tests were correct! Now I've found that reviews of his practice are 5 to 1 against him, most finding him arrogant, without compassion, and indifferent. I'd have to add ignorant to the other descriptive terms now that he's ejected me to the curb, to face opioid withdrawal cold turkey, after decades of opioid prescriptions. I, as several others that I know of, had to go to the ER after 'treatment' by him, spent almost a week there, and he refused to visit, right across the street from his office. I later learned that he has NO affiliations & no authorization with that hospital, which is counter to his information posted on many of the reference pages where he is listed.
From the gov national institutes of health: "Urinalysis failed to detect buprenorphine in 44.7% of the samples."
