Karl Friedrich May was a popular German writer, noted mainly for adventure novels set in the American Old West. This bar is an embodiment of his work and set in a modern yet Wild West kind of style. It's big yet not cramped for space. They also have an outdoor inner courtyard for warm days. The menu here is huge, almost 50 pages of cocktails, schnapps, whiskeys and so on. Everything from basic spirits through to rare whiskeys and so on. They have a cocktail happy hour from 6-8pm most evenings. The staff are well dressed and very friendly. There is a large selection of cigars here and they do have a small cigar lounge that I was told can be opened on request. I had three different cocktails here and they were all great. My szchewan daiquiri could have been spicier but other than that it was excellent. A place I could come and spend many an evening hanging around with friends and sipping cocktails. A fabulous bar in Dresden that is also relatively reasonable.

Am a regular customer there,,, inspite of bad service still i like to go there coz of location and easy access to public tram. Recent happenings made more worse,, when we sit over 1 or 2 am, the staff compels to buy a drink, even though shisha was still going on. And sometimes they speak quite hard ( male waiters), we are not taking free service or free stuff... we pay... and that should not be the case... Some guys are real tough to make them understand. And thats 3, rating.
