The thought of delicious-but-dangerous wheat products coming into contact with her other food is not a prospect Therese H. relishes. So the server's response struck her as insensitive and uncaring. As much as I enjoyed by basic meat and potatoes, an unhappy wife makes for an unhappy life. Sorry, Alex, you're just not for us.
